The burly man led the two men to an empty room on the left and closed the door.
Lin Xiao smiled and asked, "How's business lately?"
"It's alright." The burly man waved his hand, then said in a low voice, "But it seems like there are more awakenings lately?"
Lin Xiao's smile faded, and he nodded slightly: "Yes, there are more and more cases of disease now."
As he spoke, he seemed to remember something and pulled Lu Ning over: "Come on, let me introduce you. This is our team's new member, Lu Ning. This is Tai Long, he used to be my colleague."
Tyrone raised an eyebrow and looked Lu Ning up and down: "Such a young kid, a newbie who just awakened?"
Lin Xiao chuckled: "Then you've misjudged him. This kid is no ordinary person. He just killed a fifth-tier opponent a couple of days ago."
Tyrone was taking a drag of his cigarette when he heard this, and he coughed repeatedly, his face turning red from coughing.
Tyrone looked at Lin Xiao with a strange expression: "Old Lin, it's been a few days, and you've become more of a joker, huh?"
"Hey, I'm not kidding. I told you this kid is special, but I can't go into the details. You know the bureau's regulations."
Seeing that Lin Xiao didn't seem to be joking, Tyrone looked at Lu Ning with suspicion and a hint of seriousness in his eyes.
He smiled and extended his hand to Lu Ning: "Lu Ning, right? I'm practically your senior now. Come visit sometime, and I'll treat you to a free meal."
Lu Ning also reached out and shook hands with Tai Long: "Hello, senior."
At this point, Lu Ning paused, then said in a serious tone, "Senior, it seems you're about to fall ill."
