Chapter 47 Abundant Fish

There were four carp left, and Yun Jin told Li Aimei to take them home to eat.

She ate crucian carp.

The eight crucian carp, large and small, weighing a total of about two pounds, were enough for her to eat for a day.

Sister-in-law Gao asked her if she wanted scallions, but Yun Jin shook her head: "I don't like scallions. Stewed tofu is fine. Thank you, sister-in-law."

Sister-in-law Gao then realized that Yun Jin didn't like scallions. No wonder she ignored her when she was planting scallions; it turned out she didn't like them.

There are actually people who don't like scallions.

Li Aimei finished cleaning the fish, and Gao's sister-in-law had also cooked the dishes. Yun Jin stood to the side, instructing Li Aimei to heat the oil in the wok, while she held the wok lid in front of her to protect her face.

Seeing that, Sister-in-law Gao and Li Aimei didn't know whether to laugh or cry.

Although Yun Jin's cooking skills are not very good, Li Aimei is indeed very talented in cooking.

Under her guidance, a pot of milky white crucian carp and tofu soup was served. Gao's youngest daughter stared longingly at Yun Jin, swallowing her saliva every now and then, making the person watching feel embarrassed.

Yun Jin asked Li Aimei to serve the little girl a bowl of fish soup and tofu, but not the fish meat, mainly because crucian carp has a lot of bones. Yun Jin was afraid that if the little girl didn't know how to eat it and got choked, she would get herself into trouble.

It's not that she's stingy.

Sister-in-law Gao tapped her youngest daughter's head sheepishly: "This child is really something, she comes begging for food as soon as I don't look at her."

Yun Jin smiled nonchalantly: "I've eaten my fair share of your cooking, so it's only fair. Besides, the tofu is from your family. Anyway, I'm going back to eat now."

Sister-in-law Gao smiled and nodded. Looking at Yun Jin, who was clearly easy to get along with, she felt that those older women were just jealous. They were deliberately trying to make an impression on Yun Jin because she had married Commander He, and they talked badly about her behind her back.

Xiaoyun didn't do anything wrong at all, okay?

Thinking about how several people were knocked out by that plate of stir-fried green beans, Sister Gao said that as long as people don't eat her cooking, there shouldn't be any problems.

Watching her little girl happily slurping down the fish soup, Li Aimei thought, "This fish soup was made by Li Aimei. Hopefully, it won't send her to the hospital!"

Fortunately, Li Aimei is a good cook; the fish soup is delicious, and the fish is fresh and tasty. Everyone who has tried it says it's great.

Naturally, there's no need to go to the hospital.

Li Aimei absolutely refused to stay for dinner at Yun Jin's place. After cooking for Yun Jin, she quickly took a few carp home. The carp had been prepared earlier and could be cooked directly when she got home.

After eating and drinking her fill, Yun Jin took a nap at noon. When Li Aimei came over around three or four o'clock, she was still asleep, which worried Li Aimei. As soon as Yun Jin opened the door, she said impatiently, "Sister-in-law, shall we go fishing this afternoon? I saw a lot of boys in the compound going to the river to fish."

Yun Jin and Li Aimei leisurely went to the riverbank and saw that, although there were only the two of them in the morning, their spot was now occupied, and the riverbank was full of people fishing in groups of three or five.

These people who follow the trend are moving way too fast!

The women in the village are so uncivilized. They said they didn't care about the small fish and shrimp they caught and wouldn't waste firewood on them.
