Chapter 6: Pre-ordering your next life
Lu Xiuyuan's expression changed slightly, very subtly, to the point that it was almost imperceptible unless one looked closely.
His tone softened slightly: "Qianyu, I've been a bit busy lately. I have a meeting early tomorrow morning. Can we go get our marriage certificate in a few days?"
Shen Qianyu already knew what he was going to say, but she was still unwilling to give up and insisted on asking him again.
She lowered her eyelashes, making it impossible for him to discern her emotions: "Okay, it's getting late, you should go back and rest."

Lu Xiuyuan pulled her hand over and made her sit on his lap.

Lu Xiuyuan assumed she wasn't angry anymore, and as usual, he affectionately pinched her little nose and patted her back.
