After leaving Tianyu Palace, Wu Yaohui returned to his own palace to change his clothes. He then went to the wall of the Cold Palace that had been bombed. Several guards were standing there, and they all knelt down when they saw the emperor. Wu Yaohui waved them away and inspected the wall inside and out. The more he looked, the stranger it seemed. How had the wall been blown open? What had been used to blow it open? It looked charred and had a pungent smell. Under the stone, the prince found some scraps of paper, smelled them, and found they had the same pungent smell.
The Crown Prince looked out of the city wall, a smile playing on his lips. He thought to himself, "Tian Yu, you really haven't disappointed me. Father was right. With you, Wu Kingdom can become strong. With this, I doubt anyone can threaten Wu Kingdom anymore. Che Kingdom will be Wu Kingdom's possession sooner or later. He didn't believe Wen Liang's words back then, but now it seems that whoever gets this woman can get the world."
Looking at the dark night sky, the prince sneered, "Trying to escape? Not so easy! You'll be back soon enough."
Under Prince Wu's arrangement, Tian Yu and her group successfully left the city and headed north. Zhao Moyan was in the north, and Prince Wu's fiefdom was also to the north. The group ran as fast as they could without delay. As dawn approached, the people in the carriage were exhausted and drifted off to sleep. They stopped at a tea stall, got out of the carriage to have some tea before continuing their journey, and Prince Wu said, "Once you leave the capital, someone will meet you. You'll be safer then."
"You? What does Your Highness mean?" Tian Yu asked, looking at Prince Wu with a puzzled expression.
"I'm not going to stay with you guys. Someone has to stay behind and clean up the mess!"
“The Emperor will kill you,” Tian Yu said.
"Brother, you should come with us!" the princess said.
"No, I promised my father that I would take good care of the Wu Kingdom. I can't just leave like this."
"But?" The princess wanted to say something, but swallowed it back when she saw the look in Prince Wu's eyes.
“Since Your Highness has made up your mind, we support you,” Tian Yu said.
“I will have my guards stay behind to protect you on the road ahead.”
"Your Majesty, the Emperor has always been very strange. You must be careful not to anger him," the princess warned worriedly.
"Don't worry! He won't do anything to me for now, and besides, the Third Prince and the Sixth Prince are here, so everything will be fine." Prince Wu glanced at the princess and Xiao Qi.
"Don't worry, I will take good care of them," Li Xingyun said, holding the princess's hand.
Prince Wu nodded and said, "Then I'll have to trouble you, Brother Li. You should hurry on your way, or the pursuers will catch up soon."
After a quick breakfast, the group packed up and prepared to get in the car and leave.
