Chapter 38 Are you drunk? He slept with Zhu Yan and ignored him completely...
Zhu Yanhe ignored him, his eyes lowered, only glancing at Zhu Zhu across from him who was grinning smugly.
"Sister! I like you more, sister." Ning Buyi was completely unaware of the darkening expression on the face of the person next to him.
Which would you choose: your girlfriend or your brothers? Of course, choose your sister! You can have so many brothers, but you only have one sister.
"Why?" Looking at her brother's face, which looked like it could be smeared with soot, Zhu Zhu laughed so hard she almost fell over, and even felt jealous of herself.
He turned to look at Zhu Yanhe, his thumb resting on his chin: "My sister never gets angry, but Zhu Yanhe always does."
Zhu Yanhe was definitely the most easily angered person he had ever met, and he always had to coax her. How could she be so childish at her age? Besides him, who else would comfort Zhu Yanhe?
The man's brow twitched, and the crab shells under his hands were broken into pieces and scattered on the plate. To prove his point, he deliberately said, "Ning Buyi, I'm angry."
Ning Buyi pointed at the "angry" man and said to her, "Look, look, what did I tell you?"
After saying that, he grabbed Zhu Yanhe's arm and shook it, his familiar manner suggesting he had done this countless times before: "Please, don't be angry, okay?"
Zhu Yanhe's feigned anger softened, and he handed the peeled crab to him. Not only did he not see through the man's pretense, but he also felt quite accomplished about it.
Zhu Zhu opened her mouth, but no sound came out. Her brother was just playing with this idiot right under her nose. What was the difference between that and flirting?
Zhu Yanhe suddenly changed the subject, asking, "What have you two been doing together these past few days?"
Even for a respectable job, Ning Buyi still wears black stockings and a maid outfit, complete with leg rings and cat ears.
Zhu Zhu paused for a second, then quickly replied, "It's nothing, I just like taking pictures, so I asked him to be my model."
After saying this, he winked at Ning Buyi, afraid that Ning would give him away.
Ning Buyi, holding a crab leg, chimed in, "Yes, yes, I'm a model."
I reluctantly pushed a plate of peeled meat onto him. Why ask so many questions? Besides, he's a model.
Zhu Yanhe tried to find a flaw in the two men's faces, but Ning Buyi seemed to take it all for granted.
Seeing Zhu Yanhe's determined look, Zhu Zhu quickly changed the subject: "Brother, can I not go to work?"
Zhu Yanhe's attention was successfully diverted, and he said casually, "Your card should be frozen by now."
Zhu Zhu nodded. She knew without even thinking what the old man could do besides controlling her finances. Fortunately, her side business was starting to show some promise.
If Ning Buyi's order goes well, she can get a new camera and have more money in hand.
"It doesn't matter, I won't starve to death anyway."
"what ever."
Zhu Yan's eyes were glued to the boy who was engrossed in eating, and she didn't even glance at Zhu Zhu.
Zhu Zhu changed the subject abruptly, speaking directly with a tentative tone: "Brother, you like him, don't you?"
He lazily looked up at her; the little girl's thoughts were written all over her face, but he didn't say anything, as he hadn't intended to hide them anyway.
This piqued Ning Buyi's interest, who was engrossed in eating: "What? Zhu Yan and you have someone you like too?"
His hand caressed the back of Ning Buyi's neck: "Do you think everyone is as easy to fool as you?"
He scolded him again, and Ning Buyi took the plate in front of him as an excuse to not let him eat.
Zhu Zhu seized the opportunity to make a request: "Brother, buy me a new camera."
"If you're not afraid of your dad smashing it, I might buy it," Zhu Yanhe said calmly.
Zhu Zhu thought he had a lot of leverage over Zhu Yanhe, but he didn't really care. He figured it wouldn't hurt to grant such a trivial request.
"Thanks, brother~" Zhu Zhu replied in a high-pitched voice.
Zhu Yanhe agreed so readily that she thought he was willing to risk everything for a woman, or that an old house was on fire and a rare tree was blooming.
The waiter kept clearing the empty plates off the table, and Ning Buyi kept watching the process as he chewed, wondering why there was only such a small amount of food on such a large plate.
Zhu Yanhe tilted her head and asked him, "Are you drunk?"
The boy, with his chopsticks poking in his bowl, burped and replied, "I'm not asleep, I'm awake."
As he spoke, he tried to open his eyes, but he was a little dizzy from eating too much.
Zhu Yanhe chuckled as he looked at him, and the next moment he was punched by his pretty fist, the number one tickler.
The two stepped across the shop threshold one after the other. The moon hung quietly in the sky, casting a warm glow. Ning Buyi held onto his sleeve as they walked, swaying unsteadily. Suddenly, he stopped, as if remembering something. "Zhu Yanhe."
Ning Buyi's cheeks flushed with the rosy hue of drunkenness, and he squinted at people through a slit. Zhu Yanhe was pulled by the hem of his clothes and stopped, turning his head to look at him.
He patted his chest, looking dignified and imposing: "I forgive you for always criticizing me."
Zhu Yanhe just looked at him quietly. "Forgive whom? Didn't he always say he'd report it on the spot?" Zhu Yanhe asked.
Why are you suddenly bringing this up?
Ning Buyi lowered his head, staring at his toes, before slowly speaking: "Because you must be in a lot of pain..."
When he was in elementary school, many people wanted to play with him, but he didn't like it because they had poor eyesight and would always bump into him. They also always missed when throwing beanbags and they would end up hitting him. So he didn't want to play with them anymore.
