Chapter 196 Going to the Outer Ring Road (2/2)

Lucius broke out in a cold sweat, licked his lips, and then craned his neck to look into the car again:

The driver was the young master of the wealthy business partner, while the passenger looked very professional, probably sent by the wealthy partner to discuss business.

There were two women in the back seat of the SUV. One of them seemed to be the young master's classmate, and the other was probably a sophisticated urban woman who had come with the person in the passenger seat.

It seems... there's nothing wrong.

All four of them looked at him with suspicion, and a hint of displeasure was already showing between their brows.

The squad leader's expression was visibly angry, and he bluntly said, "Hey, Second Boss, isn't it inappropriate for you to just stare into my car like that?"

"Oh, sorry, sorry. We people from the outer ring are used to being carefree; we should learn from them."

Upon hearing the squad leader's stern reprimand, Lucius's frivolous face suddenly showed a hint of panic. He quickly stepped back, bowing and scraping as he said:

"Young Master, you're here on the outer ring road to watch the Fire Hell Cycling event, right? Welcome, welcome! Once you're on the outer ring road, I'll cover your expenses. Just mention my name!"

Upon hearing this, the squad leader raised an eyebrow, turned his head to glance at Fagga, as if waiting for his opinion.

Fagga nodded slightly.

At this moment, Lucius was even more certain that the young master and his party were here to do business, and might take a look at the Hellfire Ride while they were at it.

The next moment, the squad leader turned around and said, "Okay, thank you for your generosity, Second Leader. We'll be going now."

"Take care, young master!"

Having confirmed the young master's group's purpose, Lucius waved his arms high, his obsequious appearance reflected in the rearview mirror.

The squad leader glanced at it, couldn't help but curl the corner of his mouth, and casually said, "This Lucius is really mercenary."

"How so?"

Fagga typed on his phone, sending the message in a neat and cold font, calming Ellen's restless heart.

Otherwise, Eileen would have jumped out of the car and killed Lucius with a single blow.

[Vampire Body Pillow: No rush, consider it lending him my life; I'll get it back sooner or later.]

[Vampire Body Pillow: Do you like the scenery around the outer ring road? I'll go with you there sometime.]

Eileen looked down at the screen, a slight smile playing on her lips, but she continued typing:

[Little Dried Fish: When you have free time, go sit in the bar where Colleen is infiltrating.]

[Vampire body pillow: I remember it being an open-air bar... but whatever, might as well check it out.]

After typing, send.

Fagga looked up and just then heard the squad leader say:

"In my memory, Lucius is a man who likes to curry favor with the rich and powerful. Even though his social status in the outer ring is much higher than mine, as soon as he hears that I am their young master, he immediately becomes obsequious and sycophantic."

"Uh...no, that's not right either, he's clearly the one with the [power]!"

...

The camp of the victors stands by the roadside.

After the little farce, things returned to normal.

Lucius seemed to be in a great mood. The young master was here again, and he figured he could get a whole bunch of clothes from him and make a fortune.

Haha, a huge sum of money!

Lucius looked somewhat dazed, his heart pounding.

The inner ring road is great; you can easily make a fortune just by leaking a little something over there.

If we could deepen our cooperation...

In an instant, Lucius regained his composure, his face flushing.

I dare not think about it, I really dare not think about it.

I'm so overwhelmed by happiness that I could faint if I thought about it for even a second longer.

"Boss, another vehicle is coming. It's the truck of the son of Calydon, with Billy in it and a girl I don't recognize next to him."

Suddenly, Morse appeared in front of Lucius.

Only he would call Lucius, the second-in-command of the Triumphs, "boss" when no one was around.

Upon hearing this, Lucius turned his head, his excited smile growing increasingly manic and distorted, as he cackled:

"Kill them!"

"yes!"

...

[Note 1: Thousand Faces: The rope maker who rose to fame after Phaethon deleted his account.]
