Chapter 97 Young Master Ning Buyi's furrowed brows instantly relaxed...

Ning Buyi's furrowed brows instantly relaxed. So that's how it is. Old Man Zhu really knows how to do it!

"Dad, you're really amazing."

Zhu Guanghai glanced at him and said smugly, "Don't you know who I am?"

However, Zhu Guanghai later regretted it. Ning Buyi had been asking him questions all afternoon, and he hadn't even had a chance to look at the documents. Another thing was that Zhu Yanhe had gone out, and the mess had been dumped back on him.

He still has to go to work now; those leisurely days are long gone.

"Can't you do a problem yourself first!" Zhu Guanghai used his scepter to push his chair away and shoved the person who had moved over again back.

"I won't do that, Dad!" Ning Buyi grinned. He still had many ways of thinking to learn, so of course he couldn't.

The sun was high in the sky and setting in the west. Zhu Guanghai glanced at the time wearily. It was just past the end of the workday. He stood up with a sigh of relief. The boy next to him was still engrossed in writing his exam paper.

Zhu Guanghai scratched the back of his head, wondering if Zhu Yanhe was secretly messing with his father.

The conversation in the room fell silent. Zhu Guanghai left work on time, leaving Ning Buyi to write by herself. A moment later, a figure appeared at the door. Zhu Yanhe was standing there like a parent picking up their child from school: "He's gone."

Ning Buyi raised his head upon hearing the voice, looking smug: "I was really awesome today, Zhu Yanhe."

How can someone be so smart?

Zhu Yanhe walked over and packed his schoolbag, raising an eyebrow slightly, and asked, "What's wrong?"

Ning Buyi gestured wildly, demonstrating how he annoyed Zhu Guanghai. His face would furrow in mock anger one moment and then break into a mischievous grin the next, his lively expressions reflected in Zhu Yanhe's eyes.

"How did you come up with this idea?" Zhu Yanhe picked up the backpack with one hand and slung it over her shoulder, then led him along.

He patted his chest and said in a stern tone, "I hope Old Man Zhu takes your place. They can't bully you."

Old Man Zhu and Zhu Yanhe didn't get along, and he automatically assumed that Old Man Zhu had driven Zhu Yanhe away, otherwise why would Old Man Zhu be doing Zhu Yanhe's job now?

"Thank you." Zhu Yanhe bent down and gently kissed his cheek.

The employees who were a little late leaving get off work watched as their boss led a kettle of boiling water out the door.

The car's heater circulated, giving Ning Buyi a slightly flushed face from lack of oxygen. Zhu Yanhe, gripping the steering wheel, spoke through the background noise of his phone:

"I have something to do these next few days, so I'll have a different driver pick you up."

Ning Buyi was sitting in the passenger seat, engrossed in playing a game. Upon hearing this, his hand, which had been hovering in the air, paused for a moment, and he obediently said "Oh."

He ate much less at dinner, which was unusual for him. Zhu Yan frowned and asked him what was wrong. Ning Buyi just shook his head. He had eaten a lot of snacks in the afternoon to stop being hungry.

Zhu Yanhe rubbed his temples and stopped thinking about it.

As the soft cotton bed sank into the night, Zhu Yanhe washed up and lay down on the bed. Ning Buyi didn't snuggle into his arms like before; instead, he kept his distance. Only then did Zhu Yanhe realize that Ning Buyi was throwing a tantrum again.

The man spoke gently, "What's wrong?"

"I kind of dislike you, so I'm staying away from you." The boy had his back to him, clutching the quilt tightly around himself, leaving only his head sticking out.

"Because I didn't have time to pick you up?" Zhu Yanhe moved closer and hugged the boy from behind. He could wrap his arm around the boy's waist. He was only a little bit thin, but he ate quite a lot.

Ning Buyi didn't break free either: "A little bit, and a little bit more, is because you abandoned me and left me to go to work by myself."

Zhu Yanhe was supposed to take him to work, but now he's dumped himself on Old Man Zhu. I hate Zhu Yanhe.

Zhu Yanhe thought for a moment and asked, "So you don't want to go to work?"

The person in his arms stirred. He loosened his grip on the corner of the blanket, leaving marks of his exertion on the blanket. He slowly turned to face Zhu Yanhe.

He still quite likes going to work; his colleagues are all very nice, and his father is also quite good, although he can be quite mean at times.

"I really want to."

Zhu Yanhe chuckled softly, his arm around Ning Buyi's neck and shoulder. He understood that Ning Buyi wanted him to accompany him to work. A warm feeling welled up inside the man; he thoroughly appreciated Ning Buyi's need.

"I've been very busy lately, but things will be better in a while."

"Can I help you?"

"Okay, but you have to take good care of yourself for me." Zhu Yanhe nuzzled against his neck, his thin lips brushing against the soft flesh, and he inhaled the faint scent of freshness emanating from him.

"Then I'll reluctantly help you." He closed his eyes and uttered each word slowly, his voice growing softer and softer until he fell asleep.

The tranquil darkness was bathed in a warm, dim light. Zhu Yanhe listened to the even breathing beside him and gently patted his back as if soothing a child to sleep.

The boy looked so adorable as he slept, his soft cheeks puffed up, his long eyelashes fluttering gently with his breath. Zhu Yanhe touched them lightly; he just wanted it to be quick, quick...

A light mist rose in the morning, and the view from the higher floors was like a fairyland. Ning Buyi rubbed his eyes and stood on the carpet waiting for Zhu Yanhe to dress him. Only when the layers of clothes stuck to his body did he realize that so much time had passed.

He has already spent two seasons here.

"I'll still deliver lunch to him as usual. If you don't want to go this afternoon, just tell him that someone will pick you up after get off work." Zhu Yanhe buttoned his shirt, like an adult instructing a child.

