Chapter One: The Real and the Fake Madam

"Ye Sinian, get out of here! I don't want to see you again!"

Accompanying the woman's screams was the cacophony of countless porcelain pieces shattering on the ground.

Gu Baiwei frowned subconsciously. It's so noisy!

"Get out! Get out of here!"

Another scream rang out, accompanied by the ear-piercing noise of objects scraping against the ground. Gu Baiwei could no longer bear it. She kicked the blanket away and sat up angrily, yelling, "Is this ever going to end?"

As soon as he finished speaking, the door slammed shut, and the room fell into a deathly silence.

Gu Baiwei then realized that she was in the hospital room.

The pungent smell of disinfectant brought her back to her senses. Could it be that she had been saved?

As consciousness slowly returned, she looked at the young man who had been kicked out of the ward through the door.

The moment she saw the man's face clearly, countless unfamiliar memories flooded her mind, jolting her awake.

It turns out she transmigrated into a book, and her two children were both villains in the book.

Due to a family-arranged marriage, the son, Ye Sinian, was forced to break up with his first love and marry a woman with whom he had no emotional foundation. He only had his first love in his heart and ignored the woman after the marriage.

Later, the female lead was heartbroken and divorced him, turning to the male lead for help. Only then did her son realize that he had already fallen in love with the female lead, leading to a desperate attempt to win her back. In the end, he died alone.

After her parents died, Ye Chuyue, the daughter, only had the female protagonist as her true friend. Her only brother was busy with work all day and ignored her.

She and the female lead appear to be best friends and are inseparable, but in reality, she secretly harbors a deep and obsessive love for the female lead.

In an attempt to create distance between the male and female leads, she repeatedly plotted to seduce the male lead. However, after being exposed by the male and female leads, she was disgraced, suffered a mental breakdown, and was confined to a mental hospital to end her life.

Gu Baiwei looked at the young man opposite her with complicated feelings. The man noticed her gaze, and his cold gaze swept over her, his eyes as deep as an icy pool.

Gu Baiwei became excited immediately. This young man was none other than her son, Ye Sinian, who had grown up.

She gripped the edge of the bed tightly, trying to control herself.

You can't just rush up to him and tell him she's his mother.

She's only in her early twenties, and she's treated like a younger sister when she stands next to Ye Sinian.

If I rashly tell him the truth, I might be kicked out as a mental patient.

Fortunately, Ye Sinian's attention was not on her; he glanced at her and left expressionlessly.

Gu Baiwei hurriedly followed; she was anxious!

She couldn't bear to watch her only son regret it for the rest of his life.

I followed them all the way to the hospital entrance and saw the ambulance stop. Doctors in white coats hurriedly carried the stretcher inside.

"The patient is bleeding heavily! Quickly, notify the operating room to prepare!"

As he passed Ye Sinian, he glanced at the bedsheet, which was soaked with blood.

Ye Sinian's face turned pale. He tried to look away, but suddenly felt dizzy and fell backward.

Suddenly, a pair of long, slender, fair hands steadied him.

Gu Baiwei helped him lean on her shoulder and used one hand to block his view.

She carried a faint scent of jasmine, which cleared Ye Sinian's previously dizzy mind.

He frowned slightly, coldly pushed Gu Baiwei away, and said in a detached and indifferent voice, "Thank you."

Sensing his aloofness, Gu Baiwei withdrew her hand: "You don't look well, why don't you rest for a while?"

Ye Sinian didn't move, his cold gaze sweeping over her.

The woman's skin was delicate and fair, like the finest mutton fat jade. Her slightly upturned eyebrows and eyes, though without makeup, exuded a captivating charm.

The face looked somewhat familiar, and Ye Sinian's expression instantly changed: "Stay away from me."

He left after saying that, but after only a few steps he felt a commotion behind him.

Ye Sinian turned around, his gaze sweeping over Gu Baiwei like a knife, his voice cold and sinister: "Don't follow me, or you'll face the consequences!"

Gu Baiwei was startled, but out of maternal love, she couldn't help but lean closer and ask, "Are you still dizzy?"

Gu Baiwei looked worried; this child had always been a show-off since he was little.

I remember when he was five years old, he had a high fever of 39 degrees Celsius, but he still went to school as usual. In the end, he fainted at school and was taken to the hospital by his teacher.

"This has nothing to do with you. I don't know you. Don't follow me anymore."

After saying that, Ye Sinian turned and left with a sullen face.

After taking only a few steps, his body swayed.

Gu Baiwei's heart tightened, and she rushed to help him, but he coldly shook her off: "Get lost!"

With his rough movements, Gu Baiwei fell to the ground with a thud.

With a clink, a necklace fell to Ye Sinian's feet.

He glanced down at it; it was an exquisitely crafted silver heart-shaped pendant, surrounded by a ring of diamonds, which shone brightly in the sunlight.

Ye Sinian's breath hitched as some memories flooded his mind, and his eyes seemed to well up with tears, but he quickly regained his composure.

He picked up the necklace, his slender fingers caressing the pendant. With a little force, he broke the pendant in two. After seeing what was inside, his fist slowly clenched, and his body trembled slightly.

His eyes churned with emotion, yet his tone remained cold. "Why do you have this? Who exactly are you?"

When Gu Baiwei saw that the family portrait necklace in Ye Sinian's hand had been broken, she could no longer hold back.

She spoke slowly, "Niannian, I am your mother."

To prove it, she hurriedly rolled up the sleeve of her left arm, revealing a noticeable dark red scar on her forearm. "Niannian, do you remember this scar? It's from when Mommy first cooked for you, and I accidentally burned myself. And here too..."

Ye Sinian saw the scar clearly, a hint of emotion flashing in his eyes, but it quickly disappeared: "Even if you really are her, so what?"

A mocking smile crept onto his lips. What a joke, his mother was long dead.

Gu Baiwei was speechless for a moment, unsure how to respond to his words.

Before she could react, Ye Sinian turned and strode away expressionlessly.

"Hey, Niannian, wait for me!"

Gu Baiwei immediately jogged after him. Since her identity had already been exposed, she might as well be a little shameless.

Evening, at the villa on the hillside.

Aunt Liu was preparing dinner when she heard the door open and rushed to greet her.

"Young Master, you're back? Are you hungry? I was just about to cook."

Just as she took the clothes, she was surprised to find a young woman behind Ye Sinian.

It should be noted that Ye Sinian had never brought a woman home to spend the night.

Even Ms. Lin, with whom he had been dating for many years, did not have this privilege.

Thinking of this, she couldn't help but take a second look, but the result left her dumbfounded.

Aunt Liu was stunned and subconsciously stammered, "Madam...?"
