A hissing sound rang out, and the Lin family members all looked at the light bulb. The bulb flickered a few times and then went out, plunging the room into darkness. No one could see that in the darkness, Lin Piaoxue's slightly upturned lips and eyes were filled with a smile.
With a crackling sound, a bolt of lightning struck the main hall of the Lin family with unstoppable force, instantly illuminating the hall. Lin Ming subconsciously looked at Lin Piaoxue and saw her still smiling, a smile that was filled with schadenfreude and a hint of malice.
Lin Ming's pupils trembled slightly. How could Piao Xue have such an evil smile? He must have seen wrong. Just as he tried to see clearly again, the room was plunged into darkness once more.
Lin Qing then said, "Dad, the house is leaking, what should we do?"
Mr. Lin was filled with frustration. It was so dark and raining heavily, there was nothing he could do!
"I have no choice but to bear with it! We'll talk about everything when it gets light," Lin's father said helplessly.
Lin's mother was worried that Lin Qing and the others would catch a cold from wearing wet clothes, so she said anxiously, "Eldest son, you should go back to your rooms and change your clothes first."
Lin Qing glanced at the entrance, said "Okay!" and walked towards the room.
Lin Piaoxue closed the door to the main room and said to her father and mother with concern, "Dad, you should go back to your room and change your dirty clothes. I'll go back to my room to rest first."

In the darkness, Lin's father sighed again, then turned on his flashlight, illuminating the room with a faint light.
Under the dim light, Lin's father looked at Lin's mother with mixed feelings.
Lin's mother angrily rebuked, "I didn't say anything wrong, why are you sighing like that? Really."
Mr. Lin gave Mrs. Lin a deep look, then walked heavily into the room.