Zhu Yanhe now truly feels like he's raising a child. He misses Ning Buyi every time he doesn't see him and sends him messages from time to time to check on him. If he could, he'd really like to install a camera on Ning Buyi.

Ning Buyi was wrapped up so that only his head was showing. He smiled and said, "Zhu Yanhe, you weren't like this before."

Zhu Yanhe continued working on his hands and casually asked, "What was I like before?"

The boy raised his hands and put them on his hips: "Do you think that if the line of men chasing you stretched all of France, you'd still be stunningly beautiful, and that everyone would fall for you!"

Zhu Yanhe smiled slightly, ignoring his teasing, and leaned down to kiss the boy's soft lips.

"You have a good memory."

They hold grudges quite a bit.

Ning Buyi sat down at his workstation as usual. In the morning, Tan Yu had assigned him some tasks, such as printing some documents and delivering them to the president's office.

Tan Yu told him to start step by step, to learn the basics first and then move on to the details. Ning Buyi ran around all morning, going back and forth between Tan Yu, the printer, and Old Man Zhu. Zhu Guanghai looked at the door that was about to open and close in a moment and asked sincerely, "Can't you just print it all out at once and come over?"

Ning Buyi scratched his head and said "Oh," wondering why he hadn't told him sooner, making him run around so many times.

"There's a party tonight, you're coming with me," Zhu Guanghai replied, flipping through the documents his subordinate had just handed him, his glasses on.

Ning Buyi looked around, but there was no one there.

Him?

Zhu Guanghai explained speechlessly, "The other assistants are too unfamiliar, so I'll choose you."

"Dad, don't you still have men in black?" Ning Buyi asked, puzzled, as he shuffled outside.

Hearing this, Zhu Guanghai didn't even look up: "I won't deduct your salary."

The footsteps grew louder as he left, accompanied by a loud slam of the door. Ning Buyi stormed out, then turned back, adding, "I'll go, but don't deduct my salary."

Zhu Guanghai watched him return again, then looked at the bodyguard standing motionless beside him: "Hey, look at this kid, he's so funny."

As the sun quietly hung in the sky at the end of the workday, a familiar car was parked at the company entrance. Ning Buyi jogged a few steps and opened the passenger door, only to find that it wasn't Zhu Yanhe in the driver's seat.

Just as he was about to get into the back seat, a loud, energetic voice called out to him. Zhu Guanghai, sitting inside the car, called out to him. Ning Buyi looked over at the voice and asked, "Old Man Zhu, what do you want?"

Zhu Guanghai said, "Didn't we say it was a party? Get in the car."

"Isn't it evening? It's only afternoon now." Ning Buyi said this, but he had already gotten into the car. There were two men in black sitting in the car. He had already desensitized.

"I'll have to eat and change clothes, there's not much time for you." Zhu Guanghai looked at his phone screen, the font of the novel inside was several times larger.

Ning Buyi looked at himself: "Zhu Yanhe won't let me change my clothes."

Zhu Yanhe was afraid he would catch a cold again, so she repeatedly told him not to change his clothes, or he would be spanked. But he refused.

Zhu Guanghai turned his head, looking puzzled: "Zhu Yanhe abused you?"

Why won't they let us change our clothes?

Ning Buyi: "No."

What else is there to say?

The spacious luxury store was perfectly lit, with only mannequins in the center wearing the latest seasonal items. There were only a few pieces of clothing in the outer store. Zhu Guanghai sat in the inner room reading a novel. The space was so quiet that only the sound of breathing could be heard. Two bodyguards stood on his left and right sides.

Inside the fitting room, Ning Buyi adjusted his suit. The well-tailored suit fit him perfectly, highlighting his taut waistline. Although Ning Buyi wasn't very tall, he was still quite tall with long legs, and he looked very stylish in the suit.

He lifted the curtain and stepped out the door, his leather shoes making a crisp sound on the white floor tiles. Ning Buyi was a little unaccustomed to wearing them for the first time, and he became more reserved as he walked.

Zhu Guanghai looked up at the tapping sound and couldn't help but rub his chin. Zhu Yanhe still didn't have the same taste as his father. What was he wearing before?

The stylist's team waited on the side. Zhu Guanghai raised his hand, and several people stepped forward and surrounded Ning Buyi. Before he knew what was going on, he was already being placed in a chair.

"Mr. Zhu, what style are you looking for?"

Zhu Guanghai looked up and thought for a moment, then said, "Be more mature, don't act like a child."

Once the stylist received the instruction, he began to work on Ning Buyi's hair without giving him a chance to speak. The hair was manipulated by the stylist's hands, the hair that went past the eyebrows flowed backward, and the black hair that was originally hanging down in front of his forehead was combed up to become a side slick.

A short while later, the stylist finished work and turned the chair that was facing the mirror so that he was facing the person on the sofa.

"Alright, Mr. Zhu."

Zhu Guanghai's eyes followed the phone for a couple of seconds before he looked up. He then stood up and nodded repeatedly, "Okay, you look much better now that you've tidied yourself up."

What does it mean to act like a human being? It means to remain calm and not get angry, and to keep quiet.

He turned to look at himself in the mirror, his beautiful eyebrows and eyes fully revealed, his entire body exquisite down to every single strand of hair, and the navy blue suit made his skin appear even whiter.

When he followed Zhu Guanghai out of the inner room, he attracted the attention of the crowd. The manager in charge of the guests outside couldn't help but open his mouth when he saw the little boy come out again. When he went in, he could only be described as a pampered young master, but now Ning Buyi exuded the word "noble" from head to toe.

On the way to the basement, he was constantly being stared at, and he felt a little embarrassed as he slightly curled his lips.
