Chapter 234 Order: Eliminate them immediately! (1/2)

After speaking, Fagga glanced around, making a final check to confirm that there were no other rebels nearby.

I scanned the area three times, but there was no one there.

Once he was absolutely certain that everything was in order, Fagga withdrew his gaze, closed his eyes, and shut down his vampire vision as well. His breathing became long and even with his heartbeat, and he stepped back with his left leg, lowering his center of gravity.

Soon, Fagga took a deep breath, and his heart began to pound like a drum.

With each tap, a button on the butler's uniform is undone.

Thump!

One~

Thump!

Two…

Five…

The butler's uniform flew through the air.

Fagar took a step forward, and the enormous reaction force propelled him out like a cannonball. In mid-air, he flapped his wings, increasing his speed again, kicking up a cloud of yellow sand, and his figure became blurred.

Ellen had just returned from the SUV with the giant shears when Fagar had already vanished, leaving behind a huge pit large enough to fit four people playing mahjong.

"Hmm? This guy is always so forgetful."

Eileen suddenly realized something, raised her eyes slightly, and saw the butler's coat floating in mid-air. She reached out, grabbed it, and continued to chase after Fagga.

"Wake up, wake up! Did you hear something explode just now?"

Behind the boulder, one of the dozen or so rebels, a light sleeper, was suddenly awakened by the roaring sound. He quickly jolted awake and shook his comrades around him.

However, no one wanted to talk to him.

One of them swatted his hand away as if swatting a mosquito, turned his back to him, and said impatiently, "Come on, there was no explosion."

"So what if there are explosions? This is the outer ring road; explosions are perfectly normal here. You don't think the military would come this far for no reason..."

boom!

A deafening roar shattered the boulders, and the crimson of vampires gleamed brightly amidst the yellow sand that blanketed the sky.

Most people didn't even have time to let out a scream before their throats were pierced by drops of blood and pebbles. Blood gushed out, and their bodies were cut up like rag dolls that had been through a meat grinder. They were buried under the yellow sand without anyone's pity.

Suddenly, yellow sand swirled and surged toward the last surviving rebel.

The rebel lay on his back on the ground, as if by fate. He was the only one who was pushed out by the shockwave when Fagar broke through the boulder, and he survived.

Originally, if he started running backwards as fast as he could from now on, it would have given Fagar an extra half second to kill him.

Sadly, his trembling legs robbed him of his last half second of life.

He watched helplessly as a demon with wings on its back glanced at him with scarlet eyes, then folded its wings and slowly fell from mid-air, lifting itself by the collar with one hand and bringing it close to his fair and delicate face.

"Where is your rebel headquarters?"

Fagga spoke softly, his voice carrying the tone of a demon in the eyes of the rebels.

The rebel was terrified; his Adam's apple bobbed up and down, his eyes trembled, and his fear rendered him speechless for a moment.

Faga frowned, and his grip tightened. The rebel's eyes rolled back, and his legs, which were suspended in mid-air, thrashed about as he struggled to swat at Faga's hands.

It seemed like an eternity before Fagga slightly loosened his grip, looked up at the rebel soldier panting heavily, and saw that the despair in his eyes was even paler than the beads of sweat that had seeped out.

"Where is your rebel headquarters?" Fagar asked again.

This time, the rebels did not remain silent; they merely spoke haltingly, their lips trembling:

"I don't know... about the headquarters, but the branch is..."

Waaah~~~

In the vast sea of sand, an alarm suddenly sounded, something that hadn't been heard in a long time. This was unprecedented for the rebels who had just entered the cave.

They stood up numbly on instinct, then looked around blankly, exchanging glances and seeing the same confusion in each other's eyes. They hadn't received any intelligence that New Ellito had sent troops to attack, nor had they heard any sounds of cannon fire or swords clashing.

What happened? The alarm suddenly went off.
