Chapter 1: Gap and Tasker

The man squinted slightly as he gazed out the window. A gentle breeze drifted through the courtyard, rustling the leaves. The koi in the pond chased and played, occasionally leaping out of the water. Amidst this warm atmosphere, the azure sky above the villa suddenly distorted, and a crack slowly opened.

"Don't sleep any more. The gap has been opened for you. Let's get going soon and finish it sooner."

The man turned around and saw a person wrapped even more tightly on the big bed. A dangerous glint flashed in his gilded pupils.

"Hey, didn't they say the rift would last for three whole days? Let me sleep a little longer..." The young man murmured intermittently.

The man raised his eyebrows and walked forward to pick up the person and the quilt. He strode to the window, facing the crack in the sky, and weighed the quilt in his arms.

"?" came from Tuanzi's doubt.

"What are you going to do?!" Jing Xia had a bad feeling in his heart.

The man grinned at the young man in his arms.

"Let dear dad give you a ride"

As he spoke, he threw the man up, turned around and whipped the tail that appeared behind him, and the boy flew straight towards the crack in the air that had just opened a little.

"!!! Bai Hao, you disrespectful old man, just wait for me..."

"Tsk, no respect for elders."

Clapping his hands, Bai Hao turned his eyes to look at the crack, smiled and bent down to make a gesture of seeing someone off: "Okay, the person has been sent over, you can close it now."

The newly opened gap in the sky seemed to be confused by what had just happened, causing the white clouds to flip over and over as the space twisted, and finally slowly closed, allowing the blue sky to return to its original appearance.

After shaking the black dragon tail behind him and sending away the blow from his own son, Bai Hao felt even happier. He ran to the kitchen on the first floor and excitedly shouted into the kitchen: "Wife, now it's just the two of us."

Since Bai Hao had great confidence in his own child, he was not worried at all about where his son would go or what dangers he would encounter after passing through the gap. He thought that any dangers might come from those ungrateful people in that world.

But he didn't know that the boy fainted after being hit, because the speed was too fast and he didn't have time to adapt to the new rules of the world.

After all, no one expected that a tasker would be directly hit by a crack. Others who left the crack and went to a new world had to slowly pass through the crack corridor, adapting to the power and rules of the new world bit by bit.
