"And what are you?"
Chu Ling's words were too outrageous, and Pei Xingzhi unconsciously raised his voice. Only after he said it did he realize that his reaction was too strong. Chu Ling pushed open the door and left. Pei Xingzhi's body slowly slid down the handrail and finally sat down on the stairs.

Wuyun jumped onto the bed and rubbed against his hand, whimpering and begging him to take her for a walk.

Wuyun sensed his emotions, barked once, turned around, jumped off the bed, and opened Pei Xingzhi's dormitory door with her years of experience in breaking and entering.
Pei Xingzhi had no interest in what Wu Yun was going to do; he was too tired and just wanted to sleep for a while.
Just as he was about to drift off to sleep, the howl of the dark cloud came again, followed by Xie Nanyi's voice.
"Dark Cloud, don't bite my trouser leg."
Wu Yun led Xie Nanyi into Pei Xingzhi's dormitory. Although the door was open, Xie Nanyi pretended to knock on the door before coming in.
"Xiao Zhi, what's wrong? Are you feeling unwell?" Xie Nanyi and Wu Yun huddled together next to Pei Xingzhi, their two fluffy heads rubbing against Pei Xingzhi's face from left to right.
Pei Xingzhi wanted to pretend to be asleep, but the two furry heads rubbed against his skin and made him itchy, so he couldn't help but push them away and sit up.
"What are you doing?" Pei Xingzhi glared at Xie Nanyi, then picked up Wuyun and shoved her into his arms. "Can't you see I want to sleep?! Get out of here!"
The man and the dog exchanged a glance under Pei Xingzhi's angry glare, and simultaneously gave him a fawning smile.
"Smiling and joking won't work, get out of here!"
The man and his dog were turned away again. Xie Nanyi stroked Wuyun's fur and said awkwardly, "Your mother doesn't want us anymore."
