Chapter 7 Your son is fine, now mine

Emperor Xiu carried the egg into a silver room similar to the one on the starship. He looked up into the void and said, "Contact Chaos Dragon Bai Hao."

“Drip… drip.”

"Long time no see, Xiao Xiu~"

A ruffian yet magnetic voice sounded, and a man with black hair and golden eyes appeared in front of the screen.

"Want to fight?" A cold voice interrupted the complicated greeting.

"Tsk, so heartless. Why are you texting your brother? Do you miss me?" Bai Hao held his heart with one hand and wiped away non-existent tears with the other.

"Show me your dragon cub's room." Di Xiu was too lazy to talk nonsense with this guy and went straight to the point.

"Why are you looking in his room? Wait, did you lay an egg? Whose is it?"

Bai Hao noticed that Di Xiu was holding a black egg. Although he couldn't be sure whether it was a dragon egg through the screen, the size and color looked like one.

He came right in front of the screen in surprise, revealing a big face. Fortunately, he was handsome enough, otherwise this fatal angle would be enough to suffocate Long.

Looking at where Bai Hao's gaze was, Di Xiu knew that this man must have misunderstood. He was too lazy to explain. Thinking that he did have a son now, he just raised the corners of his mouth and answered him in a very good mood.

"Yes, I have a son."

!!!

Bai Hao looked at the brilliant smile on the face of Emperor Xiu, who was holding the "dragon egg" on the screen. His blue eyes flashed with joy, and his smile was as refreshing as the sea breeze.

She immediately covered her chest and muttered in an exaggerated manner: "Damn, you didn't smile often before, it's different now that you have a son."

"Why am I different?"

"You don't love me anymore now that you have a son." She pretended to wipe away her tears.

He rolled his eyes at the drama queen across the screen and urged her, "Hurry up! Communication consumes a lot of energy."

"Yes, Master Xiu."

Bai Hao whispered to himself while bringing the screen to Jing Xia's bedroom on the second floor.

As soon as you open the door, you can see golden sunlight shining through the window onto the moon-white bed. The breeze blows the white curtains. Under the bed is a large light-colored plush carpet with a few animal-shaped dolls.

On the wall next to the bed there is a painting made of dragon scales, showing a black dragon soaring with its wings spread.

On the floor near the window, a play area was created using dragon coins. A thin iron plate, covered in scratches, was placed on it, from the tender claws of young dragons to those of slightly larger ones. A lavender sachet, supposedly meant for sleep, hung by the bed.

A pair of big hands took off the sachet, and Bai Hao's voice sounded outside the screen.

"I almost forgot to take it out and put it away. This sachet was made by Jiuhuai's fox. It is said to help cubs sleep. It seems to have no smell now."

Di Xiu tapped the egg lightly with his fingers, not caring whether he could get the cub inside the egg or not, he was only concerned with memorizing the decoration layout of Jing Xia's room.

"Okay, that's all. Yours is still an egg, so do you need to prepare some things for when it hatches?" asked the old father Bai Hao with concern.

"No need." The cub in this egg doesn't need it either. It's for another cub.

"You're such a bad father. When my cub was first born, I prepared so much for him. For example, Kui milk powder, etc...."

Bai Hao seemed to have opened up, wanting to show his fatherly love for his son to his long-time friend.

Di Xiu looked at Bai Hao in surprise, his mind full of Jing Xia's complaints about his father:

How about being thrown into lava to bathe right after hatching, supposedly to strengthen his dragon scales? How about being taken to fight with the Phoenix cubs next door just as he could walk? How about being thrown directly into the air gap just as he learned to fly, completely forgetting that the energy pressure above the gap is like a jack for the cubs...

The final result was that Bai Hao knelt on a washboard made of rare iron for a long time while being watched by Jing Xia's mother.

"I've finished reading it, I'm hanging up." Listening to someone's endless chatter, Di Xiu couldn't help but hang up the phone.

"Hey, I haven't finished yet..."

Wiping the sweat off his forehead, Di Xiu recalled the decorations in Jing Xia's room. Everything else was easy to deal with, except for the dragon scale puzzle and Jiu Huai's sachet.

Judging from the dragon scales, they might be the young scales that Jingxia shed during the molting period, and Jiuhuai couldn't contact him during the mission.

Di Xiu placed an order for other items on Starnet and chose express delivery at twice the price.

After the arrival, he held the egg in one hand and the light pen in the other and directed the robot to start decorating the bedroom on the second floor. He took out a pile of dragon coins and started to piece together the floor. The remaining scraps were melted directly with dragon flames and re-molded into several dragon models.

After the bed and other furniture were decorated, he took out the strange rabbit blanket that he had stored in the space before.

At first glance, the blanket is pure white, but the tips of the hair are actually purple. If you stroke it along the line, it will turn light purple, and if you stroke it against the line, it will turn white. It is also very soft and comfortable to touch. It was given to Emperor Xiu by a family of strange rabbits whom he accidentally rescued when he was on a mission in an oriental world.

The strange rabbit is good at weaving dreams, giving people nightmares and good dreams, and is also good at making various woven fabrics and silks.

At the beginning, a sect that happened to be the target of the Emperor's mission, because they were greedy for the various exquisite rabbit fur silks and cloths woven by the strange rabbit, spread the word to others that the strange rabbit was a monster that harmed people.

However, when the sect was preparing to encircle and annihilate the Guitu family, it was directly disrupted by Emperor Xiu.

The rescued Weird Rabbit family presented Emperor Xiu with a blanket made of their softest neck hair. This blanket alone could be exchanged for thousands of high-level spirit stones in the world at that time.
