Chapter 69 His name is Yi Zhi, and his fate is tied to the other party.
"I have a question. In this book, were our names changed?" Yi Lou once asked Gu Pei a question.
This is how Gu Pei answered at the time:
"Guess why Fu Yanli and Xu Wenci are referred to as the top and bottom in the comments? Now guess what will happen after your villainous role is reduced to a regular character who doesn't participate in the main plot? Will you still deserve a name?"
Therefore, in the eyes of the viewers, Fu Yanli and Xu Wenci are not actually these names, but two other names.
Yi Lou shouldn't have appeared in this storyline.
"I have no name..."
"Everything you do when you introduce yourself is what gets noticed by the comments."
"What about Yi Pei? What about my brother?" Yi Lou's eyes reddened.
“He was originally just like you, he shouldn’t have become a villain.” Gu Pei lowered his eyes.
In the story, there is no "white moonlight" between Fu Yanli and Xu Wenci, nor is there any third party.
Therefore, Yi Pei had no need to appear, and was not Fu Yanli's ideal woman.
He was just an ordinary person.
However, he was suddenly repackaged as a villain who wasn't very smart.
Yi Lou didn't become the villain, but Yi Pei did.
The things that Gu Pei painstakingly changed ultimately came back to Yi Pei and Yi Lou.
Fate is truly cruel.
Even he, the creator, was kept in the dark.
"His name isn't Yi Pei, it's Yi Zhi."
After all these years, a full twenty-five years, Yi Lou finally learned his younger brother's real name.
Yi Lou chuckled softly, feeling a sense of irony.
The name he had always longed for, the name he had murmured, turned out not to be his brother's real name.
"You know his real name, so why do you still call him Yi Pei?" Yi Lou murmured, the last glimmer of light in his eyes fading away.
"So that's why you feel guilty towards him? You're transferring your guilt towards him onto me?" Yi Lou suddenly looked up, his eyes flashing with intense hatred. "Why didn't you tell me! Why didn't you tell me!"
Why not tell him?
The creator knows everything, but chooses not to tell the characters he creates, choosing to keep everything a secret. And then what?
Then, let the story end up completely distorted.
Gu Pei fell silent.
He naturally understood that Mingming Yizhi was just an ordinary character, or even just a character who had died in the original story, yet he had become the most heinous villain in this new story.
It's the same as his name.
hehe.
How ironic.
"Tell you?" Gu Pei's voice trembled, drawing out the last syllable, "If I tell you, what will you do? Will you kill me, or kill the person who plagiarized my novel?"
Neither of these is possible.
Instead, he will be trapped in guilt forever.
"After you leave, will Yi Zhi come back?"
"Won't."
The answer was as expected.
"Master, that person looks like Yi Lou's younger brother, Yi Pei."
Old Master Qiao squinted, then suddenly smiled.
It was an unexpected answer.
However, how could Yi Pei say such a thing?
Yi Pei's brother, Yi Lou, has always had a good relationship with Fu Yanli, hasn't he?
So that person's target... was Fu Yanli?
No, that's not right. In the original script, Yi Pei might have liked Fu Yanli.
But Yi Pei hasn't taken any action lately, which suggests that he might not be the same person who chased after Fu Yanli and made things difficult for Xu Wenci in the last world...
And what exactly did that sentence mean?
"Sir, Miss Ye has accepted your invitation. It will be tomorrow afternoon after six o'clock."
Grandpa Qiao nodded, raising an eyebrow in surprise.
What tricks is Ye Qingdai up to?
I heard that Ye Qingdai met with Xu Wenci's mother. I wonder what Xu Wenci's reaction was?
Perhaps Xu Wenci doesn't know?
"Mom, did you go to see Fu Yanli's mother?" Xu Wenci had been waiting for a long time, and finally his mother returned. But he didn't ask anxiously. Instead, he sighed softly, as if he was just murmuring and didn't expect to get an answer at all.
"Hmm." Li Suhe lowered her head, changed her shoes in the entryway, her eyes filled with doubt and tenderness.
Xu Wenci lowered his eyes, clenched his fist, then relaxed it. "What did she say to you?"
