Chapter 23 He really wanted to kill Feng Qianqian

As soon as they ran off, Yun Jin smiled silently and swaggered home with her big pregnant belly.

She was hungry after a whole morning of fussing around.

When they got back and saw He Tingchuan's dark face, Yun Jin wisely didn't disturb his sulking. Instead, she rummaged through drawers and cabinets looking for something, making a racket that annoyed the sulking man: "Can you be quiet for a second?"

Yun Jin, clutching her stomach innocently, said, "Your daughter is hungry!"

He Tingchuan glanced at her large belly.

Very good. Before, he kept calling her "son," but now he keeps calling her "daughter."

She knows how to manipulate people's hearts.

Thinking of his sweet and soft daughter, He Tingchuan strode out of the house, leaving behind the words, "I'm going to get my daughter something to eat. You stay home and reflect on what you did wrong today."

Yun Jin pointed to her nose: "Did I?"

He Tingchuan turned around and glared at her, his eyes cold and ruthless.

Yun Jin immediately backed down: "I will reflect on my actions, I must reflect deeply on them!"

He Tingchuan snorted coldly and strode away. He threw the lunchbox away and was now going to look for it.

What's going on so early in the morning?

When He Tingchuan found the lunchbox, the steamed buns and mantou from breakfast were covered in mud, the porridge had been spilled, and ants were crawling on the pickled vegetables; it was completely inedible.

He Tingchuan had no choice but to go to the cafeteria to get another serving.

We arrived too late; the cafeteria had already closed up shop, and there was nothing left to eat.

Thinking of the woman at home clutching her stomach and saying she was hungry, He Tingchuan sighed and had no choice but to go to the state-run restaurant to buy food.

Fortunately, there were still steamed buns and noodles available. He bought some and hurried home. Downstairs, he encountered the political commissar, who had a gloomy expression and stared at him with displeasure: "He Tingchuan."

He Tingchuan saluted: "Here."

"Come here." The political commissar didn't even give him a second glance.

Thinking of his wife at home, who was still nursing, He Tingchuan made a request: "Political Commissar, could I go back home? My wife hasn't had breakfast yet."

The political commissar snorted coldly: "You think you're the only one with a wife who doesn't? I'll give you three minutes. If you exceed the time limit, you'll have to write ten more self-criticisms."

He Tingchuan ran away like a tornado.
