Shen Yanqing keenly sensed someone behind him and was about to turn around when Qi Yu punched him.
He tilted his head to dodge, and the fist just barely grazed his cheek.
Upon seeing who it was, Shen Yanqing's deep eyes instantly darkened. He hadn't even settled accounts with him yet, but the man had delivered himself to his doorstep.
His face immediately darkened, and he threw a punch back without any hesitation.
The next moment, the two grabbed each other's collars and started wrestling back and forth.
Big Head and his black-clad bodyguards caught up from behind.
Before he even got close, he saw Qi Yu wrestling with Shen Yanqing and immediately shouted angrily, "Brothers, beat him up!"
He noticed as soon as he arrived that although this pretty boy wasn't as strong as the boss, he was very cunning in his attacks, always targeting the most vulnerable spots.
What a despicable and insidious scoundrel.
He immediately led his bodyguards to rush forward.
Before they even got close, a dozen tall, menacing men appeared in front of them.
The men were all dressed in black, with identical snake tattoos on the backs of their hands.
They lined up in a row, completely blocking the road, clearly not wanting them to pass.
The crowd parted the next moment, and a woman in a red dress walked out from among the men in black, swaying her slender waist.
The woman was voluptuous, with glamorous makeup and a captivating charm in her eyes and brows, like a bewitching enchantress.
She stood there with the men in black behind her, blocking the way of the bodyguards, and laughed charmingly: "It's their own grudge, it's best for outsiders not to interfere."
The two sides were roughly equal in number and their fighting abilities seemed to be on par. In a fight, neither side would suffer a significant loss, nor would they gain much of an advantage.
Big Head snorted coldly and stood there with his arms crossed.
Anyway, he's just a weakling, and the boss himself is fine. Neither of them has any weapons, so nothing serious is going to happen.
Just then, a bodyguard in black standing behind him suddenly widened his eyes: "Big Head, that brat has a knife!"
"What?"
Big Head immediately panicked and tried to rush forward, but was stopped by Nightshade as soon as he took a step.
"I don't hit women, please don't..."
Before he could finish speaking, he received a loud slap across the face, making his ears ring.
"Depend on!"
Big Head spat fiercely, staring at the woman in front of him with his eyes almost popping out of their sockets.
Nightshade rubbed her left hand, which she had just used to hit someone, and smiled charmingly: "It's okay, I don't care. I'll beat up whoever gets in my way."
Big Head's anger was completely ignited. He rolled up his sleeves and swung his arm, punching the black-clad man who was standing next to Night Charm who was watching the commotion, knocking him down with a single blow.
The man in black who was inexplicably dragged into this mess?
"Damn it, you're asking for it!"
Someone uttered a curse first, and the two groups who had just been exchanging glances instantly became like firecrackers with lit fuses, cursing and wrestling together, creating a chaotic scene.
Gu Baiwei also saw Qi Yu pull out a dagger from somewhere and was about to stab Shen Yanqing, and she immediately turned pale with fright.
By the time she realized what was happening, she was already standing in front of Shen Yanqing.
Qi Yu was surprised that even though she had lost her memory, she was still protecting this man. Her gaze swept over Shen Yanqing with a sinister look, and the dagger veered to the side, grazing Shen Yanqing's arm and leaving a faint bloodstain.
Shen Yanqing was also surprised that Gu Baiwei would suddenly rush out to protect him from the knife. He was stunned for a moment, then his eyes flashed with emotion, and his gaze toward Gu Baiwei became even more tender.
Even Gu Baiwei herself was stunned for a moment; it was almost an instinctive reaction from her body.
Subconsciously, she felt that this man seemed to be really important to her.
Whether it was the flutter in her heart when he teased her last time, or the instinctive act of shielding him from harm this time, both confirmed this idea.
But... who exactly is he?
As soon as she started thinking, a headache swept over her again, and her small face instantly contorted into a grimace, her delicate eyebrows furrowing tightly together.
"Weiwei!"
Seeing her like this, Shen Yanqing felt as if his heart was being pricked by needles. He was extremely distressed and immediately reached out to hug her, but Qi Yu beat him to it.
Qi Yu approached Gu Baiwei, a gentle smile playing on her lips: "Weiwei, you're not fully recovered yet. It's windy here, shall I take you back to your room first?"
He gently reached out his hand to her, his eyes fixed on her, as if patiently waiting for her response.
In reality, his right hand, hanging down, was clenched into a fist, revealing a hidden unease within him, as if something that belonged to him was about to be taken away again.
Before Gu Baiwei could move, she felt a large hand tightly grip hers.
The scorching heat came from where our skin touched, and my palms felt like they were being burned.
Her heart skipped a beat, and she struggled slightly, but when that large hand forcefully intertwined her fingers, she remained silent and did not break free.
The air fell silent for a moment, and even the two groups fighting fiercely next to them stopped what they were doing and turned to look at them.
Night Enchantress's gaze fell on Qi Yu, noticing that his eyes were filled with a tenderness she had never seen before, and he was looking at the woman with such focus that he didn't pay any attention to her at all. She gently bit her lower lip and looked away.
"Weiwei, have you remembered?"
Qi Yu noticed the two's interlocked fingers, and her gaze turned cold.
After a brief silence, Gu Baiwei gently shook her head and said, "Qi Yu, let me go."
"Why?" If you can't remember, why leave him?
