Jaghatai Khan, Primarch of the Fifth Legion, White Scars. After the defeat of the Horus Heresy, he traveled extensively, rescuing Imperial warriors held captive by the Dark Eldar. During one battle, he was sucked into the Webway, never to be found. However, the White Scars Astartes, believing him to be still alive, now race through the Webway, chasing after the Dark Eldar.
Leman Russ, Primarch of the VI Legion, Space Wolves. Centuries after the Horus Heresy, he delivered a speech at a Space Wolves feast on the Feast of the Emperor's Ascension, then departed with his Wolf Guard, never to be seen again. For ten thousand years, the Space Wolves have searched for their Primarch, speculating that Leman Russ may have entered the Eye of Terror, seeking the Tree of Life that could heal the Emperor.
The VII Legion, Primarch of the Imperial Fists, Rogal Dorn, has returned, now under the command of the Lightseeker Fleet!
Sanguinius, Primarch of the IX Legion, Blood Angels. He was slain by Horus during the Siege of Terra, though his soul was reclaimed by the Emperor. His death left a psychic scar on the Blood Angels, causing any Astartes who imbibed his gene-seed to suffer the symptoms of the "Black Rage."
Ferrus Manus, Primarch of the Iron Hands, was the 10th Legion. He was slain by the rebel Primarch Fulgrim during the Battle of Isstvan V during the Horus Heresy. He is believed to have been resurrected by the Emperor as the Bound Legion, and is currently leading the Bound Legion in his service.
Roboute Guilliman, Primarch of the Ultramarines of the XIII Legion. During a battle following the Horus Heresy, he was stabbed in the neck with a poisoned sword by the rebel Primarch Fulgrim. He has been trapped in stasis on Macragge for ten thousand years. It was not until the Great Rift split the Imperium in two in the 41st Millennium that he awakened, assuming the role of savior and leading the Imperium against Chaos.
Vulkan, Primarch of the 18th Legion, the Salamanders. After the Horus Heresy, he left the Salamanders for unknown reasons and disappeared. 1,500 years later, during the War of the Beast, Vulkan reappeared and single-handedly defended the Imperial world of Caldera from a massive Ork invasion. His whereabouts are unknown again.
Corvus Corax, Primarch of the Raven Guard, 19th Legion. After the Horus Heresy, seeking atonement and revenge for his fallen men at the Battle of Isstvan V, he entered the Eye of Terror to hunt down the Traitor Primarchs and demand revenge. Currently, he's believed to be blocking the door of the Traitor Primarch, Lorgar, swearing revenge for his backstabbing.
Although some of the Primarchs are no longer with us, their stories and spirits live on in their respective Legions, continuing to shine for the benefit of all humanity.
It's time to put an end to this endless chaos!
