Immediately, Ellen turned off the IV drip and quickly pulled out the needle from her body.
"Hey, Ellen, isn't what you're doing wrong?" Ruby stared at Ellen, unsure whether to stop her or not, caught in a dilemma.
"It's nothing. Just replenishing my energy. I feel much better now."
Eileen comforted Ruby, then said, "Okay, I'm fine now. Thank you both for keeping me company in the car, now it's time to go home."
"Oh, right, Fagga. If you're looking for a job, I can help you find one."
"Let's talk about job hunting later; we probably can't leave right now." Fagar continued playing his game without looking up.
"Can't leave? What do you mean?" Eileen was bewildered.
"Oh, it's just..." Ruby was about to explain when she suddenly heard the car door open and instinctively turned around to look.

The driver's side door of the ambulance was opened, but instead of a doctor in a white coat, people from the Public Security Bureau entered.
The man, sporting a full head of white fur and swaying soft cat ears, leaned back on his chair and gave a hearty laugh: "Hello, my name is Seth, and I'm the newly appointed sheriff. I'm going to take you back to the police station to make a statement now!"
With that, Seth turned the car key, and with a roar of the engine, the ambulance drove off.
Fagar put away his phone and looked out the car window. There was only one ambulance driving alone on the main road, while the rest of the police cars and ambulances were left behind.
Fagar frowned and asked, "Are only the three of us going to give statements?"
"Haha, the three of you are a bit special!"
Seth laughed heartily, and through the rearview mirror, Fagar and the other two could see that Seth was genuinely happy.
"Two students with formidable combat skills, and a mere apprentice rope craftsman who has just entered the profession yet can bring people out of the void—of course, they should be treated well."
"No, no, no!"
Upon hearing Seth's words, Ruby was immediately taken aback and quickly said, "Um... Sheriff Uncle, I'm not some apprentice rope maker."
"I idolize the sheriff! I've aspired to be an excellent investigator since I was little! That's why I specifically studied rope... oh, no, investigator skills!"
Seth laughed heartily after hearing this: "Great! Then I'll submit your investigator certification application at my own expense. I want to see your investigator certificate at the police station in a while!"
