In the end, all three of them were quite drunk. While waiting for the driver to arrive at the door, they supported each other and made a promise to drink together again next time.
Not long after, Qian Chengfeng and Zhao Ziheng's driver arrived first. After saying goodbye to Huo Nanchu, they left.
At this moment, Huo Nanchu noticed a man who was completely drunk not far away, blocking a woman wearing a red dress.
The woman kept backing away until she had nowhere left to go.
Just as the man's hand was about to rest on the woman's shoulder, Huo Nanchu reached out without hesitation and tightly grasped the man's wrist.
His gaze was cold and resolute, revealing an unquestionable authority.
"Get out." Huo Nanchu uttered this cold word, as if the surrounding air instantly froze.
His cold, stern face was expressionless, and his eyes were as sharp as cold stars. He exuded an aura of authority that was impossible to ignore.
However, the drunk man seemed to ignore the warning.
He kept staring at the woman, muttering, "Who do you think you are? How dare you meddle in my business!"
Not only that, he became more and more enthusiastic in his insults, his words filled with provocation and disdain.
"Get out, don't make me say it a third time." Huo Nanchu spoke again, his voice lower and more serious than before, the threat in it becoming increasingly obvious.
At this moment, he was like a volcano about to erupt, needing only a spark to ignite endless fury.
Just then, the drunk man finally raised his head, but when he saw that the person in front of him was Huo Nanchu, he was sobered up by the time he realized it.
He opened his mouth wide but couldn't utter a complete sentence; his face was filled with astonishment and fear.
"Ah, Mr. Huo... I'm so sorry... I was blind to your greatness, please be magnanimous and don't hold it against me... I'll leave right away, I'll leave right away..." The man stammered as he apologized, nodding and bowing frantically.
He no longer cared about the woman beside him and, like a startled rabbit, hurriedly turned and fled the scene.
The woman looked at Huo Nanchu, who had helped her out of her predicament, and her heart was filled with gratitude.
She said softly, "Mr. Huo, thank you."
"Hmm." Huo Nanchu simply responded with a faint "hmm," without saying anything more.
But when he noticed that the woman was actually Yue Yitang, his brows furrowed slightly, revealing a hint of displeasure that was barely perceptible.
It seems that every time he encounters this woman, she brings him some unexpected trouble.
Looks like I'll have to remind my sister to stay away from her from now on...
"Go home early if you have nothing else to do. I'm leaving now." Huo Nanchu said this and turned to leave.
"Oh, okay..." Yue Yitang kept her head down, her voice so soft that it seemed only she could hear it.
However, after getting into the car, Huo Nanchu did not leave immediately, but instead looked at the entrance of the KTV from the car.
Time passed by, but Yue Yitang still did not come out.
Huo Nanchu began to feel anxious and impatient, and got out of the car to go back to find someone.
When he went inside, he was surprised to find Yue Yitang still squatting alone in the same spot, motionless.
"Why aren't you leaving yet?" he asked softly as he stepped forward.
"Move a little, don't block the sun. I need to bask in the sun, otherwise I won't grow up."
"He's had too much to drink," Huo Nanchu thought, rubbing his forehead before resignedly helping the person squatting on the ground to their feet.
"What are you doing? Don't knock my petals off." Yue Yitang struggled to stop him from touching her.
Huo Nanchu really wanted to just abandon her.
Finally, having exhausted all other options, I could only coax them by saying, "The sun has set, and the flowers should go home to rest, otherwise they won't grow big."
"Really? I'm a sunflower, I grow towards the sun." Yue Yitang scratched her hair in confusion.
"Yes, really. Come on, I'll take you home. You should rest."
"You're not the Little Prince, are you? I don't want to go with you. You only like your roses, not sunflowers. I'm going to wait for someone who likes sunflowers."
"I'm not the Little Prince, I'm just here to pick you up."
"So you only like me? I am a unique sunflower."
"Yes, I only like you, and only you," Huo Nanchu coaxed helplessly.
Drunk people often have strange and unpredictable thoughts.
At this moment, Yue Yitang was squatting on the ground, drunk, swaying slightly, and stretched out her hands, saying to Huo Nanchu with a face full of grievance, "Then I'll walk with you, give me a hug."
However, Huo Nanchu had clearly lost patience with this action. He frowned and replied in a somewhat displeased tone, "Don't push your luck."
As soon as she finished speaking, Yue Yitang's eyes instantly welled up with tears, which began to swirl in her large, crystal-clear eyes, as if they might roll down at any moment.
She pursed her lips tightly and muttered, "Waaah, you don't like sunflowers anymore, you only like your roses."
She looked like a pitiful child who had suffered the greatest injustice in the world but dared not cry out loud, giving people the illusion that they had really bullied her.
Left with no other choice, Huo Nanchu resigned himself to his fate and picked up Yue Yitang.
She instinctively wrapped her arms tightly around Huo Nanchu's neck and gently nuzzled his shoulder.
In that instant, the distance between the two closed considerably, and even Yue Yitang's soft breathing could be clearly heard, spraying directly onto Huo Nanchu's neck.
Huo Nanchu involuntarily twisted her neck, trying to avoid the warmth, but no matter how hard she tried, she seemed unable to escape it.
