After playing around like that, Su Chen didn't fall asleep until late at night.
The next morning, she was woken up by kisses. Bai Ze's lips pressed against hers repeatedly, and he was overjoyed to see she was awake. "I don't know how I fell asleep yesterday, look..."
Su Chen didn't give him a friendly look. She got up and said she had made an appointment to pick fruit with someone else. Ignoring Bai Ze's resentful expression, she went straight out the door.
"Wow, why are you here so early today?" Juan saw Su Chen push the door open and quickly pushed aside the male lion-man next to him.
Su Chen blushed and quickly turned her face away. "Well, Bai Ze is too clingy. I want to hide away."
"That's because they like you, why are you hiding?!" Juan didn't understand why she was hiding.
"Okay, let's go pick fruit. I want to learn how to climb trees today." Today, Su Chen made sure to wrap her limbs up tightly and even padded her elbows and knees with thick animal hides.
“Fine.” Juan glared again at the male lion-man who was clinging to her.
Su Chen knew that this lion-man was her partner. They had only been together for seven years. People say that seven years is the seven-year itch, but for the lion-man, seven years was just a blink of an eye. They were still newlyweds.
“Let’s go.” Juan put on an animal skin and walked over barefoot.
"Hmm." Su Chen nodded and glanced at her feet. There was no bleeding from the pebbles on the soles of her feet, because they were covered with thick calluses.
Su Chen looked at her feet and saw that she was still wearing space boots. If the weather got any hotter, she wouldn't be able to wear them anymore. She should make a new pair of shoes from animal hides and sinews.
Her adoptive brother completely abandoned her, leaving her to fend for herself without ever bringing her food or clothing again.
"Su Chen, which planet are you from?" Juan asked affectionately, holding her hand.
Su Chen didn't hide anything, "Clover Star has become an abandoned planet."
Juan thought for a long time, but she couldn't recall ever hearing about Clover Star. "So you and your people came to settle in Lionheart Kingdom?"

Su Chen smiled at her. Actually, Lionheart Kingdom is pretty good except for its underdeveloped technology and medical skills. The air is fresh and the environment is good, making it especially suitable for retirement.
Juan quietly walked to a secluded spot, pulled Su Chen aside, and whispered, "I'll tell you a secret, but Bai Ze isn't actually from Lionheart Kingdom either."
