Zhang Hai inwardly groaned, thinking to himself that this was troublesome; this man was probably going to stand up for his mistress.
He glanced at Huo Jinning furtively, pondering how to respond.
He knew that Huo Jinxin, the daughter whom the Huo family treasured, was not the person in front of him.
"It's a misunderstanding! It's all a misunderstanding! I don't know Yue Yitang at all."
"I came to this banquet today purely at Zhao Yihan's invitation, and I never expected to run into Yue Yitang. Mr. Huo, you should know that this is really just a coincidence." Zhang Hai argued, his face flushed, putting all the blame on Zhao Yihan.
