Chapter 2 Lesions

...Is this really a human being?

The thought had barely crossed Lu Ning's numb mind when, in the next instant, a white laser beam pierced through his skull.

"snort……"

Colin, who was trying to dodge, was accidentally hit in the arm by the increasing number of lasers and let out a muffled groan.

Seeing this, Lin Xiao no longer hesitated.

He let out a low growl, and his whole body swelled up again, making his originally loose trench coat seem like a tight-fitting suit.

The white laser beam fell on him, melting his trench coat and revealing dark red muscles underneath.

The next moment, Lin Xiao stepped onto the metal floor, causing it to dent.

He vanished from his spot and reappeared in front of Li Mu.

The fist, twice the size of the previous one, landed heavily on Li Mu's abdomen.

Boom!!

Li Mu's body flew backward several meters, crashing heavily into the metal wall before slowly sliding to the ground and passing out.

As Li Mu fainted, her open eyes slowly closed, and her skin turned snow-white again.

After doing all this, he collapsed to the ground, panting heavily.

Lin Xiao's body has returned to its original size, but his trench coat is now tattered.

He looked at Colin with some concern: "Are you alright?"

Colin glanced at his bloodied arm and shook his head: "It's just a minor injury."

Then, looking at the unconscious Li Mu, he was somewhat incredulous: "How could this happen? Although Mu Mu's mental pollution level has reached the warning line, it shouldn't have reached the point of direct pathological change!"

Lin Xiao looked at Li Mu in silence, then seemed to realize something, his eyes flashing slightly: "That person before... he stared at Mu Mu and even said something?"

Colin paused, realizing what had happened: "Right! He asked Mu Mu, 'What are you looking at?' Hey! You..."

Colin quickly turned to look at Lu Ning.

Then his voice stopped.

Lu Ning, lying on the hospital bed, had more than a dozen bloody holes in his body, and his clothes and the hospital bed were stained red with blood.

His eyes were wide open, his gaze dull, as if he had died with his eyes open in disbelief.
