Chapter 385 Blood Debt Pays Off (2/2)

When the jailer came to deliver the message, she happened to be at the Shen family's house. She was about to talk to Shen Chang about Shen Xiwei when she saw him frowning and looking annoyed. So she offered to share his worries and help him out:

"Father is very busy, shall I go in his place?"

Shen Chang breathed a sigh of relief. He really didn't want to see the Fang mother and daughter. One of them had cheated on him, and the other had made him lose face. He felt ashamed whenever he mentioned them!

Shen Tang would rather go on his own initiative than be a hands-off manager.

Fang stood there stunned for a long time. She never expected that Shen Chang would be so heartless as to refuse to even see her!

After a long moment of stunned silence, she suddenly gave a bitter laugh, her laughter tinged with a hint of desolation: "Shen Chang, how cruel you are!"

Shen Tangning frowned slightly: "Aunt, please don't get agitated. You can tell me what's on your mind." She glanced at Shen Xiwei subtly, her tone gentle, "The same goes for Second Sister. I'll try my best to fulfill any wishes you may have."

Shen Xiwei's expression stiffened, and she quickly realized what was going on. She gave a weak and feeble smile and said, "Stop being so hypocritical. You must be very happy to see me end up like this!"

She suddenly remembered something, narrowed her eyes, and blurted out incredulously, "It's you!"

Shen Tangning looked surprised: "What do you mean by that, little sister?"

Shen Xiwei's chest heaved violently as he stared intently at her: "You told me that as long as the Lady of the Marquis was seriously ill, I would have a chance to become the Heir Apparent's wife. You instigated me to attack the Lady of the Marquis!"

After she finished speaking, she felt extremely cold all over. Shen Tangning had actually set a trap for her so early on, and she had foolishly jumped into it!

Aunt Fang looked surprised and looked up at Shen Tangning.

She stopped smiling, looked down at the two of them, and said in a light tone, "Is that so? Second sister, do you have any evidence? You can't just say things like that without any proof."

Shen Xiwei's face stiffened; she really didn't have any evidence!

Upon careful recollection, Shen Tangning always subtly induced her when no one was around, without any witnesses or physical evidence.

Her heart skipped a beat, and she suddenly realized how terrifying this woman was!

Aunt Fang firmly believed that she knew her own daughter well. If she hadn't been instigated by someone, how could Xiwei have dared to do such a rebellious thing?

She glared fiercely at the culprit, then suddenly lunged at her to strangle her: "Shen Tangning, how could you be so vicious? Xiwei is your own sister!"

Shen Tangning calmly took two steps back, watching her pounding on the prison door with a ferocious expression, and a mocking smile appeared on her lips: "Auntie must be mistaken, my mother only gave birth to me as her daughter."

Aunt Fang's eyes were practically bloodshot: "You can't do this to her! What did she ever do to you? Why are you trying to kill her!"

"What have you done to offend me?"

Upon hearing this, Shen Tangning couldn't help but laugh out loud. Although she was laughing, her eyes revealed a chilling ferocity: "Blood for blood, life for life!"

Shen Xiwei and Fang Shi harmed her, as did her mother and Aci. She was simply retaliating in kind, how fair!

The two men, of course, couldn't understand her words. They just stared at her with hatred, their eyes filled with a desire to skin her alive, and they kept cursing, "Chen Tangning, you'll die a horrible death! I'll haunt you even as a ghost!"

These words had no effect on Shen Tangning. She glanced one last time at Shen Xiwei on the ground, her eyes cold, and gave an ambiguous smile:

"My second sister is luckier than me; at least she'll have someone to keep her company on her journey to the underworld!"

After saying that, she turned and left without looking back.

Aunt Fang stared intently in the direction she had left, her eyes brimming with hatred, and muttered fiercely:

"I won't let you go! If we're going to die, we'll all die together, hahaha..."
