Chapter 35

Chapter 35

"who?"

The perceptive boy noticed the prying eyes of others, and his wide-open emerald eyes were full of vigilance and panic.

"Hello, classmate. I'm from the Hyotei Student Council. I followed our president to look for President Katakura, but I'm a little late. I seem to have lost my way."

Nakamori Akimi stepped out of the shadows and began to rationally process his experience with a friendly smile.

"From Hyotei?" His eyes swept over her, the wariness in his eyes gradually fading. "From the student council, and the president is Atobe Keigo?"

"Yes, classmate, do you know our president?"

"I know him." Kirihara Akaya scratched his head and secretly hid the test paper in his hand behind him.

Nakamori Akimi, who saw through everything, pretended not to notice. "That's great! Could you please show me the way?"

Kirihara Akaya, who had just arrived at the high school a few months ago and didn't even recognize anyone, said: "I, I..."

He looked around helplessly and pointed in a random direction, "Over there?"

"I just came from that side."

Kirihara Aka's face turned red. He squatted on the ground in despair, covered his ears and shouted, "I don't know, go ask someone else!"

When he covered it up like this, the paper in his hand was exposed again.

Since we've come across someone, we might as well give it a try. Maybe we can get other people's information.

The black-hearted Nakamori Akimi rolled his eyes and squatted in front of him.

"Classmate, do you want to improve your English grades? Maybe I can help you."

After hearing this, Nakamori Akimi felt that she was just like those unscrupulous institutions that sold courses, deceiving children.

"You?" Kirihara Akaya finally looked up at her, his big eyes full of distrust towards her.

In response, Nakamori Akimi gave his most sincere smile.

"I understand, I finally understand!" Kirihara Akaya jumped three feet high, "I will definitely pass the next midterm exam! I can finally participate in the competition!"

Compared to the extremely excited Kirihara Akaya, Nakamori Akimi seemed quite calm, and she was mainly cold-hearted.

His abysmal handwriting and abysmal grades... Pass? Who on earth could possibly give him a passing grade?

She spent half an hour explaining an attributive clause before this guy could barely understand. She used to teach philosophy and it was so easy to understand! She used to think she had some talent for teaching, but she didn't expect it was all thanks to her good students.

"Kirihara-san, I think you might..."

Nakamori Akimi wanted to kindly remind him, but the next second he took out his phone.

"Kirihara Akaya, where have you been?!"

As soon as he answered the phone, the powerful voice from the other end poured into his ears through the phone. Kirihara Akaya shuddered and almost shook like a piece of seaweed.

"Deputy, Deputy Minister!"

Genichiro Sanada?

Nakamori Akimi shut up silently and pricked up his ears.

"How could you run out in the middle of explaining the test? That's so rude! Have you ever thought about how Renji feels?"

"Senior Liu...should be very happy, right?"

What Kirihara Akaya said carefully made Nakamori Akimi almost laugh, but you have to admit, he would probably be really happy.

The other side choked at such a self-aware response, "Anyway, you're really too lax, Akaye. Get back here right now!"

"I, I, I, I'll be right there!" Suddenly he remembered something and glanced back at Nakamori Akimi. "Um, Vice Minister, do you know how to get to the Student Union Office from the grove next to the library?"

"What?"

He changed the subject too quickly and Genichirō Sanada had trouble following.

"It's just balabala..." Kirihara Akaya quickly explained.

"Wait a minute, Liu Sheng is in the library. I'll ask him to find you."

With a beep, the phone was hung up.

"Alright, Nakamori-senpai, Vice Minister Sanada has asked Yagyu-senpai to come see us. Once Yagyu-senpai arrives, you can go to the Student Council. He's the Discipline Committee member!"

"Sanada-san."

"Hey? Nakamori-senpai, do you know the deputy director?"

"We've been to a concert together before, but the Sanada-san back then seemed a little different from the one I just spoke to. The Sanada-san on the phone was a little scary."

With a hint of suggestion, Nakamori Akimi spoke slowly.

"No! Vice Minister Sanada is not usually like that!"

