Chapter 43 The watch is beautiful

I can picture a cute, chubby little girl calling him "Daddy" in her sweet, childlike voice.

He Tingchuan's heart of steel was almost melted.

He refused to admit that he wanted her, coldly stating, "No matter what she looks like when she's born, she'll still be my daughter. I won't mind."

Yun Jin pouted; she planned to buy it herself tomorrow.

Yun Jin, who had skipped her afternoon nap and run out, couldn't stay awake any longer at three or four o'clock. She told He Tingchuan, put down the mosquito net, fanned herself a few times, and then went silent.

When He Tingchuan returned with dinner, he noticed the door was still locked and assumed Yun Jin was still asleep. He quietly opened the door and saw someone sitting to the side, laboriously peeling walnuts.

Seeing He Tingchuan was like seeing a savior: "Dad, it's good that you're back. Quickly help me crack these walnuts, the shells are so thick and hard to peel."

He Tingchuan's face darkened as he looked at Yun Jin, whose fingertips were bleeding.
