Chapter 37 Jealous of Herself Zhu Zhu looked on with curiosity: ...
Zhu Zhu looked at her with curiosity: "Jianjianbao has a girlfriend? Who is she?"
Ning Buyi took out his phone and brought up Zhu Yanhe's WeChat profile: "This is my girlfriend."
Zhu Zhu peeked over and glanced at Ning Buyi, then casually asked, "Do you know her name?"
She recognized the profile picture and nickname on the screen; it was his brother's private account. But why couldn't she contact Jianjianbao's girlfriend?
"I usually call her 'sister' and 'baby,' how come I didn't know!" Ning Buyi suddenly realized. He didn't even know his sister's name, but his sister didn't know his either, so it wasn't allowed.
He tapped on the screen to send a message. In the past, he would have to send several messages, but Ning Buyi combined them into one long message. He didn't have much credit left because he had talked a lot with his sister that morning.
Zhu Zhu asked again, "Have you seen him before?"
He shook his head. He and his sister were in an online relationship, and he didn't know when they would meet in person.
Zhu Zhu didn't ask any more questions. She changed the subject: "Our Jianjianbao is indeed a lovable treasure."
Upon hearing this, Ning Buyi's cheeks flushed like the sunset, and he became embarrassed if you didn't praise him anymore.
"Sister Zhu, are you coming? I'll treat you to dinner!"
Ning Buyi's eyes shone brightly as he pleaded for her to grant his request. The afterglow of the setting sun adorned his long eyelashes, creating a scene as beautiful as an oil painting. No one could possibly refuse.
Zhu Zhu smiled and nodded, pulling him up to run towards the car together. The warm sand splashed onto his calves, and Ning Buyi started running uncontrollably. The figure in front of him was flamboyant and passionate.
Is she not feeling bad anymore? That's great!
Zhu Yanhe watched the two through the blacked-out privacy window, a smile he himself didn't even realize was playing on his lips. Ning Buyi gripped the door handle, pulled it but couldn't open it, then pressed his face against the car window, trying to peek inside.
Did Zhu Yanhe abandon the car and run away?
The man inside the car chuckled. His first thought wasn't to unlock the car, but to take out his phone and snap a picture of the pig face on the car window.
Who could resist taking pictures of Little Pig Ning Buyi? He certainly couldn't.
The car door opened, and Zhu Yanhe stepped out of the driver's seat as his leather shoes touched the sand.
Ning Buyi frowned and questioned him, "Why didn't you open the door when Zhu Yan and I were in the car?"
Zhu Yanhe said without changing his expression, "I was asleep and you woke me up."
Zhu Zhu remained silent. She looked her over from head to toe and saw no trace of her having slept. It was only natural that she had seen through her lie.
What exactly is her brother up to?
"Then open the door now!" Ning Buyi looked at him like he was an idiot, asking him to open the door and then inexplicably getting out of the car.
Zhu Yan and Chao Zhuzhu raised their chins: "Get in the car."
What do you mean?! You want to leave him here?
Zhu Zhu shrugged upon hearing this and walked to the other side to sit in the back seat.
"Hey Zhu Yanhe, what do you mean?" Ning Buyi looked up at him, if he didn't give a reason, he wouldn't be polite!
His bites can be very painful.
Zhu Yanhe stepped forward, grabbed Ning Buyi by the back of the neck, and forced him downwards with some force: "You're covered in sand, are you trying to get my car dirty? A car wash costs ten thousand, if you don't want to pay, then hold on tight."
Ning Buyi was about to explode when he heard what he had to say and immediately deflated. He braced himself against the driver's side window with both hands, his back slumped down. He said that a single bath cost 10,000 yuan, and the car was doing better than him. He only used a little water and a little soap to take a bath.
"No, no, can't I film it myself?"
Zhu Yanhe squinted at the back of his neck, leaned down and whispered in his ear, "Do you have eyes in the back of your head? You can take pictures yourself, but I can't stand a grain of sand in the car."
"Then I won't take the picture myself!" Ning Buyi was taken aback. The sand was so small that if he didn't see it, he would lose 10,000. If Zhu Yanhe took the picture, he could blame Zhu Yanhe!
The man chuckled, released his grip on the hand, and said, "Hold on your own. If you fall into the sand, you'll be stripping naked and getting on the bus."
"No, no, no." Ning Buyi said, spreading his legs a little wider, because triangles are stable!
Inside the car, Zhu Zhu was so shocked by the scene outside that she couldn't close her mouth. What on earth was her brother going to do?
Zhu Yanhe watched the almost seductive pose, her fingertips twitching slightly as they brushed against the black cotton fabric. Her wicked thoughts sprouted like bamboo shoots after a spring rain, impossible to suppress.
He gently patted the clothes covered in fine sand with his palm, wiping it away bit by bit. The person in front of him shifted, and Zhu Yanhe reached out and grabbed his waist: "Why are you moving around like that?"
"Zhu Yan, you're too slow! Are you even capable?" Ning Buyi turned to ask him. Is it really that hot today? Why is his face so red from the heat? Then hurry up and go inside to enjoy the air conditioning!
Zhu Zhu, sitting in the car, was already flustered by the air conditioning. From that angle, she could only see Ning Buyi's hand resting on the window and her brother behind her, but those words definitely reached her ears.
Although her brother does look like a celibate person, doesn't Jianjianbao know that her brother is his girlfriend?
"Almost there." Zhu Yanhe carefully brushed the last bit of sand off her skirt and helped him up by the hand.
Ning Buyi leaned against the car window and asked, "What are you doing?"
"There's sand in your socks, lift your leg." Zhu Yanhe's tone was as businesslike as if it were a formality.
He blankly said "Oh," and obediently lifted his leg; his shoes were full of sand from running over.
