Elizabeth looked puzzled.
Just as she was racking her brains trying to figure it out, the doorbell suddenly rang.
"Who is it?" Elizabeth muttered, opening the door to find a strange young man standing there.
"Lin Feng?" Elizabeth was stunned.
"Mr. Lin Feng, what brings you here?" Elizabeth asked.
Lin Feng looked at the girl in front of him, his eyes filled with amazement.
The girl was wearing a pink dress, with a long ponytail, and had a pair of big, bright eyes.
Her skin was fair and her face was rosy. She looked like a young girl of sixteen or eighteen, full of vitality, giving the impression of being sixteen or seventeen years old.
"Are you Elizabeth?" Lin Feng asked.
"That's right." Elizabeth nodded. "You are..."
"I am Lin Feng." Lin Feng smiled.
"Lin Feng..." Elizabeth paused for a moment, then suddenly realized, "Oh, I know, you must be Mr. Lin Feng!!"
"That's right." Lin Feng nodded. "I heard you're from Skynet?"
"That's right!!" Elizabeth exclaimed excitedly, "To be honest, I'm also a secret agent."
Upon hearing this, Lin Feng gave Elizabeth a closer look: "I didn't expect you to be a secret agent. So, do you know who Lin Feng is?"
"Of course I know!" Elizabeth said proudly. "You are the number one martial arts master in China. Under your aura, no one in the world can match you. Moreover, it is said that you created a martial arts miracle, turning an ordinary person into a superhuman. Of course I've heard of such a legendary figure!!"
Lin Feng smiled faintly: "That's right, I am Lin Feng."
"Wow, so you really are Lin Feng!" Elizabeth exclaimed excitedly. "I never expected to run into you tonight!"
"Yes, I didn't expect that either." Lin Feng smiled slightly.
"Lin Feng, you want to ask about my background, right?" Elizabeth asked.
"That's right."
"My name is Elizabeth, and I'm an orphan," Elizabeth said. "I grew up in an orphanage."
"An orphanage? You're Chinese too?"
"That's right." Elizabeth nodded.
"And what about your parents?"
"They're dead," Elizabeth said.
"Dead? Why did he die?" Lin Feng asked in surprise.
"I don't know either." Elizabeth shook her head. "Anyway, they're all dead, and their bodies can't even be found."
"this......"
"Mr. Lin Feng, do you know? I actually envy you, because my parents are dead, they're no longer in this world. And your parents didn't die from illness, they died from other causes." Elizabeth sighed, "My fate is so tragic, I never had parental love growing up."
"It's alright, you still have me." Lin Feng smiled slightly. "You're a very lucky child, and I hope you can stay happy like this forever."
"Yes, thank you, Mr. Lin Feng." Elizabeth looked at Lin Feng gratefully.
"You're welcome." Lin Feng shook his head. "Do you know the origin of this jade pendant?"
"I know." Elizabeth nodded. "It's a secret weapon developed by Skynet, specifically designed to capture assassins lurking in the shadows."
"Can I try it out now?" Lin Feng asked.
"sure."
Elizabeth nodded and handed Lin Feng an exquisite box. "Mr. Lin Feng, please open it and see if there's any poison inside. If not, I can tell you some secrets about it. If it's full of poison, then you can conduct your experiments. That way, you'll be safe."
"Hmm, thank you." Lin Feng opened the box and was immediately stunned by the gems inside.
Inside lay an oval-shaped gemstone, emitting a pale blue light.
"Blue crystal!!" Lin Feng was taken aback.
Lin Feng had seen this kind of kyanite in China; it was worth tens of millions of US dollars.
However, this type of kyanite is only found in Europe and Africa, and is generally considered a collectible for the wealthy, rarely exported.
"It seems Skynet is really determined to get this blue crystal, even sending you, a top assassin, to carry out this mission," Lin Feng thought to himself.
"Mr. Lin Feng, please don't worry, we will continue the transaction later," Elizabeth said.
Lin Feng nodded: "Okay."
Elizabeth glanced at Lin Feng: "Mr. Lin Feng, I'd like to ask you a question."
"You ask."
"How exactly did your parents die?" Elizabeth asked.
"An unexpected car accident," Lin Feng said after a moment's thought.
"Oh..." Elizabeth nodded.
How did your parents die?
"My father was a doctor, and my mother was a nurse," Lin Feng said slowly. "My father passed away from a serious illness when I was two years old, and my mother developed cancer while taking care of me."
"Then..." Elizabeth hesitated for a moment, "Where is your mother now?"
"I don't know." Lin Feng shook his head.
"Then, do you remember their names?"
"Of course I remember," Lin Feng said.
"Can you tell me their names?" Elizabeth asked.
"I'm not sure," Lin Feng said.
"Your mother's surname is Lin and her given name is Feng, and your father's name is Lin Feng. My name is Lin Feng," Elizabeth said.
"Lin Feng?"