Li Suhe sensed from her son's tone that this matter seemed important, so she stopped smiling and asked anxiously, "What's wrong? Does she not approve of you being with Fu Yanli?"
Xu Wenci stared at his hand, which was being tightly gripped by Li Suhe, his expression blank.
"Mom, do you agree?" Xu Wenci opened his mouth but didn't make a sound. He licked his lips and finally asked.
Li Suhe forced a smile and gently patted her son's hand, "Do whatever you want, I support you."
Xu Wenci pursed his lips, and a glimmer seemed to flicker in his amber eyes, like ripples spreading across water.
"Mom, Fu Yanli's mother... didn't disagree, she was just... afraid that Fu Yanli and I hadn't known each other for very long..."
They were afraid that the other person didn't understand them.
I'm afraid their feelings for each other are fake.
They were even more afraid that this uncertain factor would cause an accident for Fu Yanli.
“We’ve known each other for a short time,” Li Suhe nodded, “but getting to know each other better and becoming more familiar with each other will definitely make us feel more at ease.”
Xu Wenci tilted his head.
He and Fu Yanli had known each other for a long time.
Rather, it's because the two of them are too familiar with each other.
They are so familiar with each other that they are the people who know each other best from the last world to this world.
Their fates were intertwined.
Perhaps in this world, his connection with Fu Yanli can never be severed.
In the script, and in this world, nothing will change.
If he can do what Gu Pei said, he should be able to sever all ties.
However, Fu Yanli's rule-based task is about to appear in the next few days.
Once this task is completed, before the next task appears, I'm sure I can finish those.
"Mom, I want to marry Fu Yanli." Xu Wenci paused for two seconds before continuing.
"Huh?" Li Suhe's eyes widened. "So fast?"
Li Suhe sighed and continued, "Fu Yanli's mother told me that when you were little..."
Xu Wenci gripped his fingers tightly, lowered his eyes, and the almost invisible mole on his eyelid flickered slightly.
“I’m not doing well…” Li Suhe lowered her eyes, but a tear fell onto her hand.
"I'm sorry, I'm sorry..." Li Suhe could no longer pretend, and tears fell in large drops.
Xu Wenci was stunned. He blankly reached out and caught his mother's tears.
It's so hot.
Xu Wenci withdrew his hand.
Are tears this hot?
"Mom is so sorry..." Li Suhe's shoulders trembled violently, and a suppressed sob escaped her throat. She wiped away her tears again and again, but they only flowed more and more. "Before, Mom came looking for you... but I never found you..."
Her voice was broken and intermittent, as if she couldn't utter a complete sentence.
"But... someone told me... you were lost... you disappeared... how could I..."
"I can't find you anywhere..."
Li Suhe looked down at her slightly trembling hands, her vision blurred, and she could only vaguely make out that Xu Wenci was reaching out his hand, not knowing what he was doing.
Xu Wenci's outstretched hand remained extended, catching his own tears once more.
The small pool of water on the palm of my hand resembled a depression.
"I can't find you, I keep looking... I keep looking... I think your dad is definitely... lying to me, he wouldn't have lost you..."
"I went to look for it again... but I couldn't find it each time..."
Sniffing, Li Suhe took the tissue Xu Wenci offered.
She thought she would never see her child again.
She initially thought her child had truly been abandoned.
She had initially thought that her child had little chance of survival.
Now, her child has survived.
However, it is not easy.
"I really believed it... I stopped looking in Haicheng and started looking in other cities..."
And then, it was missed.
I keep missing out.
Xu Wenci blinked and forcefully forced back her tears.
He didn't want to cry.
However, everything turned out to be a series of unexpected events.
It was so wrong that happiness seemed to be just one step away.
If his mother had actually found him, he wouldn't be living in Haicheng.
If his mother had actually found him, he wouldn't have met Fu Yanli.
If his mother had actually found him, none of this would have happened.
But he really hoped that his mother would find him.
At least that way he wouldn't have to work so hard.
There's no need to live in such an environment.
Xu Wenci murmured softly, "Why...who told you..."
"It's your...grandmother."
