Chapter 47 [VIP]
"Um, wait a minute, I need to get ready." Pei Xingzhi's voice was broken and intermittent, clearly indicating that he was about to do something naughty. Xie Nanyi kept her eyes closed, pretending to be unaware of everything he was doing.
"I'm going to kiss you, so don't open your eyes!"
As Pei Xingzhi spoke, he suddenly felt a warm, wet touch on his cheek. He wasn't stupid enough to think that Pei Xingzhi was licking him, but he still refrained from opening his eyes.
"Oops, no, you kissed the wrong person! Don't lick my face!"
"Woof!"
Shh! Don't make a sound! Don't lick the wrong thing this time!
As soon as Wuyun finished licking him, Pei Xingzhi quickly picked him up and moved away from Xie Nanyi. He squatted in the corner and scolded him for his mistake. After confirming the target location with Wuyun, Pei Xingzhi picked up Wuyun and walked back to Xie Nanyi.
"You didn't open your eyes, did you? I accidentally kissed the wrong person just now. Let's do it again! Don't move this time!" Pei Xingzhi said, using a reason he himself didn't believe, continuing to force Xie Nanyi to endure the onslaught of dark clouds. Xie Nanyi nodded, indicating that she would obey Pei Xingzhi's orders.
Pei Xingzhi hugged Wuyun and moved closer to Xie Nanyi. Just as Wuyun's tongue was about to touch Xie Nanyi, Xie Nanyi suddenly grabbed Pei Xingzhi and pulled him into her arms.
Caught off guard, Pei Xingzhi was pulled over, and Wuyun, sandwiched between their chest muscles, kept making whimpering noises. Xie Nanyi had intended to take advantage of the situation, but seeing his precious darling being bullied, Pei Xingzhi suddenly found strength and pushed Xie Nanyi aside, patiently coaxing Wuyun while holding her in his arms.
Xie Nanyi was being bullied by a man and a dog, yet no one seemed to care.
He sat helplessly on the ground, looking at the man and dog who were glaring at him with resentment, and sighed bitterly.
"Xiao Zhi, you should be comforting me, shouldn't you?"
"Who wants to comfort you! If you hadn't suddenly pulled me just now, would Wuyun have been able to cry out!" Pei Xingzhi tenderly rubbed against Wuyun, who was rolling around in his arms. The little one was quite frightened by Xie Nanyi and was huddled in his arms, whimpering.
"If you hadn't used it to rub against me, I wouldn't have suddenly pulled you," Xie Nanyi tried to defend herself. Even if she couldn't elicit Pei Xingzhi's pity, she had to at least get his attention away from the dog in his arms. "I was hurt too when I fell..."
Pei Xingzhi looked at Wuyun in his arms, then at Xie Nanyi sitting on the ground, and said without any remorse, "It's all your fault for insisting on bringing up the kiss. If you hadn't said that, you wouldn't have fallen. So it's still your fault."
Xie Nanyi remained seated on the ground, looking up at the man and dog before him, displaying a sense of helplessness that often comes with a scholar facing a military general.
"Okay, it's my fault, it's my fault." Men should learn to admit their mistakes proactively.
"How did you get it in here?" Xie Nanyi got up by herself, patted off imaginary dust, and went to Pei Xingzhi to stroke the fur of the puppy in his arms.
"Its name is..."
“Its name is Wuyun! Everyone in the family has been busy lately, so I've had to feed it.” Pei Xingzhi became more talkative once Wuyun was mentioned. He handed Wuyun to Xie Nanyi, his eyes sparkling, and said, “Isn’t it cute!”
Wuyun was a puppy he found while working part-time during winter break. It and its mother were placed in a tattered cardboard box, which its previous owner had thrown into a garbage dump. Pei Xingzhi heard Wuyun's mother's cries while taking out the trash, and only after paying attention did he manage to pull it out of the garbage dump.
The cloud was only the size of a palm at that time, its eyes had just opened and were still stuck with something. The tiny creature rubbed against its mother beside it, unable to make a sound, unaware that its mother was slowly moving away from it, only instinctively knowing to snuggle into its mother's arms, rubbing against the last bit of warmth from its body.
