After the one-armed girl left, many more new recruits came to the armory to get their weapons. Before long, there were nearly twenty people in the armory.
“Let’s team up.” Hera walked up to Coco and suddenly blurted out.
"Ah, oh, right, we definitely need to team up! Otherwise, we won't be able to beat the instructors." Coco hesitated for a moment before quickly nodding in agreement.
Coco then looked around and asked, "So, who should we team up with? We can't just team up with everyone."
"Choose the best one."
"So who's the best?"
“Those who are strong are indeed powerful,” Hera said expressionlessly.
Coco froze, her little brain starting to work at lightning speed, trying to understand the deeper meaning of Hera's words.
Meanwhile, Hera had already walked over to a new recruit and started directly asking him about his strength.
"Are you good? Can we team up?"
The new recruit was initially startled, but upon seeing Hera's angelic beauty and the clarity in her eyes, he blushed and felt as if his spring had arrived.
"Don't worry, Miss, with my strength, I'm..."
boom--!
Before the recruit could finish speaking, an explosion suddenly occurred at the entrance of the armory, followed by a figure flying backward at an extremely fast speed.
He knocked the recruit in front of Hera away, and the recruit instantly lost consciousness.
Yan Wusheng struggled to his feet, wiped the blood from the corner of his mouth, glanced at the recruit he had knocked unconscious, and cursed with disgust.
"Tch! What bad luck."
"Go ahead and run! You think you're so fast?!" A drill instructor in a dirty uniform walked out of the smoke from the explosion, his face full of anger.
Upon seeing Yan Wusheng, his eyes practically blazed with fury.
When Yan Wusheng saw the instructor emerging from the smoke, he hurriedly turned and rushed toward the firearms hanging on the wall.
Just as Instructor Hongwei raised his hand to detonate the rocket, Yan Wusheng picked up a rocket launcher and pulled the trigger without hesitation, shooting Instructor Hongwei.
"Damn it! You're insane! Using this thing indoors!" Instructor Hongwei cursed angrily.
The next moment, the rocket launcher ammunition exploded, and a fierce wave of fire instantly engulfed the entire armory.
"Ah!" The powerful impact blasted almost all the recruits away, then they crashed violently into the wall and lost consciousness.
"Ah~~~! He... Sister Hera, are you... are you alright?" Coco curled up in a ball, clutching her head tightly as she spoke, her voice trembling.
In front of Coco was a metal wall about two meters high. It was this metal wall that blocked the damage from the explosion and prevented Coco from getting hurt.
Seeing that there was no response for a long time, Coco cautiously poked her head out from her arms and looked around.
The expected scene of the wall being blown black did not occur; only the weapons on the wall and on the supports were shaken off.
However, on one wall, there was a large hole, about the size of a person. The hole looked like it had just been carved out, and pieces of gravel had fallen off from it.
Hera, however, had long since disappeared.
Also disappeared was the culprit, Yan Wusheng.
"Cough! Cough! Cough..." A cough came from Instructor Hongwei.
At this moment, Instructor Hongwei was leaning against the wall with one hand, his face was pale, and sweat kept pouring from his forehead. He looked extremely weak.
"Damn it! He's a complete lunatic. If I hadn't used my superpower to reduce the power of the explosion, those bastards would have been crippled or dead."
Instructor Hongwei cursed angrily, then looked at Coco, the only one still able to move.
Keke was stared at by Instructor Hongwei, her body tensed instantly, and her face panicked, not knowing what to do.
If you're going to run, the instructors are already so nervous; this is definitely the best chance to get the bell.
But if she were to try and snatch the bell now, it would be somewhat opportunistic and lacks martial ethics. Besides, even if the instructor is in such a state, Coco doesn't think she can definitely beat him.
Just as Coco was caught in a dilemma, Instructor Hongwei suddenly reached out his hand and spoke with difficulty.
"Help me up..."
On the other side.
Hera was running forward at an incredible speed, faster than ever before.
Hera didn't stop until she rushed into the cafeteria.
The injuries to his hands from chiseling through the wall then healed instantly.
Behind him, Yan Wusheng, panting heavily, leaned against the doorframe, a hint of surprise in his eyes as he looked at Hera.
"Look at this seemingly delicate girl, she managed to break through a nearly half-meter-thick cement wall in less than two seconds."
Running that fast is truly rare.
Yan Wusheng wiped his sweat, straightened his back, and once again adopted an extremely arrogant demeanor, continuing:
"Although I know you didn't mean to help me, since you let me escape, I'll consider myself indebted to you."
I hate owing favors to others.
"So, thank you." Then she ran off without looking back.
Hera, who had her back to him the whole time, never listened to a word he said.
They were still reeling from the explosion and hadn't recovered for a long time.
"Explosion! Explosion! I'll die from the explosion! I'll die!" The memory of almost being killed by the [Thunderstorm] in City C kept replaying in Hera's mind.
A strange feeling, never before experienced, began to linger over Hera.
The feeling is like someone is scraping your spine with an extremely cold dagger, making you want to tremble and run away.
