Yun Jin saw the mark on the box, raised an eyebrow, and asked in surprise, "For me?"
He Tingchuan nodded, and moved the box about a fist's distance away from her, almost shoving it into her hand.

He Tingchuan had Liu Sanchen buy the latest women's style, which was small and exquisite. Even so, it still weighed a lot on her slender wrist and was easy to slip off.
Yun Jin frowned: "It's too big."
He Tingchuan said calmly, "It's alright, just a few chains will do. I'll go borrow the tools later."
"You can?" Yun Jin asked in surprise.
He Tingchuan nodded.
Yun Jin exclaimed excitedly, "Wow, my daughter's dad is amazing!"
He Tingchuan glanced at her, wanting to suggest she use a different form of address, but seeing her smiling and looking at him with admiration, he couldn't bring himself to say what he was about to say.
Fine, she can call me whatever she wants.
He Tingchuan borrowed the tools and sat by the window, carefully disassembling the excess chains. This was delicate work, and if Yun Jin were to do it, it would definitely be a disaster.
He was different. Once the chains were in his hands, they were like his soldiers, each one trained and obedient. He could do whatever he wanted with them, and soon the extra chains were removed.
It was a bit hot, so Yun Jin held a palm-leaf fan and fanned them while watching him remove the extra watch chains.
