He glanced at Joey, then looked around, but didn't see anyone else.
Was it you who knocked on the door?
The man stared at Joey and asked.
"Yes, it's me!"
Don't knock on the door unless it's absolutely necessary!
The person inside closed the small window after speaking, giving Joey no chance to speak at all.
"Bang bang bang!"
Joey suppressed her displeasure and knocked on the door again.
Bang!
"I already told you, don't..."
The man opened the small window again, intending to unleash a torrent of attacks on Joey, but was interrupted by the ten silver coins that appeared before him.
"Hehehe, what's up?"
He readily accepted the silver coins, and his gaze toward Joey became friendly.
"My name is Joey Brown, and I'm here to discuss a business deal with Mr. Leakins!"
Joey knew time was precious, and he had to make the most of those ten silver coins; there were some things he needed to say quickly.
"Looking for Lord Leakins?"
"I advise you to come back another time. Considering you're sensible, I'll give you some advice: Lord Leakins hasn't been in a good mood lately, so it's not a good time to discuss business!"
"Oh? Well, this deal is urgent, and it really can't be delayed!"
"After the Lord of the City summoned Lord Lykins to the City Lord's Mansion last time, he came back in a rage, and those Draenei people were no strangers to his anger. I think you'd better not provoke them!"
"Please pass on the message and say it's a big deal, he won't be disappointed!"
"Then you're putting me in a difficult position. I don't want to get into trouble!"
Joey understood from the doorman's expression; his forehead clearly bore the words, "More money needed."
Joey, being perceptive, handed over ten silver coins again.
"Hehehe, alright, I'll be a good guy and help you out, what can I say, I'm just a kind-hearted person!"
The man happily accepted the silver coin and closed the small window.
Judging from the footsteps coming from inside, he had already gone far away.
All Joey can do now is wait.
