Chapter 381 Get along well, don't argue or fight.

Seeing Lou Chunyue's dejected expression and listless tone, Chu Yang asked, "What did my parents say to you just now?"

Lou Chunyue gently shook her head, a slight smile appearing on her face: "No, it has nothing to do with my aunt and uncle. They just asked about my family situation, my hobbies, and how I met you. They were very kind and welcoming to me. I just... I just suddenly felt..."

She lowered her head and said, "I just feel like I don't have any talent."

"Talent? For example?" Chu Yang asked.

"For example, Xiao Li is a great dancer and a beautiful singer. And Li Qing Shu, I heard from you that she is well-read and proficient in all the arts, including music, chess, calligraphy, and painting. And Zhou Yang, who can make really delicious cocktails. As for me, I don't seem to have any particular talents."

Chu Yang stopped and looked at her with a smile: "Just because of that?"

"Also, my family's financial situation is the worst." Lou Chunyue seemed to have lost her confident demeanor, and her soft voice carried a hint of inferiority.

“Although my parents are also in business, they are far less successful than my uncle. Also,” she sighed softly, her delicate eyebrows furrowing slightly, “I am a year older than Zhou Yang.”

"No wonder you look so down, you've been thinking about all this." Chu Yang pulled her into his arms and stroked her hair. "First of all, it doesn't matter what my women's family background is like, because I can provide you with the best conditions, so you don't need to compare yourself to others."

"As for talent, sister, don't underestimate yourself. Your help to my career is the best display of your talent. Putting everything else aside, how could the company function without you? Who negotiated those copyright deals?"

"In business, your abilities are irreplaceable, understand?"

"Really?" Lou Chunyue looked up, her beautiful eyes shining.

"Of course it's true." Chu Yang flicked her nose and said:

"And another thing, Zhou Yang is twenty-four, and you are only twenty-five, a year older. You are mature in every way, you know everything you need to know, you can be sexy, you are also very rational, and you are not clingy. Most importantly, with your figure and beauty, I can't help but have all sorts of fantasies when I look at you. Oh no, I can't help having all sorts of fantasies again. Please rein in your irresistible charm."

Lou Chunyue was amused by him and chuckled. She lightly punched his chest and said coquettishly, "You're so good with words. I'm not as good as you make me out to be."

Then she pulled him closer, whispered in his ear, her voice sweet and seductive: "But I love hearing it, I love it so much."

Chu Yang couldn't resist such teasing, so he cupped her face and kissed her.

Under the moonlight, a couple lingered and entwined, clinging tightly to each other.

After a long while, Chu Yang said softly, "Sister, let's go inside. It's not convenient to be out in the wild."

"That wouldn't be good. It's in your house. If your parents heard this, it would be so embarrassing."

"Don't worry, their rooms are at the other end of the resort. You and Xiaoli aren't the wild type, so keep your voices down and they won't hear you."

"Hmm...Okay, have you ever worked with the wild type?"

"No, I've seen those kinds of action movies. Some of the female teachers in them scream like pigs being slaughtered, and they're saying things like 'Yamete' and 'Iku.' I can't stand that kind of thing."

"Pfft, it must be acting, how could it be called like that? Where did you watch the movie?"

"I'll take you back to study this, and we can discuss and learn together."

"……Um."

"..."

They chatted all the way back to the villa.

The open space in front of the villa was deserted; Mom, Dad, and Grandma must have gone back to the back room to rest.

As they walked across the open space and were about to go around to the front house, they suddenly saw a little old woman carrying a lantern, waving slowly at them.

Like summoning a ghost: "Come here, come here..."

"Holy crap, that scared your dad to death!" Chu Yang exclaimed in surprise.

Lou Chunyue was so frightened she almost fainted.

"You son of a bitch, who the hell do you think you are!" the old woman cursed.

Chu Yang looked closely and said, both amused and exasperated, "Oh, it's Grandma! Grandma, it's me, Chu Yang, your grandson!"

"Get out of here, you little brat. I'm looking for my daughter-in-law. Shu'er, come here," Grandma said with a smile.

"Shu'er?" Lou Chunyue was taken aback and stared at Chu Yang.

Chu Yang chuckled awkwardly, "Grandma's confused. She often mistakes people for others, and her hearing isn't very good either."

Then she corrected, "Grandma, she is Chunyue."

Lou Chunyue walked to her grandmother's side.

Grandma took her hand and put a silver ring on her finger.

An ancestral silver ring, given only to his granddaughter-in-law.

"Good granddaughter-in-law, you're so beautiful." Grandma gently stroked Lou Chunyue's cheek and said kindly, "You must get along well, don't quarrel or fight, Grandma is waiting to hold her great-grandchild."

After saying that, he turned and left, saying, "Go to sleep, you guys."

Chu Yang quickly followed, took the lantern from her hand, helped her up, and said to Lou Chunyue, "You go into the room first, I'll take Grandma back to her room."

Lou Chunyue snapped out of her daze, looked at the ring on her hand, and instead of going into the room, followed her and took her grandmother's other arm.

Grandma smiled broadly: "Good granddaughter-in-law, so obedient, Grandma likes you."

"Thank you, Grandma," Lou Chunyue said with a smile.

Chu Yang could tell that she was in a relaxed and happy mood.

I exchanged a glance with her and slowly helped my grandmother back to her room to rest.

On the way back, Lou Chunyue waved her hand and asked, "Xiao Li has a ring like this, right? What about Shu'er?"

“Everyone gets a share. Grandma and I are treated the same; she won’t favor one over the other,” Chu Yang said with a smile.

Lou Chunyue hummed twice: "So, I was the last one to get the ring, right?"

Chu Yang chuckled: "Don't worry about the details. Bringing you back was quite an adventure for me, you know."

"Alright, alright, I won't hold it against you." Lou Chunyue smiled and took his arm.

Arriving at the front room, I gently pushed the door open and went inside.

Little Pear was lying in bed, seemingly already asleep.

"Let's go take a shower first," Chu Yang whispered.

Lou Chunyue nodded and went into the bathroom with him.

A moment later, a faint humming sound could be heard coming from inside.

The bathroom is not well soundproofed.

Little Pear was woken up by the noise.

He rubbed his eyes, looked towards the bathroom, and listened for a while before his cheeks felt hot.

"You bad guy, hmph."

Then she bit her lip, lifted the covers and got out of bed, tiptoing to the bathroom door.

I gently pushed open the door and went inside.

The sound inside paused.

Her face flushed with embarrassment, she whispered, "I...I want to take a shower too..."
