Chapter 5: Shall we go get our marriage certificate?
When I woke up again, I was still in the hospital.
In just two days, Shen Qianyu has been to the hospital twice.
Another thing was the same as last time: Fu Yanci was still in her hospital room.
But unlike last time, Fu Yanci had one hand on his other arm, where there was adhesive tape and cotton wool.
The assistant beside him said with concern, "Mr. Fu, why did you draw so much blood from Miss Shen all at once? Miss Shen..."
"Shut up! Get out!"
The assistant wanted to say something, but seeing Fu Yanci like this, he had no choice but to turn away and leave. That's when he saw Shen Qianyu wake up.
"Miss Shen?"
Shen Qianyu was stunned by her assistant's words and looked at Fu Yanci in disbelief: "You gave me a blood transfusion?"
Fu Yanci lowered the hand, and before that, he simply peeled off the tape and cotton swabs, saying as if nothing had happened:
"Don't listen to his nonsense. I haven't been feeling well lately and I'm getting injections at the hospital."
Shen Qianyu noticed that the assistant who had reached the door stiffened for a moment, as if he wanted to say something. Fu Yanci glared at him fiercely, and the assistant left.
Looking away, Fu Yanci turned to her: "Why would I donate blood for you for no reason? Do you think I'm just bored and have nothing better to do?"
No sooner had the words left his mouth than a nurse rushed over with a bread roll and a bag of milk.
“Mr. Fu, why did you leave so quickly? Even if you had given Miss Shen a blood transfusion, she wouldn’t have woken up so quickly. You even forgot to take these two things.”
Fu Beichen looked extremely embarrassed, his face dark and gloomy.
His imposing manner was so strong that even the young nurse was frightened.

Shen Qianyu looked at Fu Yanci with emotion.

As she spoke, Shen Qianyu raised both arms, striking a pose that made her look very powerful.

Fu Yanci quickly helped her up.
This was the first time Shen Qianyu had ever fallen into the arms of a man other than Lu Xiuyuan.
Unlike Lu Xiuyuan's embrace, Fu Yanci truly gave people a sense of security and comfort.
Every time she was in Lu Xiuyuan's arms, she seemed to see no future.
"I think we should skip it today and wait for another day..."
Just as Fu Yanci was about to speak, he saw Lu Xiuyuan carrying Lin Weixia out of the ward.
From beginning to end, Lu Xiuyuan didn't glance in this direction even once.
Lin Weixia wore a happy smile, as if Shen Qianyu had never existed between them.
Fu Yanci glanced at Shen Qianyu, who forced a smile.

After dinner, Shen Qianyu went home.
With fourteen days left before she has to complete the paperwork for going abroad, she should come back and tell her parents so they can prepare in advance.
When she arrived home, she didn't see her parents. Instead, she went to her room and saw Lu Xiuyuan sitting on the single sofa.
He sat there like a king, making the already small room seem much dimmer.
Shen Qianyu was taken aback, seemingly not expecting him to be there. He had just taken Lin Weixia home; shouldn't they be in their new house?
What are those?
Lu Xiuyuan glanced at the things on the ground that had been cleaned up but hadn't been thrown away yet.
To prevent him from noticing anything, Shen Qianyu quickly put the document away.
"It's nothing, I just think these are too old, I don't want them anymore."
Lu Xiuyuan's voice softened a bit: "Alright, whatever you want, I can buy it for you again. I came here to tell you that Weiwei has no intention of pursuing the matter with you anymore."
Shen Qianyu wanted to laugh again, but didn't. She looked up at Lu Xiuyuan.
"Lu Xiuyuan, shall we go to the Civil Affairs Bureau to get our marriage certificate tomorrow?"
