Chapter 90 Dealing with Qiao An

“An entertainment company,” Li Peiyu replied.

"That sounds very unreliable." Wang Boyang frowned, a look of doubt on his face.

“I know a singer, and I know he’s destined for fame. I’m going to sign him,” Li Peiyu said confidently.

"Are you really sure?" Wang Boyang was still somewhat skeptical.

"Okay. I'll call him and ask where he is." Li Peiyu said as she took out her phone, preparing to dial Jiang Shuchen's number.

"Shuchen, I'm Li Peiyu. Do you remember me? The one with Stitch." Li Peiyu's voice carried a hint of anticipation.

"I remember." Jiang Shuchen's voice was clearly happy.

Where are you? I need to talk to you about something.

Jiang Shuchen looked at the small, shabby bed in front of him. He lived in a basement; how could he possibly invite someone over? "I'm going to sing at a bar tonight. Come find me."

“Okay,” Li Peiyu replied without hesitation.

"Then I'll send you the address. Can you bring Lin Wanwan over?" Jiang Shuchen asked.

“Sure, I’ll wait.” Li Peiyu readily agreed, already eager to see him.

That evening, the lights flickered and the music was deafening in the Ins Bar. Li Peiyu and Wang Boyang sat quietly in a dimly lit corner, waiting for Jiang Shuchen.

Finally, it was Jiang Shuchen's turn to appear. The moment he grasped the microphone, the entire bar seemed to be enveloped by his aura.

As soon as Jiang Shuchen opened his mouth, his clear and magnetic voice instantly pierced through the noisy environment. Li Peiyu was amazed and involuntarily stood up from her seat, staring intently at Jiang Shuchen on the stage, listening in a daze.

The book says he sings well, but only when you hear him sing live can you truly appreciate how captivating his voice is.

After a few songs, Jiang Shuchen temporarily left the stage. Li Peiyu then seemed to wake up from her daze and turned to ask Wang Boyang, "How was it? Can you become a top star?"

"You sang alright, but there are plenty of people who sing well. It's not enough to just sing well to become famous," Wang Boyang said rationally, frowning slightly.

“But I know he can do it.” Li Peiyu’s eyes were full of determination and confidence.

“If you say it’s okay, then it’s okay. I’ll invest with you,” Wang Boyang said without hesitation.

"Really? How much?" Li Peiyu's eyes widened in surprise.

"I sold my sports car and joined you," Wang Boyang said nonchalantly.

"What if we lose money?" Li Peiyu couldn't help but worry.

"It's alright, investing always involves risk. Don't blame yourself if you lose money," Wang Boyang patted Li Peiyu on the shoulder, comforting her.

"You trust me so much? You just decided to invest?" Li Peiyu looked at Wang Boyang with emotion.

“You gave me 600,000 yuan before, didn’t you just give it to me like that?” Wang Boyang said with a smile.

"It's only 600,000. You'll earn that much after you graduate. I'm not worried about you not paying me back," Li Peiyu said with a smile, a hint of teasing in her eyes.

"It's just a car, a means of transportation." Wang Boyang waved his hand dismissively, his expression relaxed and carefree.
