With final exams approaching, the atmosphere on campus became tense and heavy. Everyone was doing their best to prepare. Fortunately, the students of Yunnan University were smart. Even someone like Guo Jiahe, who had poor grades, could pass the exams with a little effort.
But most people don't want to pass; they want to be number one, which symbolizes dignity, and to receive a scholarship that belongs to the top.
Around the large table in the library, Li Peiyu's roommates were all gathered together studying, but Guo Jiahe was the only one missing.
Li Peiyu turned slightly to face Tian Yuan and asked in a low voice, "Where's Guo Jiahe? She has the worst grades, why hasn't she come to study for several days?"
Tian Yuan frowned and replied softly, "I'm not quite sure either. She clearly came out with us when we left together, but halfway there she said she was going to the bathroom, and then I never saw her again."
Sitting across from her, Lin Wanwan said, "In the past, she would always ask me to highlight the important points for her during exams. I don't know what's wrong with her this year; the exam is in two days, and she doesn't seem worried at all."
Li Peiyu texted Guo Jiahe: Want to fail the course? Go to the library to study right now.
There was no reply for a long time.
Li Peiyu closed her advanced mathematics textbook, thinking that she would definitely interrogate her when she saw her.
Next, Li Peiyu stuffed the advanced mathematics textbook she had reviewed into her bag, and then took out a political science textbook from her bag.
Political and ideological education courses are mostly dry and require memorization. Top students may not be afraid of advanced mathematics, but they find political and ideological education courses quite troublesome, and Li Peiyu is no exception.
When final exams approach, political education always seems to take a toll on her.
But Li Peiyu searched through her bag several times but couldn't find the political education textbook.
Li Peiyu slapped her forehead, "Oh dear, I don't think I brought my political science textbook. I guess I left it in the dorm."
Tian Yuan quickly said, "Then watch me."
“You still want to look at this? I’ll go back and get it. I’ll also take a quick look around; it’s giving me a bit of a headache.” Li Peiyu stood up.
When Li Peiyu returned to her dormitory, the scene before her was absolutely terrifying.
Guo Jiahe was secretly wearing her short skirt, dancing provocatively, occasionally lifting her skirt with her hand. She had a phone set up in front of her, and was doing a live stream.
Everyone else was studying hard in the library, while Guo Jiahe was studying hard in his dorm room.
Upon noticing Li Peiyu's sudden return, Guo Jiahe immediately stopped what she was doing and said in a strained voice, "Brothers, I'll go offline for a bit." She then immediately ended the live stream.
"Peiyu..." Guo Jiahe said softly, feeling a little guilty.
"Guo Jiahe, what are you doing here instead of studying?" Li Peiyu asked with a slightly reproachful tone.
"As you can see, I'm live streaming," Guo Jiahe replied softly.
After listening, Li Peiyu remained silent for a while, thinking to herself that many people are indeed doing live streaming now, and quite a few earn millions a month through it. It might not be impossible for Guo Jiahe to take this path; perhaps it could be a way out.
"Sister Yu, I was wrong. I... I just wanted to make some money," Guo Jiahe said timidly.
"Mm," Li Peiyu simply replied.
"Hmm?" Guo Jiahe was somewhat puzzled by this brief response.
"Mmm," Li Peiyu replied softly.
"That's it? You're not going to scold me? You really don't object?" Guo Jiahe asked, her eyes wide with disbelief.
"Why would I scold you? And why would I object?" Li Peiyu replied calmly.
"Thank you, Sister Yu. I didn't expect you to be so open-minded," Guo Jiahe said with a look of surprise.
“I’m not your father, why shouldn’t I be open-minded?” Li Peiyu shrugged, his tone slightly teasing.
“Keep playing, let me watch,” Li Peiyu said with interest, arms crossed.
"Okay." Guo Jiahe started the live stream again.
Li Peiyu opened Douyin (TikTok) and watched the live stream while also observing the scene. The beauty filters and effects were just too much.
Guo Jiahe was a little reserved watching from the sidelines. Li Peiyu smiled and sent a small gift worth 99 yuan as encouragement.
When Guo Jiahe saw Li Peiyu sending gifts, his emotions immediately soared, and he became bolder.
Li Peiyu stared at her phone, and to be honest, Guo Jiahe's dancing was pretty good, quite alluring, and somewhat appealing.
She has no reason not to support her sister's career.
First, send a wave of 520s (May 20th) gifts, yachts, and airplanes, then send a few rockets to send your sisters to heaven.
Guo Jiahe looked at the screen filled with gifts and excitedly said in a high-pitched voice, "Thank you 'Yu Ni Wei Di' for the rocket, love you, mwah!"
Li Peiyu was so engrossed in the joy of being the top fan that she completely forgot about her political education textbook.
Lin Wanwan and the others were a little worried when Li Peiyu didn't return for a long time. So they packed up their textbooks and hurried back to the dormitory.
As soon as the door opened, wow, Guo Jiahe was dancing so sassily.
Li Peiyu was so happy, she was practically laughing like an idiot while holding her phone.
Lin Wanwan glared fiercely at the two idiots, her anger rising.
Guo Jiahe felt uneasy under Lin Wanwan's gaze and hurriedly turned off the live stream.
Li Peiyu also guiltily put her phone down quietly.
"Do you two know you have exams the day after tomorrow? Guo Jiahe, did your parents raise you to go to Yunnan University so you could become an entertainment anchor?" Lin Wanwan angrily shouted.
“Live streaming isn’t exactly an illegitimate profession. Being an entertainment streamer is pretty good too.” Tian Yuan seemed a little excited.
"Shut up." Lin Wanwan said in a cute but fierce tone.
Usually, Li Peiyu is the one who throws tantrums, and Lin Wanwan just endures it like a submissive wife.
Now, it's different.
Li Peiyu and Guo Jiahe were so engrossed in live streaming that they neglected their studies. Lin Wanwan felt she had to step forward, speak out for justice, and take responsibility for rectifying the dormitory's discipline.