The mother dog's body had probably been run over by something; her hind legs were only connected to her body by a layer of skin and flesh. Although she wasn't infested with maggots due to the cold winter weather, such severe injuries meant that even though Pei Xingzhi immediately took her to the hospital, they couldn't save her life.
Her howl nearly cost her her life, but it bought her child a chance to survive.
Wuyun's condition wasn't much better. Although it wasn't in immediate danger, it could develop some kind of serious illness at any time. Pei Xingzhi kept it by his side, carefully tending to it until it recovered. He had originally planned to send Wuyun to someone else's home, but when he saw the look in Wuyun's eyes, he suddenly felt a little reluctant to part with it.
Although he saved Wuyun, Wuyun's presence also alleviated much of his loneliness. Wuyun was like a spiritual anchor, gradually calming his fluctuating emotions and helping him to break free from the aftereffects of Xie Nanyi.
He had just brought Wuyun here the day before he was kidnapped, and was still figuring out how to avoid the dormitory supervisor's inspection when Xie Nanyi brought him back here. In the end, Xie Nanyi had done him a favor, at least he could take care of Wuyun in peace.
"Cute," Xie Nanyi agreed, but his eyes were fixed on Pei Xingzhi. This was probably the first time he realized that there might be some truth to the saying that pets resemble their owners.
"It's late, I'm going back to sleep."
The atmosphere fell silent instantly. The two looked at each other in bewilderment. Wuyun, the creature in Pei Xingzhi's arms, cried out. He turned his head away from Xie Nanyi's gaze, mumbled a few words, and headed towards his room.
"etc."
Xie Nanyi suddenly spoke, and Pei Xingzhi subconsciously stopped in his tracks. The next second, his arms were empty. Wu Yun was taken away by Xie Nanyi and locked in Pei Xingzhi's room. Pei Xingzhi didn't react for a moment and just stood there blankly watching Xie Nanyi leave and come back.
"You... um—"
Before Pei Xingzhi could speak, Xie Nanyi grabbed his hands, pulled him into her arms, and leaned down to kiss him.
Xie Nanyi's kiss was very awkward; he had no skill and was mostly following instinct. He tried to steal the kiss with his tongue, like the characters in TV dramas, but Pei Xingzhi bit him hard. He withdrew his tongue, turned to the side, pressed Pei Xingzhi against the wall, and continued to deepen the kiss without saying a word.
Their lips met, and Pei Xingzhi forgot to resist. His breathing gradually became erratic with the smacking sounds of water. Excessive excitement made Pei Xingzhi's eyes gradually become hazy, and his legs almost lost their strength. He was only able to stay upright because Xie Nanyi was supporting him.
Xie Nanyi had no kissing experience, but fortunately Pei Xingzhi was only venting verbally. The two equally matched people ended up kissing passionately.
After the kiss ended, Pei Xingzhi leaned weakly against Xie Nanyi and punched him in retaliation. Xie Nanyi, satisfied with the punch, licked his lower lip, which Pei Xingzhi had bitten, and then picked him up and carried him into his room.
Locked in the room, Wuyun saw her father being carried back by a strange man and angrily bit Xie Nanyi's trouser leg, howling loudly. Xie Nanyi put Pei Xingzhi on the bed, freed her own trouser leg from Wuyun's mouth, and placed Pei Xingzhi's precious penis next to him to sleep.
Realizing that the man meant no harm to his master, Wuyun stopped howling and quietly huddled beside Pei Xingzhi.
The owner and the dog were exactly alike, which Xie Nanyi couldn't help but find amusing. He covered Pei Xingzhi with the blanket and gave him a goodnight kiss before leaving.
"good evening."
"Idiot..." Pei Xingzhi was too weak to do anything but let Xie Nanyi do as she pleased. His body couldn't resist, but he could still talk.
Your kissing skills are terrible!
Xie Nanyi was not angered by his words. He smiled and seemed to be in a good mood.
"It's okay, I'll improve next time."
