Chapter 67 Fang Ruyue (Part 2)

The shadows swayed, the candlelight dimmed, and after a few steps, there was a tall step-out bed, hidden among the hanging silk hanging from the sky.

Blore always felt that something was wrong here. He could hear the sweet laughter continuously. He stopped suddenly. There was a peach tree in front of him. He climbed up in no time.

Who is so kind as to plant trees in their home? Besides, this space is ridiculously large, and the pillars everywhere look like ebony. I don’t know how such a large project was completed, Blore thought secretly in his heart.

Soon, the silvery laughter of the girls rang out again. Not just one girl, but a whole group of girls dressed like colorful butterflies surrounded a girl who was as bright as the moon in the center, and the sound of their conversation could be heard faintly.

"Ayue, the wedding is next month. Aren't you happy?" The girl in blue said with a giggle.

"My sister hasn't come back yet, why should I be in such a hurry?" Fang Ruyue said this with a smile, but a trace of pain flashed in her eyes.

As they were talking, they arrived in front of a door and everyone walked in with a lot of noise. Blore was immediately stunned. The layout was exactly the same as what he saw now.

But they had only walked a few steps before they turned a corner and started climbing the stairs. Soon a lobby appeared in front of them. Six elderly people were sitting separately. It was obvious that the relationship between two families was very close.

The old lady in a blue and gold dress lowered her head and took a sip of tea, her eyes moving to the sickly-looking man standing behind the old lady in a red and gold dress.

"Li Yuan, your real grandson is here. What are you going to do with Li Si?" A smile appeared on the face of Mrs. Zhang, who was dressed in blue and gold.

Madam Li, who was dressed in red and gold, ignored her and instead turned her gaze to Madam Fang, who was sitting in the center and wearing green and gold.

"We all know this matter very well, there is no need to talk about it anymore. Besides, we are also wronging Li Si." Old Lady Fang said lightly.

"Okay, when can you two families speak openly about what you did? Don't feel disgusted when you talk about it." Old Master Fang threw the teacup and looked straight at the frail man hiding behind Old Master Li.

The man's body immediately began to shake uncontrollably, and no one spoke for a long time.

Fang Ruyue was standing at the door. None of the girls gathered around her dared to speak. The window paper was almost transparent. She just stood there coldly, watching the farce.

A man with fox eyes walked out slowly from somewhere. He waved to the girls gathered around Fang Ruyue, and they immediately scattered. Blore could clearly feel that those people were very afraid of this man.

In his hands he held a piece of white cloth, which seemed particularly heavy, as if carrying endless sorrow and despair. Its pure whiteness contrasted sharply with the bright colors of the surroundings, like a pure snowflake falling among the colorful flowers, appearing out of place.

"Did you hear that?" he asked softly, his voice low and magnetic, as if carrying a hint of mysterious magic. His eyes were fixed on Fang Ruyue, revealing a deep expectation and provocation.

"How long do you think they can wait? Didn't your parents die a long time ago? What are you still waiting for?"

Fang Ruyue stood there quietly, her eyes clear as water, yet concealing endless sorrow. She stared silently at the man before her, not answering his question, only her slightly trembling lips revealing the turmoil in her heart.

The corners of the man's mouth curled up slightly, a faint smile forming. This smile seemed to hold countless deeper meanings, leaving no one able to grasp them. Then, he turned and left, his steps erratic. Fang Ruyue followed him silently, her steps as gentle as a ghost's, and together they disappeared into the darkness.

Inside the room, six people sat silently, like puppets whose souls had been instantly lost. Their faces were expressionless, their eyes hollow and lifeless, like the walking dead. After Fang Ruyue and the other two left, their bodies seemed to have lost all support, collapsing limply to the ground, lifeless.

The silks and satins that had been hanging from the beams seemed to come alive, slowly wriggling. They snaked down like snakes, gently crawling over everyone's body and wrapping them tightly.

Young Master Li's eyes widened in terror, and he let out a shrill scream. He scrambled to escape, but silk was immediately stuffed into his mouth, muffling his cries for help. Simultaneously, the silk quickly entangled his hands and feet, rendering him unable to move. His face instantly turned crimson, his breathing labored, and soon he lay motionless on the ground.

The scene quickly faded, and Blore suddenly saw the branches of the peach tree again. He sat on the tree and looked down, only to see a monster crawling under the tree. It was about a meter long, with soft white limbs and a pink pointed face. It just stuck out its tongue and looked up at him.

This monster looks very strange. Its legs and arms account for at least 4/5 of its body length. Its fingers are very long, its nails are sharp, and its eyes are ridiculously large. From its appearance, it seems that it should be good at crawling, but it just keeps circling the tree and has no intention of climbing up.

Blore thought to himself, "There really is something there. It wasn't just an illusion."

As time went by, more and more monsters slowly crawled out. Their bodies were pink with white, which was very beautiful.

These monsters were hidden among the silken draperies that had fallen from the sky, and they seemed to have begun to move freely after Blore's vision.
