Chapter 381: Lord of the Underworld

Bai Wei looked at the woman's face.

This is a woman of average appearance. She is not pretty, but not ugly either. However, she gives people a very friendly feeling.

It is exactly the same as the statue behind Bai Wei.

"Hello, Mr. Visas," the woman greeted with a chuckle.

Bai Wei also smiled: "Hello, Lord of the Underworld."

After the two finished speaking, the church immediately fell into a long silence.

Bai Wei was looking at Ming Tu, and Ming Tu was also looking at Bai Wei. Although they both had smiles on their faces like old friends meeting each other, the solemn atmosphere in the air made the confused Zoe feel that something was wrong.

In the end, it was the Lord of the Underworld who took the lead in trying to break the silence: "I didn't..."

But before she could finish her words, she heard hurried footsteps behind her.

After a while, a middle-aged man with untidy beard and angry face rushed in.

"Again! Again!" he cried. "I've already told you that the church is closed before the Blossom of Souls! Are you an idiot who doesn't understand me?"

"Ah, sorry, Hoggs." A hint of apology appeared in the gentle eyes of the Lord of the Underworld, "We have guests coming today."

"Why do you insist on using the church to entertain guests? You have to understand that I am the priest here! You are just the administrator I hired to watch the door! Then you have to be obedient to me!" The man continued to yell, "Otherwise, return the key to me and get out of here!"

"I'm sorry, Hogs." The Lord of the Underworld apologized again, "There won't be a next time, I can promise. But I do have something to do now, can you please give me a moment?"

Seeing the Lord of the Underworld say this, the middle-aged man stopped pestering him and just snorted coldly: "I hope you can keep your word and quickly end this meaningless conversation, and then lock this damn door! Don't disturb the Lord's peace!"

After saying this, the middle-aged man turned around and left, slamming the door.

Then the church returned to silence again, but the atmosphere was no longer as tense as before.

"There was a little accident." The Lord of the Underworld shrugged, "I thought he was not here today."

Bai Wei looked at the closed door and said, "I originally thought that the dead here were all very kind, but now it seems that there are exceptions."

"Is this the first question you asked?" The Lord of the Underworld smiled. "Most people here are very kind, but he is an exception... Well, his situation is the same as the little girl next to you, his soul is not complete. As a result, he still doesn't know that this is the afterlife, and he is still doing his work day after day. Yes, he was one of my priests when he was alive, and his personality is indeed very bad, but please believe that he is a good person."

"Whether he is a good person or not has nothing to do with me." Bai Wei turned his gaze to the Lord of the Underworld again, "But

He doesn’t seem to know who you are.”

"Indeed." The Lord of the Underworld nodded slightly, "My name here is Lynn, you can call me that too."

"Is this your special hobby?" Bai Wei asked, "God's house-playing game?"

"Do you think so?"

"Otherwise, I can't think of any other possibilities." Bai Wei said calmly, "But you are so devoted to this game that you don't even have much divinity left."

"But you still saw through me at first sight."

"Because I can feel my heart." Bai Wei stared at the Lord of the Underworld's chest, "It's beating thumping inside your body."