Like a child eager to vindicate his parents, Kirihara Akaya listed several of Sanada Genichirō's strengths, such as being honest and reliable, having excellent grades, etc., and there didn't sound anything unusual.

"Okay, I know you admire your deputy minister. I misunderstood."

Nakamori Akimi quickly interrupted him. She saw someone coming over. As expected, it should be Yagyu Hiroshi, followed by someone else.

"Hey, Chiye, I heard that Liu was teaching, but you ran away in the middle of it?"

"Senior Niou, why are you here?"

Kirihara Akaya was shocked, and he crumpled the paper in his hand and hid it tightly.

"What are you hiding? Let me see."

"Nio-senpai!"

Niou Masaharu knew exactly what it was and tried to grab it teasingly, but Kirihara Akaya dodged and fell in front of Nakamori Akimi.

Niou Masaharu...

Nakamori Akimi curled the corners of his lips and greeted politely, "Hello, Niou-san."

A hint of surprise flashed in his silver-blue eyes. Niou Masaharu's eyes narrowed and he stood up straight. "Hello, classmate of Hyotei."

"Stop it, Niou. I'm going to take this Nakamori-san to the student council. You can take Akaya back."

Yagyu Hiroshi turned to look at Nakamori Akimi, "Hello, Nakamori, I'm Yagyu Hiroshi. I'll take you to the student union."

"Thank you, Yagyu-san." Nakamori Akimi looked at the two people in front of him, "Well, goodbye, Kirihara-san, Niou-san."

She smiled and nodded goodbye, then walked past Niou Masaharu.

As they passed by, the man's eyes moved slightly, following the figure of Nakamori Akimi, his expression difficult to discern.

"Wait." He suddenly said, tilting his head lazily towards them, "Nakamori-san, I'll take you there."

"Nio?" Yagyu Hiroshi's tone was quite cold, "Don't do anything unnecessary."

"Oh, it's so unfair, partner. I didn't mean to do this either, but look, does Akagi want to go back with me?"

He drew out his words lazily, and the person he named immediately shook his head frantically at Yagyu Hirosu, and it was obvious that he was very unwilling.

"Okay then. I'll take Akaya back. Nakamori-san, I'll leave the rest of the journey to you, just follow Niou."

Yagyu Hiroshi walked towards him, and Niou Masaharu also walked over.

When the two passed each other, Yagyu Hiroshi paused slightly and said something in Niou Masaharu's ear.

It should be a simple reminder. Nakamori Akimi saw Niou Masaharu nodded indifferently, then stood in front of her.

"Let's go, Nakamori-san."

He left first, and Nakamori Akimi followed suit.

It was very quiet along the way. Niou Masaharu was leading the way in front, looking lazy and listless.

Behind him, Akimi Nakamori was observing him quietly. She scanned him from head to toe. From his words and actions just now, there was nothing unusual, but it was very strange that such a person offered to take her to the student union.

"We're here. The student council president's office is on the second floor. I won't go in, Nakamori-san."

The two arrived at their destination safely, and the process was incredibly smooth.

"Thank you Niou-san for showing me the way. Thank you for your help."

"It's just a small matter, not a big deal. I'll be leaving now."

Niou Masaharu didn't seem to want to stay any longer. He shrugged and turned away without any reluctance.

"Wait, Niou-san, I was just about to ask, have we met before?"

Nakamori Akimi asked tentatively.

"Huh?" Niou Masaharu raised his eyebrows in surprise and jokingly said, "Nakamori-san, this way of chatting up is outdated, puri~"

"It seems that Niou-san doesn't have any impression of me. It seems that I recognized the wrong person. Sorry." Nakamori Akimi lowered his head in a depressed tone. "I won't waste your time, Niou-san. Go back quickly. Goodbye."

Without waiting for Niou Masaharu's reply, she turned and walked into the building.

Behind her, the silver-haired boy tugged at the pigtail on the back of his head thoughtfully, and the mole at the corner of his mouth extended upward along the curved arc.

"Your acting is quite good, Miss Liar~"
