Chapter 23 The Wind God on Blue Star (Part 1)

After deciding to visit Earth, Venti spent several days busking, exchanging Mora for over a dozen bottles of Dandelion Wine. For this, she even received a disdainful look from Diluc, but Venti didn't seem to care much. She hid the wine behind her cloak, held a bunch of Cecilia flowers, and after thinking for a moment, picked a few windmill daisies, as well as sunset berries, and a wild ice slime to bring ice wine.

"Confirm teleportation to Earth?"

"Sure."

"Location in progress, please wait... Location successful."

A portal appeared before Wendy. Looking at the things he had brought, he realized he had a lot, so he hid everything on his person and went in carrying only the slime.

The familiar dizzying sensation came over Wendy. As soon as she stepped onto the land of Blue Star, she felt the pressure of Blue Star's world laws descending upon her. It was like when you were playing on your phone in class, and when you looked up, your homeroom teacher was quietly watching you, and then the eyes of the whole class were on you.

What made Wendy even more uncomfortable was that the teleportation point was in a crowded place.

"Mmm!" The ice slime somehow managed to break free from Wendy's embrace, bouncing around. Wendy was startled, ignoring the surprised and delighted looks from those around her. All Wendy was thinking was: I can't let the slime get away, or I won't be able to chill my drinks!

Thank goodness, Venti finally caught the Ice Slime. However, Venti felt his power was severely suppressed. He could only control the breeze, not fly or create wind fields. So now, Venti was holding the Ice Slime, looking around at the tall buildings in confusion.

"There are so many people, what should I do?" Venti was starting to regret his impulsive actions. If he wanted to return to Teyvat, he still had seven days left on the cooldown period. However, curiosity always managed to suppress his fear. Venti carried the Ice Slime around aimlessly, and the Ice Slime, sensing the laws of Earth's world, abandoned its attempt to escape.

Somehow, Wendy encountered quite a few people dressed in strange clothes as she walked along, clothes that were different from the people she had seen along the way.

"Hello? Are you a cosplayer too?" Suddenly, Wendy felt someone tap her on the shoulder. Startled, she turned around and saw a blue-haired boy smiling at her. The boy said, "If you're a cosplayer, go through that passage. By the way, your Wendy cosplay is so accurate! Can I take a picture with you?"

"Um, sorry, I didn't bring any money, and I don't know how to get here," Wendy replied, hugging the slime in her arms even tighter. The boy was taken aback; he had never seen anyone come out without money. "My name is Qin Zhe, what's yours?" "Wendy, I just arrived from Teyvat, but, hehe, don't tell anyone, okay?" Wendy whispered in Qin Zhe's ear, finally getting to see Qin Zhe's ever-changing expression.

"Really him? No way!" Qin Zhe screamed softly and then grabbed Wendy. Wendy showed Qin Zhe the ice slime in her arms and said, "Try touching it and you'll know." "Wow, so cold! Okay, I believe you." Qin Zhe stuck out his tongue. "There's a big anime convention going on around here. I'm cosplaying an anime character, but there are definitely a lot of people cosplaying you."

"What is 'Kou Si'? What is 'Kou Se'?" Wendy asked. Qin Zhe thought for a moment and said, "It's like role-playing. Let's go, let's go, I'll pay for it for you."

On the way, Qin Zhe gave Wendy a general explanation of the current situation on Blue Star. Because of Wendy's presence, the environment and prices in Dragon Kingdom had improved, and people could now basically afford to eat meat. He also taught Wendy some basic knowledge. Finally, Qin Zhe said, "Don't stray too far from me, or I won't be able to find you." "It's okay, the wind is my ears, I'll know where you are," Wendy said with a smile.

Damn it, is this the sense of security that the Wind God provides? Qin Zhe turned his head away, not daring to look Wendy in the eye.

"We've arrived at the comic convention, let's go in." After buying the tickets, Qin Zhe turned to Wendy and said. Wendy nodded and followed Qin Zhe into the convention venue.

The convention was crowded. Looking around, Wendy saw many people cosplaying as well as others dressed in everyday clothes. Of course, Wendy also saw people cosplaying themselves, with varying degrees of accuracy. However, as Qin Zhe had said, no matter what, anyone who came here in a cosplay outfit deserved basic respect.

"Qin Zhe, Qin Zhe, is there anywhere I can put my things?" Wendy said. "I brought some good stuff that everyone can try." "Really? I'll go talk to the staff," Qin Zhe replied, and found a staff member to negotiate.

Qin Zhe must be quite familiar with the staff. Wendy thought, because she overheard Qin Zhe persuade the staff with just a few words, and the staff led Qin Zhe to an empty platform. Then Qin Zhe walked towards her and pulled her onto the platform.

“There are Teyvat sunset fruits, Starcliff Cecilia flowers, and the local specialty Windmill daisies, and also, a dozen or so bottles of fine wine that I bought from the Angels’ Gift.” Wendy placed the Ice Slime on the display stand, quickly arranged a bunch of wines around it, and gave the Ice Slime a look: If you want to go back to Teyvat, then you'd better stay put.

Ice Slime: Have some decency!

Next, after arranging the other items, Qin Zhe made a phone call to someone, and soon after, a bunch of disposable paper cups were placed on the display stand.

The delicate fragrance of Cecilia flowers, the aroma of the wine gifted by the Mondstadt angels, and the sweet scent of sunset fruit quickly attracted many people. Qin Zhe wrote a few words: "Fine wine, fresh flowers, you'll regret it for the rest of your life if you miss it! Free wine tasting, one small glass per person."

Someone asked: Is your wine real or fake?

Wendy: "Really, even more so than Mora."

"Is your liquor made of gold particles, or is the bottle made of gold particles?"

"Are you deliberately picking a fight? Just tell me if you're going to drink or not."

"If you really mean it, I'll definitely drink it."

"Okay, drink it!" Wendy poured a glass for the man, who then drank it.

"It's so delicious! I want more!"

"One drink per person, no bargaining!"

This is what you call a "big surprise" moment.

Wendy pulled out a xylophone from somewhere and started playing Teyvat's history. Qin Zhe was pouring drinks and selling flowers. Suddenly, Wendy's place was packed with people, many of whom came to join in the fun.

(I'll move on to the next stage as soon as possible! I'm really bad at writing about daily life!)
