Luo Shimiao: "Okay, Uncle Hong."
Gu Nian asked curiously, "Why don't you and your third brother live at home? Your third brother comes straight to my place as soon as he gets back."
"I'm afraid of being nagged by my mom. My older brother and second brother's kids are old enough to run errands, and he's 26 and doesn't even have a girlfriend, yet he's always flying all over the world."
Gu Nian: "And what about you?"
Luo Shimiao: "My dad often has to fly to the US on business trips. He goes there and then he takes his wife with him. He's a man who can't live without his wife."
"Big brother, second brother has his own family. When Mom and Dad go on business trips, only my third brother and I are left at home. It's kind of scary to live in an empty house. Later, I entered the entertainment industry, and the company assigned me the apartment I live in now. Why not take advantage of a free place?"
He glanced at Gu Nian and continued, "My third brother probably came to your place to freeload because no one was home."
"Please tell your third brother that he'll have to pay next time he comes. He's been getting freebies from me for years."
Twenty minutes later, the car passed through a villa area and finally stopped in front of a luxurious manor villa.
Luo Shimiao raised an eyebrow: "Would you like to visit my house? My parents are away on a business trip and haven't come back yet."
The man's lips curled into a smile: "Okay."
When the housekeeper Chen Xiang saw Luo Shimiao, she rubbed her eyes, thinking she was seeing things: "Miss, it really is you. Why didn't you tell me you were coming back? I would have prepared something delicious for you."
Luo Shimiao smiled and introduced to Gu Nian: "This is my family's beautiful, kind, and incredibly caring housekeeper, Aunt Chen."
Gu Nian nodded: "Hello, Aunt Chen."
Aunt Chen: "Fine, fine, Miaomiao, you brought your boyfriend home without even telling me."
Aunt Chen looked Gu Nian up and down, becoming more and more satisfied, her smile practically splitting her lips.
"He's not my boyfriend, I just stopped by to pick up some things. I'm in a hurry, Aunt Chen, I'll talk to you later." After saying that, she grabbed Gu Nian and ran off without waiting for Aunt Chen to reply.
Aunt Chen said from behind, "Miaomiao, I forgot to tell you, Madam is back."
Luo Shimiao, who ran faster than a rabbit, didn't hear what Aunt Chen said.
