Chapter 9 Being looked down upon by a dog

Yun Jin raised an eyebrow in surprise, looking at He Tingchuan standing in front of her to protect her. With him there, she, a pregnant woman, felt more confident: "You've come at the right time. This woman not only looks down on people, but also tried to hurt me, a pregnant woman."

"You started it by swearing." The saleswoman looked at the tall, imposing man in front of her, with a cold face and sharp eyes. He looked like someone not to be trifled with. She never expected that this beggar woman would have such an outstanding husband.

This is absolutely outrageous!

Does she deserve it?

He Tingchuan glared at the aggrieved saleswoman with a dark expression, his eyes practically murderous: "All I know is that you told my wife to get lost, claimed you wouldn't sell her any clothes, and even tried to push my pregnant wife. Did you do that?"

"I...I was so angry with her." The saleswoman argued righteously, not forgetting to put down Yun Jin: "She's actually your wife? How could you marry such a woman?"

“My wife is perfectly fine!” He Tingchuan ignored her nonsense: “If you admit it, then Li Aiguo should go and call her boss over so he can judge the matter. My wife, He Tingchuan’s wife, cannot be bullied for no reason.”

Yun Jin's lips curled up in a smug smile as she looked triumphantly at the saleswoman whose face had turned pale with fright. "You're finished."

The sales clerk was startled, her expression filled with fear: "No...no need for that!"

He Tingchuan didn't even glance at her, and asked the woman behind him who had been watching the commotion, "Which one do you want to try on?"

Yun Jin pointed to the green one, thinking that He Tingchuan would ask the sales clerk to get it for her. But to her surprise, he took advantage of his height and long arms, raised his arm, and not only took down the green coat she had chosen, but also unbuttoned it and helped her put it on. His actions were so smooth that Yun Jin was caught off guard.

Yun Jin watched the man in front of her button her clothes, straighten her collar, and smooth out the wrinkles without showing any emotion. As he did this, his cold and stern face remained unchanged, his gaze serious and without any impatience.

His sword-like eyebrows were relaxed, his gaze was cool but not sharp, and beneath his high, straight nose, his thin lips were slightly pursed. His cold, hard jawline was smooth and handsome. This face seemed to be sculpted by a master craftsman. It was so close to his arm that it was a devastating sight.

Yun Jin felt embarrassed to keep staring at him.

She would glance at him, then look away, then glance again, and look away again, repeating this seven, eight, nine, or ten times until finally his cold gaze locked onto her, and he mocked her irritably, "What's wrong? Is there a thorn on my face that's poking your eye?"