"Why..." Xu Wenci looked up, his face streaked with tears, "Why did you believe her..."
“Wenci, Wenci,” Li Suhe’s trembling hand gripped Xu Wenci’s arm, her voice broken, “Mom couldn’t have escaped, Mom couldn’t have escaped at all…”
"But...it was your grandma who let Mom go...Mom thought she was a good person..."
"Mommy was wrong...Mommy was wrong..."
Xu Wenci closed his eyes.
Who was in the wrong?
Grandma helped Mom escape and even helped Mom when she was going through a tough time, so there was no reason for Mom not to believe her.
However, she concealed Xu Wenci's whereabouts.
His grandmother took care of him from a young age, and even did everything she could to help him live a good life.
However, she betrayed her grandson, whom she had cared for for so many years, for the sake of her own son.
Li Suhe is not wrong.
Trusting Grandma wasn't wrong.
It's not a mistake that we can't find him.
“Mom, you did nothing wrong,” Xu Wenci’s voice trembled. “No one has blamed you.”
As long as we're still here, that's good.
"Wen Ci, Mom didn't want to tell you this, but... it all happened so suddenly..."
“Mom,” Xu Wenci looked up and patted his mother’s hand, “I know.”
I see.
Now we know everything.
Even if I don't know, I won't misunderstand you.
Mother.
Li Suhe covered her face and sobbed.
Xu Wenci suddenly remembered that their initial topic of conversation was Fu Yanli's mother.
Yes, Fu Yanli's mother doesn't like him.
What about Fu Yanli?
Is his liking for someone genuine?
He didn't know.
Actually, Fu Yanli probably didn't even know what kind of love he had...
Xu Wenci closed his eyes and sighed softly.
He wants to marry Fu Yanli.
He wants to divorce Fu Yanli.
What happens next?
Did Fu Yanli die from illness?
"Wen Ci, everything happened so suddenly..."
Suddenly, when Fu Yanli approached her for the first time, wanting her to see Xu Wenci, her first reaction was to run away.
Afterwards, an overwhelming sense of excitement swept through her body, urging her to go see the son that others had said had long been lost.
However, his son seems to be doing very well.
It seems unnecessary for this mother who didn't show up at the most crucial moment.
Author's Note: [Poor thing][Poor thing][Poor thing]
I usually write from 10:30 to 11:50, during which time I type 3,000 words. I'm usually quite busy these days, but today is the weekend, and I slowly finished typing 3,000 words in three hours. I realized it was only 10:30, so I looked back at what I had written.
Ugly, so ugly it made me cry.
I was so angry in the middle of the night that I cried under the covers.
Why is it so ugly?
I write out of love, and I've never felt anxious about it before, which is evident from the chaotic pacing of the story. Originally, I planned to stop at 100,000 words for this book, since my previous short story was only 70,000 words long and was a complete mess. I intended to improve little by little, so this book was initially positioned as a silly and sweet little story, a collection of mundane yet sweet events. I never expected to have written over 220,000 words so far, with foreshadowing coming one after another.
I was really brought to tears by how ugly it was [crying]. The pacing was a complete mess. The small things in the early stages weren't so bad because it was initially intended to be a sweet story, but the style in the later stages was so different from the early ones that the whole story looked terrible.
I can tolerate the typos, the pacing being a mess, the main plot being unclear, and the transitions being poorly written. But what I can't accept is that I'm typing this while wiping away tears, but I don't know how to correct it or how to improve. [crying emoji]
I knew my writing wasn't good before, but I didn't think it was that bad, so I was always happy. Today, for the first time, I cried because my writing was so ugly [crying emoji]. For the first time, I felt so anxious [crying emoji].
This is terrible, the writing is awful [crying emoji]
And today I was hit by someone while riding my electric bike, and that person ran away [crying emoji]. Luckily, I wasn't seriously injured, just my left arm still hurts and my butt hurt too.
However, the main story will definitely end on November 22nd, which is a very important day for me.
Although my writing is terrible, I will definitely finish it! [Sunglasses] I'll try to learn as I write, and I'll try my best not to repeat the problems I'm aware of in my next book.
(I really want to cry, I keep wiping away my tears)
