Chapter 219 Night Visit to the Vampire Clan (Part 4)

Her long, golden hair cascaded down to her ankles, shimmering brilliantly in the candlelight. Her emerald eyes were like the most beautiful waters of Jiangnan in spring, captivating with every glance. With a high nose, thin lips, and deep-set eyes, her features were strikingly defined; even with such long hair, she possessed not a trace of effeminacy.

Su Chen asked quietly, "System, is this the villainous boss?"

"It shouldn't be... right...?" Even the system couldn't be sure.

Su Chen looked at the woman beside the bed, not knowing whether she was dead or alive.

"You want some too?" Count Polidori noticed the newlyweds' eyes glancing at the "food" on the bed.

Su Chen shook her head like a rattle drum, "No, no... I don't want to."

Count Polidori handed the woman his wrist. "Don't be shy."

Su Chen refused; her whole body resisted.

She had just accepted that she was a vampire, but she couldn't bring herself to drink human blood right away.

Count Polidori saw that she really didn't want to drink blood, so he didn't force her. "Take her to get acquainted with the other people, and clean up that empty room on the third floor for her to live in."

"Yes, Earl, have a good evening." Tommy clasped his hands together in front of his chest, looking very devout.

Su Chen followed his example, folding her hands as she left the room.

As soon as he stepped outside, Tommy praised, "You did a great job."

"What?" What's done well?

“That person was food marked by the Earl; only the Earl can drink her blood,” Tommy explained.

"Oh..." So that's how it is. I'm so glad I didn't force myself to have a bite because of their hospitality, or I might not even have my head left by now.

"I'll show you around." Tommy took her hand and led her to the smallest lobby on the first floor.

Tommy pointed to the vampire statue with fangs and said, "This statue is Cain, the progenitor of all vampires."

Then he led her to the stained glass, saying, "These are Cain's experiences as a vampire."

"Adam broke off one of his ribs and became Eve. Tempted by the serpent, Adam and Eve ate the forbidden fruit and had a son named Cain. Later they had another son, who was Cain's brother, named Abel."

Su Chen nodded as she looked at the two infants on the first piece of glass.

"When the two boys grew up, they both offered sacrifices to the Lord. Cain's sacrifice was fruits and vegetables, while Abel's sacrifice was a sheep. Naturally, the Lord preferred the sheep, so he showed favoritism towards Abel."

“Cain was not happy, and one day in the field he accidentally killed Abel. Abel’s spirit cried out to the Lord, and the Lord was angry and banished him to a place where he wandered.”

Su Chen sighed as she saw the withered figure lingering on the glass.

"Later, he met an incredibly beautiful woman who taught him how to use blood to make himself powerful."

Tommy glanced at Su Chen. "This woman is Lilith."

Su Chen exclaimed in surprise, "Lilith? So the alias you gave me is Lilith?"

Tommy: "Yes and no. You have a blend of Lilith's beauty and eerie innocence. But you don't have her true essence."

Su Chen: ...So he was praising me? Or belittling me?

Tommy continued, "Later, Cain couldn't bear the loneliness and created the second generation of vampires, who in turn created the third generation. That's how the vampire race grew powerful."
