Chapter 65 Sending the Lamb into the Tiger's Mouth

"I, I, I need to go to the restroom," Li Peiyu blurted out in a panic.

“There’s a bathroom in your room.” With that, Gu Yan helped Li Peiyu up and took her back to her room without further ado.

Li Peiyu was furious. She was about to jump over, but now she was back at the starting point.

After Gu Yan left, Li Peiyu's stubbornness returned, and she was determined to complete her plan.

This time, she chose to crawl forward, gritting her teeth and inching her way forward. Finally, she laboriously reached Lu Yuzhi's door, only to discover a monumental problem.

She lay on the ground and realized that she couldn't reach the doorknob at all.

Li Peiyu was so angry that she pounded the ground, filled with regret. Why hadn't she thought of this when she started climbing?

Li Peiyu was trying to get up by supporting herself on the floor when a figure suddenly appeared in front of her.

It's Aunt Li.

Aunt Li quietly opened the door for her.

"Thank you, Aunt Li." Li Peiyu blushed with embarrassment.

Aunt Li saw through it but didn't say anything. She watched Li Peiyu climb in, helped her to bed, and gently closed the door.

In the darkness, Li Peiyu vaguely didn't know what time it was when she heard Lu Yuzhi push open the door, followed by the sound of the bathroom door opening and the sound of rushing water.

Li Peiyu shrank her head under the covers, pursing her lips in secret smugness.

Finally, Lu Yuzhi came out of the bathroom, picked up the phone on the table by the moonlight, and stared intently at the screen.

Li Peiyu was feeling restless in bed, wondering why he wasn't asleep yet.

Lu Yuzhi wanted to send a message to Li Peiyu, but he was afraid of disturbing her sleep, so he hesitated for a long time.

It was still sent.

Just then, Li Peiyu's phone rang inside the room.

Although it was just a faint sound, Lu Yu was extremely alert. He walked to the bedside, turned on the light, and there, nestled on the bed, was a steamed bun.

Having been traumatized by Su Wenqing's attempt to climb into his bed before, Lu Yuzhi cautiously lifted the covers and saw Li Peiyu's face buried in the sheets.

Lu Yuzhi laughed. Was she burying her head in the sand? Did she think that just because she couldn't see him, he couldn't see her either?