Before transferring schools, Ning Buyi received farewell letters from his good friends. He excitedly opened them and found a red handprint printed inside, with crooked lines and pinyin.
"Bastard, I won't be able to let you down anymore, it hurts so much."
"I hope you die soon."
"Open this letter, and you will be haunted by a ghost."
...
He was foolish enough not to notice it then, which is why he didn't care. But Zhu Yanhe is so smart, he must have noticed that he was being bullied.
Zhu Yanhe knelt down in front of him, looked up at him, and asked softly, "What do you know?"
"I know... you used to be bullied."
Ning Buyi replied meekly, "He must have been bullied to become so talkative. He doesn't blame Zhu Yanhe."
Zhu Yanhe turned around and glanced at Zhu Zhu, who was standing there with his hands in his pockets.
"It has nothing to do with me. I only said what you said to me at my bedside." Zhu Zhu raised her hands to show her innocence.
Zhu Zhu stood in the shadows, and the two of them seemed to be performing a play on a stage under the flashing lights.
"And then? You pity me?" Zhu Yanhe asked indifferently.
"No way." He shook his head like a rattle-drum, eager to refute, and then reached out to touch the top of Zhu Yanhe's head, his voice soft, "Sister Zhu Zhu is not wrong, and you are not wrong either. You are so brave, you are my most amazing brother. I won't be angry with you even if you say something to me."
Patting someone's head is the most useful trick he learned from cartoons.
Zhu Yanhe stood up. How could he not know what Ning Buyi meant? But who told him to take it upon himself to comfort him? He didn't need it at all.
Zhu Yanhe's eyes held a hint of desire and an unreadable emotion as he asked, "Are you drunk?"
Ning Buyi stood on tiptoe and bumped his chin with her head: "How could I be asleep? Did you hear me or not?"
The man raised his hand and pinched his chin, carefully examining his face. His thick eyelashes were trembling slightly, his eyes were already unclear, and his tender red lips were like a ripe fruit waiting to be picked.
"I would rather not move."
"what?"
"I'm angry."
Zhu Yanhe, the stingy one.
He reached out and gripped the waist of the person before him, then lowered his head to kiss their soft lips. Ning Buyi seemed used to it, responding by opening his lips in response. This only emboldened him, and he aggressively probed inside, scavenging the remaining warmth within their mouth.
"Waaah..."
Her nimble, soft tongue entangled Ning Buyi, leading him and drawing him into this pleasure. He could only rely entirely on Zhu Yanhe before him, being taken from and desired.
Zhu Yanhe is despicable; he wants to be the one who reaps the rewards.
Zhu Zhu, hiding in the shadows, regretted not bringing her camera. Even if it broke, she would piece it back together and capture this earth-shattering scene.
"Idiot, are you trying to suffocate yourself?" Zhu Yanhe only separated with a satisfied expression when he was a little out of breath.
He leaned against Zhu Yanhe, his mind a complete blank, when his cheek suddenly felt warm as Zhu Yanhe breathed close to his ear.
"The consequences of being arrogant."
The jet-black sports car drove slowly through the night, almost blending into the darkness. Zhu Zhu, gripping the steering wheel, asked, "Brother, why are you pretending to be a girl and having an online romance with Jianjianbao?"
He glanced down at Ning Buyi, who was fast asleep with his head resting on his shoulder, and lowered his voice: "He doesn't like men."
Zhu Zhu glanced at the rearview mirror, speechless, and said, "Brother, that's not ethical of you."
Her brother even kissed her; how shameless!
Zhu Yanhe didn't want to reply to her. It was Ning Buyi's first time agreeing to be with him, and he had taken her first kiss. She couldn't just run away.
Zhu Zhu asked, "You're not planning to have an online relationship forever, are you?"
Zhu Yanhe opened her eyes again, unconsciously squeezing Ning Buyi's fair hand, and said lightly, "Is that not okay? Anyway, you'll stay by my side offline."
Since you've become attached to him, Zhu Yanhe, it'll be for life.
Zhu Zhu stared at the road ahead and didn't look back at Zhu Yanhe. Her brother was too crazy.
The next day, in the morning.
Ning Buyi rubbed his eyes and opened them. The sunlight outside the window had already climbed onto the bed. He sat up blankly, having no recollection of how he got back yesterday.
But Li Changyou.
Li Chang was numb when he saw Zhu Yanhe carrying someone in last night. What on earth was this guy doing? Wasn't he supposed to be out working? Why was he being carried back by Zhu Yanhe? This isn't right, brother.
That's what he thought, and that's what Ning Buyi asked him this morning as well.
Ning Buyi was just making excuses, saying that Zhu Yanhe would invite him to dinner if they ran into each other, and what's wrong with a good brother giving each other a hug? He couldn't even come up with a better reason for lying. Why should someone invite you to dinner just because you bump into them? Ultimately, their friendship had faded.
"Brother, what's wrong?" Ning Buyi waved his hand in front of him.
Li Chang waved his hand, his breath coming out empty: "Go away, go away, go play somewhere else."
"Brother, did you fail at your blind date again?" Ning Buyi wondered why his brother looked so pale.
Li Chang sighed deeply and said wistfully, "My son is all grown up and no good..."
He asked in confusion, "Don't you not have a son?"
Li Chang gave him a deep look, then sighed, "When are you two going to meet in real life?"
Li Chang wasn't in a hurry about his own affairs; the matter had fallen through once or twice.
He talks on the phone with his sister every day, so much so that Ning Buyi hasn't even thought about meeting her in real life yet. He's not sure if he's ready, and that's no small matter!
