Chapter 7 became a hit, and a contract was signed.

Zhou Xingyun stared at the already connected phone and fell silent.

Just as he was about to hang up the phone, a clear and soft voice on the other end instantly brought him back to his senses.

"Wenli?!"

"It's me," Wen Li said briefly. "I've decided, I'll follow you from now on!"

It took Zhou Xingyun a while to react, then he was overjoyed. The thought that Wen Li's face would definitely be a hit on the big screen made him burst into laughter.

We quickly arranged a time and place to meet the next day, but after hanging up the phone, I couldn't fall asleep.

Zhou Xingyun spent the entire night repeatedly looking at his phone's call logs, afraid that he was dreaming.

I didn't sleep a wink all night until dawn.

The next day, Wen Li told Huo Yinghuai about the meeting, and Huo Yinghuai immediately arranged for a lawyer.

The meeting place happened to be downstairs from Huo Yinghuai's company, so the two of them went to the company together first.

When the appointed time arrived, Wen Li and her lawyer went to the coffee shop and saw Zhou Xingyun constantly checking the time as soon as they entered.

Just then, Zhou Xingyun looked up and saw Wen Li wearing a white dress with plain trim.

Wen Li simply tied her hair into a bun today, and the sunlight outside shone on her back, making her seem to glow.

After sitting down, Zhou Xingyun handed the contract directly to Wen Li and said, "Don't worry, the contract we're giving you is definitely the best in the industry. We're only signing a three-year contract. If your annual income doesn't reach three million during this period, you can take the initiative to terminate the contract with the company, and we definitely won't delay you."

Zhou Xingyun is indeed an industry insider; he speaks with great eloquence.

Wen Li didn't understand, but when she heard about an annual income of three million, she immediately perked up: "Three million?"

Zhou Xingyun nodded: "Yes, I do not have as many resources as before, but I still have connections. You are the only artist in the company now, and I will put all the resources on you."

Zhou Xingyun is a shrewd judge of character.

The entertainment industry is not lacking in beautiful women with great temperament, but there is no one with the temperament and personality of Wen Li.

If I put in the effort, I might even win a Best Actress award or a Best Television Actress award.

Zhou Xingyun said a lot more, and after the lawyer next to Wen Li finished reading the contract, he said, "Ms. Wen, there is no problem with the contract."

Wen Li waved her hand dismissively: "Then what are we waiting for? I'll sign!"

Three million! I didn't know the entertainment industry was so lucrative.

Wen Li took the pen and wrote her name in a crooked and messy way.

Zhou Xingyun took the contract and glanced at it. When he saw the handwriting, which looked like dog scratch, he made up his mind to hire a calligraphy teacher for Wen Li.

Otherwise, wouldn't it be so awkward to sign autographs for fans?

Zhou Xingyun sealed the contract. "From now on, I'll be your agent, Wen Li. It'll be a pleasure working with you."

Zhou Xingyun couldn't help but smile. With Wen Li as his representative, his comeback was just around the corner.

"Ahem!" Realizing he was about to burst out laughing, Zhou Xingyun quickly covered his lips with his hand, trying to keep his laughter from getting too out of control: "As your manager, there are a few things I need to know in advance that concern your acting career."

Isn't that about whether I can make money in the future?

Wen Li immediately sat up straight, put her legs together, placed her hands on her knees, and nodded obediently.

Zhou Xingyun found it somewhat amusing, but it's a good thing for artists to be obedient.

"I heard you came to City A to find your relatives. Did you find them?"

Wen Li shook her head: "Not yet, but my friend is helping me with some NBA games."

Zhou Xingyun's heart skipped a beat, a bad feeling creeping over him. He immediately asked his second question: "NBA? What's your educational background?"

Wen Li blinked honestly: "I've never been to school."

Zhou Xingyun was still somewhat unwilling to give up: "Does that mean you didn't go to university?"

Wen Li honestly shook her head: "It means illiterate."

Zhou Xingyun suddenly looked up at the ceiling in silence.

It's awesome!
