Between their lips and teeth, there is endless longing and yearning, wanting to convey all the pain and longing since their separation to each other through a lingering kiss.
"Come with me. I've already taken care of things with Grandpa," Lu Yuzhi said softly as he pulled away from Li Peiyu's lips.
"So fast?" Li Peiyu's eyes were full of surprise.
"Fast? 45 days. I endured 45 days." Lu Yuzhi stared intently at Li Peiyu, his eyes burning with intense passion.
"Come with me to the other side."
Li Peiyu turned to look across the street, and lo and behold, it was a hotel. Her face instantly turned bright red, and she said coquettishly, "You're quite observant."
"Nonsense, do you think I came here to chat and reminisce?" Lu Yuzhi raised an eyebrow and smiled.
Inside the hotel, Lu Yuzhi lay comfortably, the blanket half-covering his waist, revealing his muscular upper body.
Li Peiyu knelt beside him, her eyes gentle as water, holding his injured hand, reluctant to let go.
"How did you get injured?" Li Peiyu asked softly, her voice full of concern and heartache.
The necklace he had given her glittered around her neck; she wore it constantly, and Lu Yuzhi was very pleased.
"Do you love me?" Lu Yuzhi didn't answer directly, but instead asked this question, his eyes filled with affection.
“Yes.” Li Peiyu nodded without hesitation, her gaze firm and affectionate.
"I've taken care of things with Grandpa. Can we cancel the one-year agreement now?" Lu Yuzhi looked at Li Peiyu expectantly.
"No." Li Peiyu gently shook her head.
"Why?" Lu Yuzhi sat up, looking puzzled and confused.
