Chapter 28 Liu Cheng'an, the Second Master of the Liu Family
Si Jinchen was afraid that she would fall, so he quickly reached out and took her clothes: "Juanjuan, what do you want these clothes for?"
Si Jinchen had a hard time holding up the clothes and had to tilt his head to see the road.
"Master, let me take it!" Bailing reached out and took the clothes.
Juanjuan took Si Jinchen's hand and walked to the window, pointing outside: "Brother, that grandpa is so pitiful."
Si Jinchen immediately understood what he meant: "Then let's get him some more food."
"Okay." The curly little face smiled like a little flower.
She took out a handkerchief from her small bag. There were some leftover snacks on the table from entertaining the guests. She carefully picked it up with her small hands and placed it on the handkerchief.
Si Jinchen helped her tie the handkerchief to prevent it from falling to the ground.
"Sister Bailing, let's go deliver clothes to that grandpa!" Juanjuan stretched out one of her little hands and held her, while holding Si Jinchen with the other.
Bailing saw that the distance was not far, so she said something to Shopkeeper Lu and took the two of them out of the shop.
There were a lot of cars and people on the road. Bailing pulled them and waited until there were no cars before jogging them across the street.
Juanjuan walked over to the old man huddled in the alley, stretched out her little hand and gently pushed him: "Grandpa."
The old man lowered his head, opened his eyes drowsily, and saw two beautiful children.
His voice was a little hoarse and unpleasant: "Is there something wrong?"
Juanjuan handed him the handkerchief containing the cake: "Grandpa, this is for you."
Bailing also took the coat and covered him with it: "The young master and the young lady saw that you were cold, so they asked someone to find a piece of clothing for you to wear to keep warm."
The old man felt warm, and the handkerchief in his hand and the clothes on his body were exceptionally clean.
He burst into tears and said thank you in a choked voice: "Thank you!"
"You're welcome." Juanjuan said and stood up, preparing to pull Si Jinchen back to the store.
When the old man saw the three people about to leave, he immediately called out to them, "Wait."
Bailing pulled the two children and turned to look at him: "Old man, is there anything else?"
The old man rubbed his dirty hands clean in the snow and took out something wrapped in blue cloth from his arms.
It looked like a book, but no one knew what it was.
"This is for you. I found it in a garbage dump. I saw it was wrapped up in a very rare way, so I kept it."
The old man said as he handed him to them.
"Grandpa, we can't take your things." Si Jinchen waved his hand to refuse.
"Grandpa has accepted your things as well. Consider this your thank you gift. It's useless to keep them with me. I might have to use them to wipe your ass someday." The old man said as he stuffed the things into his arms.
He stood up, put on his coat, and walked into the alley with the pastries that Juanjuan had given him.
Si Jinchen looked at his back, then lowered his head to look at the thing in his hand, and was at a loss for a moment.
Juanjuan tilted her head curiously to look at the thing in his hand: "Brother, what is this!"
"I don't know either. Let's go back and ask my second uncle." Si Jinchen pulled her and Bailing back to the store.
Si Tian was in the shop watching the three people coming over. When they entered, he asked seriously, "Didn't you say you would be obedient?"
"Why did you run away by yourself?"
Juanjuan immediately trotted over to his side: "Uncle, don't be angry, we saw a very pitiful grandfather."
"Yes, he was very pitiful, almost freezing to death, and curled up in the alley." Si Jinchen quickly explained: "If you don't believe me, you can ask Sister Bailing."
Bai Ling's scalp tingled when Si Tian looked at her: "Second Master, I saw it was just across the street, so I brought the young master and young lady over there."
Si Tian raised his hand and tapped the two children's heads gently: "Next time if you run around, I will really spank you."
Juanjuan immediately nodded in a servile manner: "Yeah, no."
"Uncle, this was given to us by the old man just now. We don't know what it is." Si Jinchen opened the blue cloth, and inside was a book that looked very old.
Si Tian couldn't understand the words on it, but he felt that the book was very old and was afraid that it would break if he exerted too much force.
"Second uncle, what book is this?" Si Jinchen came over curiously.
"I don't know either. I can't understand the words on it." Si Tian answered honestly.
Si Jinchen scratched his head: "Second uncle doesn't understand it either?"
"The characters on it are a bit old, not the font we recognize now." Si Tian wrapped the book carefully and prepared to take it back to read.
After finishing the store business, Si Tian took his two children to a Western restaurant.
I ordered pasta and small cakes for the two children, and they were both very happy.
Juanjuan looked at the fragrant and soft cake in front of her, her eyes sparkling with joy.
She picked up the small fork, poked a little bit of cream into her mouth, and her eyes lit up instantly.
Si Tian looked at her little face and felt that the braids on the back of her head were about to fly up and down: "Is it delicious?"
"It's delicious." Juanjuan squinted her eyes and nodded.
"Hey! Isn't this the second master of the Si family?" Liu Cheng'an spoke sarcastically.
Juanjuan looked at the person walking towards her. With his round head and round body, he looked like a round ball.
"Brother, why is there such a big ball here? And it can even talk."
Si Tian almost couldn't help laughing out loud: "Second Master Liu, why, you are the only one who can come to this restaurant, but I can't."
Liu Cheng'an was just about to teach Juanjuan a lesson when he heard his words and walked towards him angrily.
"Hey! The ball is rolling over here!" Juanjuan stared at him with wide eyes.
"Hey, little girl, how can you talk like that? How do I look like a ball?" Liu Cheng'an couldn't help but soften his tone when he saw her silly and cute look.
"Uncle, you are too fat. From a distance, you really look like a ball!" Juanjuan said in a low voice innocently.
"Mr. Liu, you are not here to cause trouble for these two children, are you?" Si Tian picked up the cup and took a sip of tea.
"How could I possibly cause trouble for two kids? I just happened to see you when I passed by, so I came to say hello." Liu Cheng'an looked like he was about to express his gratitude to me.
Si Tian looked at the two children opposite him: "Eat slowly, don't worry about him."
"I came to you with good intentions to tell you something, and this is your attitude?" Liu Cheng'an was so angry that his face turned red.
"What news do you have to tell me? Your Liu family hates us to death right now." Si Tian leaned casually on the back of the wheelchair.
"They are them, and I am me." Liu Cheng'an also disliked the Liu family.
"Tell me about it." Si Tian asked.
"That's your attitude! You don't even offer me a sip of tea?" Liu Cheng'an looked at him with such anger that his head hurt.
"Are you going to tell me or not? If not, leave." Si Tian also lost his patience.
