“Tommy…” Su Chen murmured.
Tommy put the veil back on. "This woman cannot be kept."
"I will hide her away, and no one will find out," Su Chen pleaded.
"You're going to hide her with the vampire hunters?" Tommy turned his gaze to Arthur, who was on high alert.
Su Chen nodded.
"Did they give you any trouble?" Tommy's voice trembled slightly.
Su Chen shook her head. Strange... her nose felt a little sore.
"If it makes things difficult for you, I'll risk my life to save you!" These words were spoken to Su Chen, to himself, and also to the young man with the knife behind him.
Su Chen nodded, tears streaming down her face uncontrollably.
