"Name... Hera, Gender: Female."
I like all kinds of food...
Strange quirk... likes to go to the toilet after others have finished?
Xinglan's lips twitched as she looked at Hera, whom she was leading, with a strange expression.
"Why do you have this kind of quirk? Do you find the toilet too cold?"
Xinglan wiped the sweat from her brow and glanced at the scorching sun hanging in the sky.
"This awful weather! Even the refrigerator is hot, and the toilet isn't cold at all."
Hera just stared blankly at Xinglan, tilting her head.
"Sigh~" Then her gaze shifted to the small note.
When she saw one of the passages, her eyes lit up instantly!
"Because of some traumatic experience, she suffered amnesia... and her intelligence has severely declined!" Xinglan excitedly hugged Hera tightly, repeatedly saying, "I understand, I understand!"
"You must be some kind of incredibly powerful figure, right? But due to certain reasons, your comrades or loved ones passed away! Or you were hurt by love, so you took the initiative to give up the past, right? Right!"
Hera was held tightly by Xinglan and bounced around. If Hera hadn't been so tall, she might have suffocated like the poor creature before.
What's the deal with that girl?
"I don't know, I guess he got into his dream university."
Wow! Is it yuri? This is so sweet!
Among the crowds coming and going on the street, people whispered among themselves at Xinglan's strange behavior, and some even took out their phones to take pictures.
Holding Hera, Xinglan glanced at the surrounding gazes, her little face immediately turning bright red.
He grabbed Hera's hand and walked quickly forward.
"Damn it, damn it, this is so embarrassing!" Xinglan muttered to herself. She quickened her pace a little more.
...
In the market.
"Hey, this cup is pretty nice, it can be used as a toothbrush cup."
This quilt is great, it's like a starry sky, I'll buy it.
Hey, this SpongeBob is cute too, and this Smurf one is nice too, Hera, which one do you want!
Xinglan, holding a SpongeBob SquarePants blanket in one hand and a Smurfs blanket in the other, looked at Hera with a hint of excitement.
"Hmm..." Hera looked at the two colorful blankets and fell into deep thought.
The two girls spent a long time shopping. In fact, most of the time Xinglan was picking out things, while Hera just stood by and watched.
Moreover, women really don't feel tired when shopping. Xinglan took Hera shopping all afternoon. If it were any other girl, she would probably have collapsed long ago, but Xinglan always seemed to have inexhaustible energy and kept taking Hera shopping.
It was thanks to Hera that he had plenty of energy; otherwise, he would have been worn down and killed sooner or later.
Xinglan hummed a little tune and skipped back to the location of Xingxing Hair Salon.
"Over the mountains and across the sea, there lives a group of Smurfs."
"Hera~ We bought so much stuff this time, it cost me a lot of money, but don't worry, I have plenty of money! You can buy whatever you want in the future, just don't forget me." Xinglan was carrying two small bags, looking very youthful and energetic.
Hera, whose belongings had piled up into a small mountain behind her, no longer looked so youthful and energetic. For the first time, a hint of speechlessness flashed across her usually expressionless face.
Xinglan did indeed pay for it, but after discovering that Hera was incredibly strong, she piled a bunch of things onto Hera.
Hera wouldn't have taken so much stuff if Xinglan hadn't bought her two sausages.
The two girls walked one after the other towards the Starry Sky Hair Salon, bathed in the setting sun, just like the sun about to set and it was time to go home.
...
The moon hung high in the night sky, and a dark cloud slowly obscured it, making the dimly lit street even darker.
A black stray cat that had been rummaging through the trash by the roadside suddenly looked up in a certain direction, then meowed and left.
"There are so few people here, and even stray cats. I wonder if there are any rental places around here." A somewhat thin young man walked down the street, constantly looking around.
Suddenly his gaze fell on an old-fashioned residential building. There were no other buildings around it, only some green belts, trees and open spaces. It looked inconspicuous yet revealed a hint of eeriness.
The man walked up and saw a notice posted on the door.
"Rental... 300 a month, 15 a day! Great! No more sleeping on the streets!"
BOOM BOOM BOOM—!
With excitement in his heart, the man gently knocked on the door.
A few minutes later, they heard footsteps slowly approaching.
Squeak—
The old iron gate was opened, and an elderly man with white hair stood at the door.
"Are you here to rent a room?" the old man asked in a slightly hoarse voice.
"Yes, ma'am, I was wondering if you still rent this place?" the man said somewhat awkwardly, not knowing why. He felt a strange unease looking at the old woman in front of him.
The old man glanced at the man and then beckoned him in.
"Come in." Then he stepped inside.
The man followed somewhat nervously, making sure to close the door behind him.
The old man glanced at the man who had closed the door and spoke in a hoarse voice.
"Young man, are you alone?"
"Yes, I just came to this city to work and I don't know anyone yet."
