Chapter 81 Are you looking forward to Huo Yao coming again?
After the old lady woke up, Huo Yao went back to the Huo family.
It was just after eight in the morning when she got back. Although it was a little later than her usual morning run, Song Ning, who had no idea her daughter was not at home all night, did not suspect anything and just thought she had exercised a few more laps today.
Huo Yao did not say anything. She went back to her room, took a quick shower, and changed into clean clothes. Then she took out a box from the closet, opened it, and found a water blue porcelain bottle from among the dozen or so bottles and jars inside.
After putting the porcelain bottle into her bag, she went downstairs without any further delay, without even having breakfast. She briefly mentioned the old lady's matter to Song Ning, rejected her request to visit her, and left in a hurry.
Twenty minutes later, Huo Yao returned to the hospital.
However, when she just walked to the door of the ward and saw He Xiaoman, Lu Xia and a boy who looked to be about fifteen years old in the ward, she subconsciously stopped.
"Mom, you said you were sick but you didn't tell me. If the nanny hadn't called me today, I wouldn't have known about it." He Xiaoman pressed her eyebrows, but out of concern for the old lady's health, she didn't dare say anything too harsh.
Yang Qiuhua was leaning against the head of the bed, her face pale, and she didn't seem to welcome the people in the room. Her expression was cold and indifferent.
"I'm fine now. There are doctors and nurses here. I don't need your care. You can go now."
She didn’t know when her Yaoyao would come back. If she ran into them, wouldn’t she be bullied by them again?
He Xiaoman was furious when she heard the old lady's words. "Knowing that you were sick, Xia Xia and Zi Ming came to the hospital to see you. Why do you have to be so unkind?"
Yang Qiuhua just looked out the window and said nothing.
He Xiaoman got a headache when she saw this. She didn't understand why this old lady could be so argumentative.
"Mom, please say less. Grandma's body can't stand any stimulation." Lu Xia walked up to her and shook his head at her.
Then, Lu Xia looked at the old lady again, his eyes slightly turned, he moved the chair next to him, sat down in front of her bed, gently held the old lady's hand, and said softly: "Grandma, don't be angry with mom, she just cares about you."
After all, one should not hit a smiling person, not to mention that Lu Xia is her granddaughter. Yang Qiuhua turned her head, and although her expression was still cold, it was obviously not as stiff anymore.
"I'm fine. You can take your mother and your brother back." As Yang Qiuhua spoke, he pulled his hand out without leaving a trace.
Lu Xia retracted her fingers, with the gentle smile on her face still intact, "Doctors and nurses cannot take care of us as well as our family members."
Upon hearing this, Yang Qiuhua subconsciously became a little excited: "But I don't need it, I have Yao..." Halfway through her words, she realized that she almost let the cat out of the bag, so she quickly stopped talking.
However, He Xiaoman had already heard something, "Are you looking forward to Huo Yao coming again?"
Yang Qiuhua looked elsewhere, "What can you do? You bullied her so much last time!"
He Xiaoman was so angry that she laughed, "I bullied her? Why did I drive her away? Don't you have any idea?" She shook her head speechlessly, and then changed the subject and said, "Okay, you defend her so much, but you are sick now, does she know? Did she come to the hospital to take care of you?"
He Xiaoman pointed at Lu Xia and said, "She didn't have any, so please look carefully. The one who came to take care of you is Xia Xia, and the one who came to see you is also Xia Xia. She is your real granddaughter!"
