Chapter 67 Fang Ruyue (Part 2)

Thick silk curtains filled the space, and countless tall flower trees bloomed and bore fruit here, with lush branches and leaves.

Slender, pure white monsters moved like ghosts among the countless hanging silks, their figures light and agile, as if blending into their surroundings.

The monsters ignored Blore sitting in the peach tree and immersed themselves in their own world, laughing and playing games. Their laughter was clear and melodious, echoing in the air like silver bells.

Blore sat quietly in the tree, watching the monsters' every move. What were these monsters? Why were they suddenly acting like this, and were there more and more of them? He suddenly felt that something was wrong with the tree next to him. It had originally been blooming peach blossoms, but the color of the flowers was getting darker and darker, finally turning an extremely bright red.

Like elves, the monsters weave and leap lightly across the silk. Their movements are fluid and graceful, each leap accompanied by a slight tremor, as if they are performing a magnificent dance. Their bodies shimmer with a faint light, reflecting the sheen of the silk, creating a dreamlike atmosphere.

The flickering candlelight around him dimly illuminated the mysterious space. Blore sat quietly on a tree covered with strange red flowers, watching everything before him.

He picked a bright red flower and stuffed it into his clothes, then sat here alone and continued to think. The golden runes began to slowly rotate around him, and he always felt that something else was going to happen.

The bright red petals slowly fell onto the passionately dancing flower fairy. A breeze blew from somewhere, and the veil fluttered, creating a magnificent scene.

Under the silk curtains, as time went by, the flower fairies continued to dance, their figures becoming more and more charming in the candlelight. After a while, Blore suddenly jumped down from the tree and left in the opposite direction of the flower fairies' dance.

Nansong looked everywhere carefully, but unfortunately the footsteps disappeared quickly and there were no clues around. Because the candlelight was dim, Lu Nanyao didn't gain anything.

Suddenly a breeze blew over, blowing some light silk to sway in the wind.

"Where does the wind come from here?" Nan Song thought to himself.

Lu Nanyao didn't seem afraid at all. She stood up and turned around, but found nothing, so she had to return disappointed.

As they were walking, his expression suddenly changed. He took two quick steps to pull Nansong up, but it was too late. They both went back to bed. The curtains around them fluttered lightly, and the candlelight was dim, making it difficult to see anyone.

Two figures slowly approached, and the scene suddenly changed. The air around them seemed to condense into a layer of icy mist, bitingly cold. The lights in the room also became extremely dim, barely illuminating the road ahead.

As the two entered the room, the scene before them became horrifying. The space became eerie and gloomy, with countless silk ribbons dangling from the beams like tentacles of death. These ribbons were tightly bound to corpses, their deaths horrific and terrifying.

Some bodies were hung high in the air, their limbs twisted beyond recognition, as if they had suffered extreme pain and torture in their final moments. Their faces were hideous, their eyes revealing endless fear and despair, as if they were telling the world about their experiences.

Other bodies were dragged across the ground, their bodies battered and broken, blood flowing onto the cold floor, forming patches of crimson blood. Their wounds were hideous, as if torn open by a cruel and merciless force, making it unbearable to look at them.

The entire room was filled with a strong smell of death, the pungent smell of blood making it almost impossible for them to breathe. The shadows on the walls flickered, as if the dead souls were struggling in agony, trying to break free. All of this made them feel a little surprised and uneasy.

"We've entered a fantasy world, don't worry." Lu Nanyao said in a low voice.

Nan Song was speechless and could only reluctantly respond with a "hmm".

One of the men had a pair of fox eyes. He walked over slowly, waving a fan, followed by a man who looked handsome but was actually dull.

"Brother Zhang, what's wrong? What are you afraid of?" The man with fox eyes looked at him with a smile.

The slightly dull man ignored him, picked up a piece of silk, and pulled the dead man away with disgust.

"Where is Fang Ruyue? You let her go, but she wanted to kill you, didn't she?" The man's temperament suddenly became a little different. He closed his eyes and asked Fox Eyes.

"What can I do? At this point, she is our only comrade-in-arms." Fox Eyes said with a smile.

"And Brother Zhang, how does it feel to be resurrected from the dead?"

Hearing the words "resurrection from the dead", Nan Song's eyes suddenly widened, and even Lu Nan Yao frowned slightly. This was completely inconsistent with the situation described before, and now they could only take it one step at a time.

Brother Zhang did not answer. He started to search everywhere on the dead body. Seeing this, Fox Eye just laughed twice, strode away, waving a paper fan, and asked as he left, "Do you think Fang Ruhua really exists?" His voice was so soft that it was almost inaudible.

He strode forward and suddenly started to go down the stairs. There was no light beside the stairs. It was so dark, like an endless black hole, which made people feel deeply scared and uneasy.

Nan Song didn't know what was going to happen. Her heartbeat quickened and her breathing became rapid, but her fox eyes remained calm and she continued to walk forward steadily, as if she wanted to challenge the limits of this dark world.

Nan Song glanced at Lu Nanyao next to him secretly and found that her expression had not changed. He couldn't help but admire her in his heart. She was worthy of being a member of Group A. She had seen all kinds of storms.
