The doctor was getting annoyed, but he suppressed his anger and said, "Madam, you've been watching us the whole time."
They need an opportunity to do something, okay?
Fu Rong understood this principle, but she couldn't accept that Shu Mowan was truly a member of the Shu family.
If the result is true, then what was the point of all that trouble she caused before? Was it to be proven wrong?
“If the old lady has nothing else to say, we need to continue our work.”
The doctor subtly asked the customer to leave.
Fu Rong took the test results and left absentmindedly.
"Grandma, the results are in? Is my sister a child of the Shu family?"
Upon seeing Fu Rong, Shu Xueyin rushed over in a flash.
Apart from Fu Rong, she was the one who most hoped that Shu Mowan was a fake.
Fu Rong glanced at her and forced a smile.
Shu Xueyin's heart skipped a beat when she saw this.
Shu Mowan is probably really the daughter of the Shu family.
She had spent two days planning with great anticipation, but it all came to nothing, leaving her feeling empty inside.
"What's wrong? Wanwan is real, and you're not happy?"
Yun Yun's voice, which sounded both mocking and not mocking, rang out. Shu Xueyin snapped out of her daze and met Yun Yun's all-seeing gaze. Startled, she suppressed her wicked thoughts and forced a happy smile. "Mom, I didn't. I'm just so happy that my sister is really true."
"But your smile looks uglier than your crying."
Yun Yun sneered.
Shu Xueyin twisted her fingers nervously, then stammered, "Mom, I didn't."
Seeing that she was being wronged, Fu Rong got angry, pulled her behind her, and glared at Yun Yun: "Yun Yun, what do you mean?"
"Yinyin genuinely likes Mowan as her older sister, yet you repeatedly try to incite them to be on opposite sides. What are your true intentions?"
She questioned him.
Yun Yun sneered: "Mother-in-law, you really have a bad memory. Isn't it you who wants the DNA to be redone?"
Fu Rong's eyes flickered slightly, revealing a hint of guilt.
However, she feigned weakness and said, "I did that to ensure the authenticity of the Shu family bloodline. It had nothing to do with Yin Yin. She knows nothing about these things."
"So stop using this as an excuse to say she has malicious intentions, or I'll never forgive you."
She warned Yunyun.
Yun Yun snorted coldly and ultimately didn't press the matter further.
Fu Rong is, after all, Shu Chuxiao's mother. She couldn't really make her so angry that she passed out. Otherwise, if word got out, people would just think she couldn't tolerate her mother-in-law.
Being a daughter-in-law is just this frustrating thing.
Even if your mother-in-law is unreasonable, sometimes you just have to put up with it.
Shu Mowan had no intention of holding back. She walked up to Fu Rong and said innocently, "Grandma, are you going to apologize to Mom now, or would you like to choose an auspicious day?"
"As for the latter, I checked the calendar, and it says that Yi apologizes tomorrow. What do you think?"
She seemed to be questioning Fu Rong, but she had already arranged for her apology to be made perfectly clear.
It was either today or tomorrow; Fu Rong was given no chance to back out.
Fu Rong was already devastated by the DNA results, and now she also had to apologize to Yun Yun. Overwhelmed with emotion, she pointed at Shu Mowan and only managed to say one word: "You..." before her eyes rolled back and she fainted in Shu Xueyin's arms.
"Grandma, what's wrong?"
Shu Xueyin was in a panic.
Shu Mowan twitched the corners of her mouth, a hint of mockery flashing in her eyes.
She's a doctor. How could she not tell whether someone is faking fainting or genuinely fainting?
Fu Rong's technique for faking unconsciousness was still lacking.
"Sister, I'm a doctor, let me take a look."
Shu Mowan stepped forward, forcefully snatched Fu Rong from Shu Xueyin's arms, placed her on the floor, and pretended to take her pulse, saying, "Grandma just had a sudden attack of anger, it's not a big problem. I only need to apply a little acupuncture, and she'll wake up, it's just..."
She deliberately hesitated before saying, "It might hurt a little when the needle goes into the flesh, but Grandma is unconscious right now, so she shouldn't feel it."
As soon as she finished speaking, Fu Rong's body on the floor trembled uncontrollably.
Although subtle, it can be noticed if you pay attention.
Shu Mowan silently curled her lips into a smile.
Since Fu Rong wanted to use fainting as an excuse to avoid apologizing, she would take advantage of her fake fainting to scare her and make her afraid to actually faint.
"Little sister, don't worry. It will hurt a little when the needle goes in, but it won't last long."
Shu Mowan took out silver needles and pretended to give Fu Rong acupuncture. She didn't forget to say to Shu Xueyin, "I know you have a good relationship with Grandma, but I believe she can bear this little bit of pain."
She should have kept quiet, because once she did, not only did Fu Rong's body tense up, but even Shu Xueyin felt uneasy.
She felt that Shu Mowan was deliberately retaliating, otherwise why didn't other doctors' injections hurt?
Unfortunately, she had no evidence.
Just as she subconsciously bit her lip, wondering what to do, Fu Rong's eyelashes fluttered, and she pretended to slowly wake up.
She opened her eyes, looking bewildered, and asked, "What happened to me?"
Shu Mowan looked down and secretly curled her lip. This blank look of hers was quite convincing.
"grandmother."
Shu Xueyin squatted down, looking at her with teary eyes, "You suddenly fainted just now, it scared me."
Fu Rong stood up and reached out to wipe away her tears. "I'm fine. I just probably had low blood sugar, that's why I fainted."
She was taking this opportunity to tell the younger generation that she just had low blood sugar, not that she couldn't accept defeat.
"Yunyun, I'm not feeling well today, I'll apologize tomorrow."
Since you can't avoid apologizing, you might as well bring it up proactively.
At least it leaves the impression that you can afford to lose.
Yun Yun nodded.
"Yinyin, let's go."
Fu Rong said to Shu Xueyin.
Shu Xueyin helped her up and said goodbye to Yun Yun and the others before leaving.