Zhu Yanhe squatted down, knelt on one knee, took his ankle, and took off his shoes, placing them naturally on his thigh.
Ning Buyi looked down as he slid his hands up his calves to his thighs, feeling a slight itch. [What's wrong with taking off socks? No wiping the edges, no stream of consciousness!!!]
He couldn't help but ask, "Zhu Yanhe, why are you being so nice to me?" He actually let him step on his shoes while he was changing them. Anyone else would have beaten him up.
The man's knuckles dug into the black stockings above the knee, peeling them down the fabric: "Because there's no one dumber than you in the world, lift your foot."
The stockings were pulled down to her calves, and Zhu Yanhe's gaze remained fixed on the mole on the inside of her skin, which adorned her fair complexion. He rubbed it a few times with his fingertips before finally taking the stockings off.
These words touched a nerve with the young emperor, and Ning Buyi bent down and bumped his forehead against him. He only calmed down after Zhu Yanhe pinched him.
On the other side, socks were quickly peeled off by Zhu Yanhe, just like that.
"Should we put them back on?" Zhu Yanhe asked, already casually stuffing the stockings into his pocket.
Ning Buyi shook her head, checking herself for any remaining sand: "No, no, it's uncomfortable being so tight."
Zhu Yanhe grunted in agreement, led him to the passenger side, and opened the door: "Get in."
He suddenly leaned closer, and Ning Buyi's breathing became lighter. He pushed the handsome face in front of him aside with one hand: "Zhu Yan, what are you doing!"
Zhu Yanhe reached out and pressed down on his fidgeting wrist, then pulled open the seatbelt and fastened it for him.
"Seatbelt, do you think everyone is interested in you? You think too highly of yourself."
He finally calmed down. He's so popular, what's wrong with being a little confident?
Zhu Zhu felt like she was going blind; she shouldn't be in the car, she should be under it.
But Ning Buyi didn't notice that all he could see was the sand that his shoes had brought up. Luckily, he hadn't swatted it away, or the money would have flown away.
The trees outside the window were gradually replaced by towering buildings, and the vehicles returned to the bustling city along the coastline.
"Zhu Yanhe, you said you'd take me to eat crabs a couple of days ago." He gripped the seatbelt and turned to wink at Zhu Yanhe.
He glanced at the person in the passenger seat out of the corner of his eye and asked, "Um, what do you want to eat today?"
"Yeah, yeah." Ning Buyi grinned, revealing his white teeth, looking like a fool.
"Can."
He observed Ning Buyi's reaction, but Ning Buyi wasn't as happy as he had imagined; instead, he became shy and awkward.
Ning Buyi said, "Then I'll take Sister Zhu Zhu with me."
Ah, he's waiting for him here.
He said firmly, "No."
The boy, his face puffed up with anger after being rejected, remained silent for a moment, then suddenly turned around and said, "I hate you!"
He replied indifferently, "Oh."
Ning Buyi grew angrier the more he thought about it: "I hate you! I hate you!"
"Um."
Zhu Zhu thought for a moment and chimed in, "It's okay, my little rascal, I don't have to go."
How could he do that! He should keep his word. Isn't Zhu Yanhe his good brother? Why won't he even agree to this!
Taking advantage of a red light, Ning Buyi bit his hand. There was no pain through the clothes. He shook his arm, but Ning Buyi still held on tightly to the clothes.
If we weren't waiting at a red light, he would have loved to take a picture of this scene: "Give in, I agree."
With a "click," Zhu Zhu held up his phone and recorded the scene. His sister did have some sense.
Ning Buyi then sat back down, chuckled, though his teeth ached a little.
Promising.
It was the same familiar storefront and the same familiar private room, the only difference being that there was one more person this time.
"Can I order anything today?" Ning Buyi asked him, turning to the side.
Zhu Yanhe nodded, and once he received permission, his subordinates immediately got to work. They skipped all the dishes that weren't good last time, and after a chaotic but orderly order, he handed the menu to Zhu Zhu, who was sitting opposite him.
"Sister Zhu, please order."
Zhu Zhu took the menu, casually ordered a few dishes, and glanced back and forth between the two people opposite her. She wondered when her brother had taken a liking to Jianjianbao, and whether Jianjianbao knew or not that his girlfriend was the woman next to him.
"You skipped class?" Zhu Yanhe asked.
Zhu Zhu crossed her legs and said, "I never wanted to work this lousy class in the first place."
He neither confirmed nor denied it, and he usually didn't care much about these things. If Ning Buyi hadn't called him, he definitely wouldn't have known.
Ning Buyi stared at the waiter as he brought the exquisitely plated dishes to the table: "Are you peeling them for me today too?"
He glanced at Ning Buyi; he had gotten used to using him as a tool last time.
Do you remember last time?
The boy nodded, biting his spoon: "I remember, I ate lots of delicious food."
That's it?
Upon hearing this, he frowned, as if searching his memory, and finally shook his head, unable to recall anything after that.
Zhu Yanhe snorted softly, a strange sense of displeasure rising within him, but this was exactly the result he wanted.
With her well-defined knuckles, Ning Buyi carefully dissected the crab using tools, her gaze fixed on the crab, while Zhu Zhu's gaze was fixed on the two of them.
Seriously? Her brother peeling crabs for someone else? When did he become so heartwarming? Is this the power of love?
Thinking of this, Zhu Zhu had a mischievous idea pop into her head: "You cheeky rascal, what kind of person do you think your girlfriend is?"
The question was directed at Ning Buyi, but his eyes were fixed on the man next to him who was peeling crabs for him.
"My sister is so good. She cares about me, has a lovely voice, and even sends me money..." He counted on his fingers, saying that his sister was the best in the world!
Zhu Zhu propped her chin on the table and asked, "Is your sister better or my brother?"
